Oh man, I wish we could have reviewed the fat tire TK1. We reviewed the thin tire MoonCool Tri-350 before this Tk1 came out. I missed out 😢......at least the new Trike comes mostly assembled.
I like the Mooncool Trike, it's heavier than the Lectric... Mines just over 60 Lbs without the Battery but it has slightly smaller tires and made with a lot more aluminum parts... (Lectric XP Trike) But they both have about the same design...
What a wonderful option should balancing become uncomfortable. My most recent E-bike purchase was one with a dropped top frame bar. Now I don't have to worry about getting leg up and over when getting on. A trike will be a couple of years down the road.
Question: What type fork stem does this bike have? My reason for asking is that I would rather have an adjustable 'air over oil' fork than a coil spring suspension fork.
I have reviewed roughly 20 to 40 e-bikes and I don't know of any of them that actually use hydraulic oil in the shocks . However they still work really well
@@Rvdaydream Well if you expand from E-Trikes to E-Bikes then take a look at the Dost Drop E-Bike. It has an Air Fork ... so does my Revive but of course I built/converted that one myself.
I have this exact trike and I cannot get the latch closed and the throttle handle turns all the way around. Any suggestions on this before I return it.
@Rvdaydream I opened the box today, and there's bolts missing a broken latch and a broken throttle and no support from the manufacturer. Obviously not the best experience.
All of their support is done through their website on their email contact form. They are obviously in another time zone. Usually I get replies Within three working days. They do have a liberal return policy if you choose to go that route.
Thank you for the review. This will be my choice for my wife and I. You know what I don’t understand about men in our country, and it explains why they always chose black or drab grey. Why do you and so many others feel that a nice bright color is girly? Paranoia runs deep with men. Scared of their piers comments. Weaker than women.
Yeah, we were instructed to do a review on this one. Some manufacturers want assembly videos of their product. However, since this one is 95% assembled they thought it best for me to do a review video
@@Rvdaydream Thanks for the speedy reply; not sure why I'm struggling with reading the instructions....I'm going to blame it on being tired and try again in the morning ! Just moved to Florida and looking forward to zippy around on something other than a golf cart! haha!
We just finished putting ours together I noticed that your speed said 19 mph and then possibly 21 did you unlock it somehow, I have velotric nomad 1's And I have unlocked them
I don't I don't remember doing anything to this one. Sometimes I go into the sub menus and change the po8 setting. But I think this one was already at maximum if I'm not mistaken. I really don't like messing around with those sub menus.
We are Camp host at a Florida location South of you. I have a 2 wheel ebike for myself and would love to get my wife on one. However she is at or slightly under 5'. I know there are 14" wheel bikes but her stability is the issue of riding bike. So enter the trike. My issue is moving this from place to place. Have to really think about that side of the usage. My ebike is a folding 20" x 4 but boy it is a big bike. Much larger than the 👉lectric ebikes when side by side - shockingly larger.
Yeah the strike is nice and like I said the video no matter how it folds it's still the same size it's just a different shape. This is probably the best compromise between what I would consider big all-terrain trikes and small what I consider nonsense trikes that are really unstable because they're so small. The box that I showed in the video before I unpacked it that's about a small as you're going to be able to get it so that's the kind of size of compartment you're going to need to transport it.
Funny! Every time you 2 came to a stop you put your feet down as if riding a two-wheeler! The benefit of riding a trike is that you can keep your feet on the pedals at all times.
I did not go through all the P settings. Most of these bikes have a cruise function that is turned off by default for safety reasons. As a matter of fact I don't recall it having a walk function? I can't imagine trying to walk with a trike?
@@Rvdaydreampress the '-' button puts it walk mode. I like to ride it in walk mode. There needs to be a way to slow it down. It's too fast on PAS 1. 7 1/2 mph is too fast for older people.
Here is a thought for your viewers, my wife has balance issues and uses bungee cords to tie down her rolator Nitro walker on the back basket so she can walk away from the trike when going to a restaurant or other activity.

You guys are AWESOME!! But every time I think I have an E Bike picked out you come up with a better one.😂😂😂😂

This bike seem to be the same as the XP ETrike. Everything is the same.
Thank you for this video !! I used your link and discount code on this exact trike tonight. You saved me $200 off of mine. Thank you so much !!
Glad we could help!
Great review. I would have enjoyed hearing you comment on the ride as you were going bit overall I found this super helpful. 👍
That e Bike is so cool. Just imagine food shopping. Up-and-down the aisles beep beep. Happy Thanksgiving guys.
Thanks for all the information and tips. Your video was very helpful!😀

Except for this one trike , all of our reviews have been on e-bikes all of them have been non- hydraulic @@Bonjour-World
Why are these front motor drive on their website, and the one you show is a rear drive?
They make more than one model of trike you are looking at the wrong one
I have this exact trike and I cannot get the latch closed and the throttle handle turns all the way around. Any suggestions on this before I return it.
Those are both normal bicycle repairs. I would look at getting that taken care of locally as it could be fixed easily by a bike mechanic.

Did you say this trike only has 1 speed? ON the Mooncool site it says it has Shimano 7 speed gear system
No shifter on the rear motor jackshaft drive... Their front hub Drive trikes that they offer have shifters.
Hi. I'm confused. With these electric trikes, do you even need to pedal?
Almost all electric bikes have a throttle.. So, no, you do not have to peddle..
I would like to buy an e trike, when will they be getting restocked, ?The color I want is sold out .
Call them.
New model is also being reviewed shortly AND big black Friday sales going on too.. Use the link in the description

I will have to say though it wasn't very fast at first until I fully charged it

Very nice bike. What color is it?
Blue
This trike would be good for RAGBRAI, by adding a couple of extra batteries, and you got plenty of space to carry them and other stuff.
What pas was you riding in?
Always the highest
I am so getting this bike...

Yeah 16 mph is for old people. I’m 63 I got a ADDMOTOR 360 it goes 22 mph still a little slow but not too slow.
