Thanks John, I must admit I like the fragonset livery so it mite be a good one to go for I picked the wcr one because I have a few in that livery and trying to stick with current running locos and liveries. Thanks for watching. Tom
hi first time here , great layout , can i please suggest the magnetic coupling to solve your front beam detail problem , worked for me . hope this helps ,look forward to future vids , kind regards , john
Hi John glad you like the layout, I should have an update soon on it, I've been experimenting with different magnetic couplings, I've done one of my hsts with the new hornby ones and I've put magnetic couplers on my dapol megafret wagons which sorted out derailement issues, I'll get round to the 33s and swap there couplers eventually 😂
Nice! Really good loco and well-presented explanation on your video👍 Wasn't sure about this Heljan 33, but a lovely model and good decent sound too. 33 it will be👌 Keep up your brilliant videos and a magic layout. Cheers. Iain
Hi Peter I'll probably do that the hunt couplings have solved a few problems before like on my dapol megafret wagons. Thanks for the advice and watching the vid. Tom
thanks Peter i do like the livery its a shame i dont really see them in carnforth anymore i think there based in southall now, and i do think hes done a good job of the sound fitting, it was the couplers i was worried about but so far there ok am also going to try hunt magnetic couplers and see what there like. thanks for watching. Tom
@@northwesttrainsmodels Hi Tom , I can still have issues with the magnetic couplings reversing into sidings with a standard point . Sometimes ok and sometimes not , the longer points are better but they can take up too much space . You have got me thinking about adding to my West Coast Railway diesels after watching this , I would like the 57 ........Peter
Nice loco, shame about the detail catching the tension lock. It would possibly be ok with kaydees but you dont want to change all your couplings for one loco. Ive the Bachmann 37 is WCR livery which is very nice as well.
Your Class 33 has a lovely sound file. I've looked in the description to find out who sound file it was buy nothing is listed. I have 7 Class 33 none of them with sound. Something I need to put right. Can you remember who's and where the file came from please..
Hi sorry for slow reply there esu locksound decoders, i got them done by roads and rails, he done a great job of them and they do sound great, hope this is helpful, thanks for watching. Tom
Great livery. I have a Fragonset on order but seeing yours makes me wonder if I made the right choice.
