My lil Shizou is sick and she's had diarrhea and it's bloody and I've done everything I possibly can at home to take care of her with pumpkin and chicken and rice. I called the vet this morning and I told them what was going on I'm taking her in on Monday.My question is if parvo is going around because I live in a neighborhood surrounded by dogs and I'm dodging poop because no one picks up their poop of the dog, the receptionist told me to bring her in on Monday she's eating she's drinking she has diarrhea she's got blood in there and I don't want her to have parvo she's 11 years old and I love her with all my heart she's my soulmate I know I'm doing the right thing by taking her I guess just wish me luck you know I've done the best I can with her here at home and she had all of her shots in April of 2022 perhaps she needs another shot or some kind of medication please pray that she'll be okay because this is my little soulmate and I can't be without her. Thank you for your videos you're very informing and I watch them all the time.

Pop Corn can get lodged in the intestines, and the latest on peanut butter is that even without xylitol, sugar etc there something that isn't right. Always remember that there are foods out there that all ingredients are not mentioned, as lab tests have shown ;)
This is wise advice. Plus peanut butter may be too fatty for them. My pups like fresh carrots as well. The crunch pleases their chewing needs. I lodge them in their Kong holders.
My Shih Tzu has been eating old fashioned popcorn for years. She loves it, but I do limit her to about 10 pieces. No bag popcorn, though…too processed!

Sardines are also very good for both cats and dogs. In dogs, it helps prevent hair-balls if fed once a week, and they love it.

That’s funny, I give mine pumpkin for diarrhea and it works very well so I don’t think I would give it to him for constipation.

You should have your Shih Tzu vaccinated for everything it sounds like parasites. Best to get to a vet 😢
