The addition of the 17rd mag makes this even more appealing.

@@xJinzohI second this
@@xJinzohI'm buying one with the 10 round just so I can upgrade when I leave this god forsaken state 😂
I’ve been carrying the Hellcat pro for almost a year. Great news that it’s coming with a factory 17 round mag now!
Im Croat and my home defence gun is Hellcat Pro, amazing gun, my next gun is Echelon surely
Y'all make some very reliable guns for sure.
Just picked mine up and it came with 5 mags and a range bag. Great gun great value as well.
Nice review, short concise and helpful. I am leaning toward picking one up.
Hellcat Pro is my daily carry. I ordered some 17 round mags
Just ordered me 2 today! Can’t wait for the review!
Same here! Especially with the Labor Day sale they have right now. No brainer
Make sure you get them 3 free mags!!
Hey Johnny, love your content! I can’t help it to notice the watches you wear. Could you do a video or short of your collection? I love guns and watches, stay safe my friend!
Will be adding to my list
I absolutely love my hellcat pro. My EDC, just upgraded my mags to the 17 rounders
more grip?
@scripteaze technically yes. But the original grip fits my hand so well don't really need it.
@@dodgersfan5597fits mine fine as well but a tiny tad more would be better i think
I have the hellcat 3” micro compact bought the 17rd mag for spits and giggles. Prior I just used the 13rd mags. With the 13rd mags and grip at 7and 15yards my groups were nut to butt. Put the 17rd mag in with the plus the sleeve from a 15rd to fill in gap. And with actual full grip of the 17rd i key holed every round at 7 and 15 yards with the 3” barrel. Grip makes a difference using 2.5 fingers isn’t ideal but works. Now regardless if used 13rd mags or 17rd grips with tbeir respective grips at 25 yards I still suck ass. Although I didn’t miss and hit all torso. Just a different part of torso every time. Sorta looked like Ray Charles shot my hellcat at 25 and shots were all over. But I didn’t miss it or drop and at least all torso.
I hope to eventually purchase a HellCat Pro. I currently own & carry the Springfield Armory XD-9mm subcompact. Nice little pistol for the price!!!
I just purchased one at the gun show in Virginia on Sunday can't wait until I get it
I want this as my concealed carry!
I got the micro with 15 round mags. This Pro in fde and 17rounds is real nice 👍🏼
Good video, johnny
Just pre ordered it here in cali…. Super excited!!!
Same
I just got mine, it came with 1, 17 round mag, 1, 15 round and they have the " Bundle Up " promo of a range bag, 1, 17 round mag and 2, 15 round mags.
Love it! Just like my g45 with the Glock +2’s for a total of 19+1. 4” barrel with front serrations. JG’s combat trigger system, a light, and tritium irons. Been wanting yo get a hellcat or Sig SAS
Don't do the SAS man… I wish I would've got the regular 365 :/
@@JustNHavoc thank you. For what reasons do you not like the sas? I’ve shot it some and find it quite snappy, darn near unruly. and it gave my trigger finger a hot spot in just a few mags. But, I loved the sighting system and shot well using it. And it can literally be put in a pair of pants front pocket. Kinda crazy. I’m liking the shadow systems guns. The tiny 13+1 is pretty bad ass window slide and TiNi barrels.
nice catch
I fucking love your videos so far! :)
Just picked up the Hellcat Pro in FDE today 😁 so glade I got it
can you do video comparing the hellcat pro, p360 and glock.
Im getting one may have to put my 365 xl up for a few weeks
I already comp it with the 17rd mag and 5 15rd mags great gun
Noticed it not locking back on the last rounds a couple of times.

Thumb on the slide lock. If he wasn't pinning it down it would probably function fine.
@mattstephens6137 @6:39 and i believe that is the second time. I really hope it him riding the slide lock because i just ordered one of these things lol
Hellcat pro my EDC.
can you do a live stream at the range or no? (This is a suggestion you don’t have to do it)
Good question

No. You cannot have a weapon on a livestream. I think that's on any platform (too many idiots recording their desk-pops).

