I have already bought a comprehensive book on grammar and vocabulary. But unfortunately it is not effective in learning the right verbs and prepositions as, the verbs and prepositions are not the same in English. For Example, Il fait froid. This translates to It makes cold.
I learnt French formally in 2006, but had to quit because of work. However, in the last few months, this and some other channels have encouraged me to dedicate a few hours every week in learning French again.

Why didn't you pronounce the " s" of " avons" in "Nous avouns eu" since there is a vowel coming after it? The same applies to "Vous avez eu" and "ils/Elles ont eu"
