It's one of the 4 masterpieces recognised by Casio as their most successful models so it'll definitely stick around. The other models in this list are: the dw5600, the dw6900 and the ga110 👌
you dont have to manually sync the watch for time correction . it does that by itself 4 times a day . the app works in the background no power drain at all when watch not connected. even when connected its really minimal power consumption for the phone or the watch since its calibrated to a maximum range of 2 meters . i own almost a dozen of GW's GWM's GAB's GMB's ,PRW's , multiband is a nice feature and Bluetooth also . Bluetooth + multiband together is an overkill if you ask me . solar charging for a country like mine isnt a problem .300 days a year are sunny days . greece is also a country that receives DCF77 easily between 03:00 am and 05:00 everyday . ive got 2 2100's . the one you have here as a beater and the dressy GMB2100d . worry free time pieces like all casios . enjoy your watch , its a spot on choice for every occasion
Are resin besel, resin bands, and mineral glass of the watch a scratch resistant? Because I have some scratches on resin besel and resin band of my watch and I have some dusts inside mineral glass analog screen case of my watch (gab2100-1acr). Is the watch a bad quality and fragil when it happens like this or do you like it like this? How much do you rate out of five stars or out of ten?
Resin will get nicked, but so will metal in the wrong environment. Mineral crystal is expected at the price. Doesn’t feel fragile. This is a Gshock but it is on the dressier side. If you need something very durable it shouldn’t be this model. You can’t force it to be something it’s not. Me personally, I’d say a 4/5. Don’t love the band sizing or lume but everything else is fine.
Depends what you value more. They're around the same price retail, so you're trading the bluetooth + tough solar for the metal bezel. I read that the resin bezels sometimes warp in humid countries. Metal gives more durability, but also adds some weight too. I have stainless steel automatics so I personally don't have a need for a metal G-shock. Third option is buy a GAB2100 and look for a metal bezel mod from China/AliXpress.
That’s up to you. Looks and form aren’t that far off from a smart watch which people wear with formal stuff all the time. It’s a Gshock so scratch, water, dust, shock resistant.
I love g shock but the older I get, the more sleek and less busy I want my time pieces to be. Also a big fan of analog over digital. I stopped wearing g shock because of the bulk reason. But I’m an outdoors man though. Work construction so having a tough watch for every day wear is crucial for me. I have many watches. Tissot PRX Powermatic 80. A Seiko. But I don’t dare ware them out in the wood atving or on the job site I bought this model (in back and yellow) because how much smaller it is compared to the other analogs. And the more simple look of the face. This model can actually display digital time as well. Overall it’s a great watch and perfect for what I need. Some of the other analogs are like 57mm. Sheesh!
Found your battlefront vid today, I dig your style. Calm cool and don't try to put on a fake show. I'm gonna stick around

Is it a scratch and dust resistant?
Buttons of the watch (gab2100-1acr) are non scratch resistant.
Love mine
Which would you prefer, this or the GM2100 half-metal?

They accept trade in?
Couldn’t decide…. I bought both
Is GAB2100-1A a suitable for business and formal suits with tie?

The dimensions are really incredible. Makes it hard to put on any other watch when it’s a grab and go situation.
How big your wrist ?
I’ve never officially measured but I think around 6.75 inch / 17cm.
Feel like a pirate lol