I literally just bought this gun today.
Looks like a winner
Johnny. What optic you throwing on there?
So happy you left the PD johnny……. You don’t need em, you got your own job and career now❤
Gorgeous thing
Going to buy one tomorrow!
When you getting a magnifier for your patrol rifle ? 🔥
Which do you prefer out of the hell cat pro or the X macro
Looking to get one as my ccw
Are you riding the slide or is it just not locking back?
Love my all black hellcat pro ✅
Did you ever purchase an OWB holster for the gun? I do plan on getting the threaded barrel down the road. I have been looking at a holster since I just purchased this gun in black today 02/21/24. I have put a light on the gun and waiting for the optic to be received and also ordered tonight. Any help would be appreciated from anyone.
Can you review smith and Wesson m&p competitor
Hellcat pro is like a CZ P 10 C luv this kind of Stryker fire pistol
The trigger is much better on the cz
I currently carry the XDS Mod 2 3” and it appears much smaller than this Hellcat Pro. Wish you had spoken to its size.
QUESTION!
How would you compare the snappiness from the Hellcat Pro to Sig P365X??
Had mine a while. Goes everywhere with me. I like it though.
What plate carrier are you wearing?
Coming from a state that only allows a capacity of 10 rounds, what are your thoughts comparing the Hellcat Pro vs Glock 43x?
If you had to choose one, which one would be the winner?
i just bought this for my first conceal carry for my 21st. Mine came with a red dot instead of the 17 round mag.
Where did you get it from buds?
@brendanhickey9771 I got it from sportsman's warehouse
So, will this new 17 round mag work with the original Hellcat Pro I bought last year (WITHOUT the newly added safety switch on the ‘new’ Hellcat Pro)? Thanks. ~Jim~
Yes, also works on the original hellcat. Looks ridiculous on the smaller gun though lol
@@jamesson2098 yeah, I wondered about how it’d look on the Hellcat original too, bc, I have the original ‘and’ rthe Pro! 😂 It’d probably be a bit harder to hide the hand grip and clip from poking out more than usual carrying concealed I would imagine on the original. Thanks for the information…17+1 is better than 15+1! Have a great day!
I have the second gen Hellcat, no dummy safety. The trigger is the safety.
Bro has add for sure
The 17 round mag aslso fits the hellcat. Just need to take the mag sleeves off the 15 and put them on the 17 for a full grip. Now you get 18 rounds in a micro
Yes
Just bought it, and mine came with 2x 15rd mags, a mag loader, and a red dot. Great gun!
Red dot included? From where and how much

Johhny Q…
Hellcat Pro, glock 43x or P365 macro? Which you think is the better choice.
I've owned the p365 & 43x.
P365 mags started to rust!?
The 43x is VERY snappy. Hard to follow up shoot.
I really think I'm gonna get this one.
🤞🏼
Does this magazine work with the regular hellcat or just the pro?
BOTH
Can you unload a gun in 2 seconds?
Can you mag dump the hellcat pro?
did you shoot any cheap ammo through it
Will this 17 round magazine fit the regular Hellcat?
What do you think of the stock sights?
They took a little getting used to for me. I prefer 3 dot, but the U-notch works well once you sort it out.
where did you get ur vest??
Very nice gun. 😊😊👍👍🤩🤩
So is nobody gonna talk about his old spin art anymore I used to watch it all the time it’s still funny when he would hit his nipple he went off my feed for a bit and I’m into guns to I watch Ak daddy and all of them just got reminded bc I watch the short that he made about people thinking his gun wall was fake and then I went to his profile and seen the shorts I didn’t even realize it was the same guy bc he looks a bit different from what he used to
Can you do neon coulors? Pls
I was sold at 17 rounds lol
Hey brother, just saw a vid that recommends civis carry the same ammo as police, I’m just curious what brand of ammo do you carry for your edc? Love your vids, thank you!

Be nice if I could. But my state outlawed 10+ round mags a year ago.
Leave that shithole
You can get your mags rivet pin for that 10 rounds sucks but u can
@@sulomangaming8238 I'm sure I can get a 10 round version. But if the entire draw is the 17 round capacity, then there's not much point for me to get it.
@@sulomangaming8238may as well just get a 43x at tht point
oh, so the enemy can't use 10+ either, thank god
H Johnny, I qualified for a firearm endorsement with my Hellcat Pro, because I don't have a full-size weapon yet. It shot flawlessly. I agree that the trigger is a little mushy, but I just adapted. Now, I just need to pick up a few of the 17 rounders and I'll be good to go. Very informative video and I'll mention that I subscribed to your channel.

I noticed no last round slide lock?
Is this the same on 10, 15 rounder mags?
Look at 2:45. it locks.
How many concealed weapons can you carry at a time?
69

What sleeve? Lol
@@SuperFame88 Some Magazines Comes With The Sleeve 🤨 I Just Found Out It Was A Built In Sleeve On The Base Extension Your Comment Wasn’t Needed
I noticed there was no last round bolt hold at 6:38. Has anyone else experienced that?
I’ve experienced it once, usually happens when the gun is new. After 200rds and a good clean it stopped doing it
I tried to buy on and it's sold out damn them.
💥Was thinking about getting one🙄. but I DON'T LIKE THE FACT THAT THE SLIDE DOESN'T LOCK BACK WHEN EMPTY!🥺
Slide Didn't locked back at 4:40 🤔
That's a very bouncy shooting gun given its barrel length. Not sure how you said its low recoil. Don't be afraid to speak some negatives about guns even if they provide you compensation.
It’s not bouncy, it feels just like any Sig 365, Glock 26, or shield. People just hate on it based on jealousy.
@@redskins1120I have to agree with him. I have the Hellcat Pro and like it. However it is snappier with more recoil than my same sized Shield Plus and Canik Mete.
This is about to replace my g19, dammit!
Looks like it wasn't locking back on some of your final shots??? How come you didn't mention that? I would consider that a malfunction, or at the least an issue with the mag...
Because he's being paid to not do it. I wish that shit would stop don't give ppl shill advice or opinions on fuckin firearms, they're not something to take lightly or with fallacy
He holds the slide release button
@@outoforder6600...it doesn't just malfunction like crazy man, he's just riding the lever...
We would have reports of those malfunctions by now if it were a serious issue...it's just a basic Glock mechanism, it's not rocket science...
Im debating Hellcat pro or FN 509 Tactical.
Buy the sig 365 x macro comp its a lot better than the other two
I rented one at the range and i kept shooting low. My G43x and 365 shot well not sure why. Could it be that U shaped sight?
Also, i noticed the magazine slide in the Hellcat Pro very easy with ZERO resistance. i mean to the point that I thought I was using the wrong mag.
Is this normal?
Would u prefer this or the Sig 365XL?
I would that’s what I got with the comp and it’s made in the USA
XL can't hold this much, better comparison is the p365 macro...but that one is significantly larger than the hellcat pro.
Is the safety ambidextrous or no?
It is ambidextrous. I have the hellcat pro with the safety. I will be ordering the extended mags soon too. 😂🎉
Hellcat pro and p365 xmacro are basically in competition with eachother anyone have any experience with both can tell me which they prefer and why
I have the P365 x macro I love it I carry it every day handles recoil amazing I have a mag extension I get 20 + 1 it’s all around solid and it’s super slim
Hc Pro is more conceleable, more versatile with that standard flush fit 15 round that conceals better and the new 17 round for spare mag. Hc pro is thinner, slightly lighter, and therefore "snappy" in comparison to heavier and thicker compact handguns. Has better abrassive texture grip for sure, and is less picky with ammo.
Sig sauer has better grip angle, larger and a little bit harder to conceal due to the larger grip and standard ammo capacity (17 + 1), has a little bit more width in the frame and slide. It has flat trigger (which is slightly better IMO), with no manual nor safety blade. The compensator does not make the difference that many would think. When you shoot it, it lets you know it is there to tame a little bit of muzzle flip (not quite the recoil impulse, tho) but I don't think it worth the cons that comes with it: extra $ (like $ 150 in comparison to standard Xmacro) and the muzzle flash and fragments of powder ejected in all directions (which is the most dangerous and important con of the compensators in CC handguns).
And... there's the ugly thing of the xmacro that makes the Hc better for me, and that's its rusty issue because of the poorly done finish. Either mags and the gun get rusty easily (which is unjustified at the price point of both). Hellcat Pro mags are a little bit expensive but don't get rusty and IMO those are the better build overall in this market. There's even bundles like the Hellcat gear up (including the gun, a soft bag/case and 5 (15 rounds) mags.
It's up to you. I wish it was Sig Sauer, but the facts are there.
@@goran5088Would you take the Hellcat pro over the shield plus?
@RanTausi The fair comparison here is Hellcat pro vs M&P Shield Plus 4" Performance Center. That being clear, here we go:
Hellcat pro is still thinner by 1/10 of an inch, shorter in overall length by 1/2 of a inch and shorter in height by 1/2 of an inch. Same weight overall between these two. Stippling texture is more abrasive on hellcat and it covers more surface, including the memory panels. It has more standard ammo capacity (by +2 rounds -13 +1 vs 15+1) even though the grip is taller in the Shield, and now the thing goes even further with the new 17 rounds mag for the hellcat. Reliability is on the Shield side by far, with an advantage of 10 years background history of proven reliability. Fire control unit is slightly better positioned in the Shield, specially the slide release button which is not so backwards like Hellcat's is. Ergonomics are subjective; better for me by a hair on Hellcat just because I have baby's hands and like narrower grips better, and hellcat's grip is narrower as well. Trigger is generic-mushy-6pounds of trigger pull on both, like most of the polymer frame CC handguns. Maybe lighter by a hair on Shield, and on the other hand, crisper and more predictable on Hellcat. I would change to Apex or Monarch on either one. Sights significantly better on Shield, which has red tritium on rear and green tritium on front vs just tritium on front on hellcat and U white painted in rear. Price is similar in most of the online stores (20 to 50 $ difference in Hellcat's favor), with the advantage for the Hellcat's bundle (Hellcat Pro Gear up) that comes with 5 fifteenth rounders magazines at $ 580 vs Shield Plus $ 580 with one tenth and one thirteenth rounders (just 2 -but don't forget that the sights are still better on Shield). Shootability is subjective and relies on shooter's capabilites. That being said, Hellcat pro has a bit more snappiness in it and I assume that's because the barrel/slide lenght in the Shield Plus Performance Center 4" is 1/2 of an inch longer, and those parts of the handguns are made of the heavy material in the overall handgun, so, it might compensate the muzzle flip. Neither of both has shown to be picky with ammo and they're both rated +P ammo use. Anesthetics are subjective; Hellcat has it in this one for me, though.
Final thought: Hellcat does it better for me because of the grip, ergos, mags price, ammo capacity in both standard and extended set up. It's just better for conceal carry purpose (for me -short skinny guy, tiny hands). But it is hard to ignore all the other advantages that Shield has over the Hellcat, including the sights and the slightly better performance at shooting that the longer barrel grants.
@@goran5088 Well thank you very much for the insight appreciate. The story is I bought the shield plus 3.1 barrel optics ready front red dot tritium model after the range. The range was done with Jericho, after the range I shoot only 5 Rd with the shield plus and I think 5 rd with Mossberg or maybe it was a small hellcat I don't remember. So the comparison needs to be between them. So the smith has a better reputation negotiable ,maybe more easy to sell as second hand. After I purchased the smith at the store range they told me it will restock in a week. So I ask the guy if I can hold the hell pro it I have found it to be almost the same size except the barrel is 3.7 vs 3.1 all the rest almost the same by a hair and I really liked the flat mag with the grip and still easy to conceal after all Ill have to cary it most of the day and with my work , as I drive between medical hospitals and worked on instrument at labs so comfort is important.
Is 3.7 vs 3.1 barrel means that the hellcat pro should be more accurate and less snappy then short ones ?
Bro. You’re not gonna mention the slide not locking back on last round.? (Twice )
MBN to be in law enforcement I want to own the HellCat but not allowed to buy it without being active duty or law enforcement
I'm unable to get used to the tiny and too vertical grip but I'll bet my life on it's %100 reliability in close, ugly situations.
Not locking slide back I’ll pass❗️❗️🤠
How thick is it? ...thats what she said...but serious how thick?
I love the hellcat pro but it’s hard to conceal
You must not be able to conceal much then.
I'm a small guy and while it prints a little bit on me (in regular old jeans/pants/shorts and a tee), it conceals very well. I've been running a black arch entrada holster/mag carrier rig and kore essentials gun belt. What holster and belt are you running?

This should be a commercial for the Hellcat Pro. Because it's sure as heck isn't a Review. A Review is stating not just how excited you are about the product but also the negative side . Watching a guy wearing a loaded combat vest at the Range and being all giggly just doesn't do it for me.
