The manufacturers favour quads at the moment, as do the developers of flight controller software. @Cecil Williams You think so? I've got a quadcopter with 2216, 4s and 9" props, it's unbelievably really crazy optimised and it weights only 1kg. It flies 1h exactly. i was planning on a low and slow quadcopter hoping for a 40 min flight time. but an hour? oh boy. thanks for the inspiration!!
Is the frame 3D printed? Or we need to buy them? Can you tell me in details?
Thanks for teaching the reason that wires are twisted in pairs--to cancel out the fields they generate!
David!! Excellent work man, as always. This tricopter is brilliant! I really appreciate the slower more efficient machines, especially for AP. Will you add building service? Or just the kit.
Cheers from Mexico!
No building service I'm afraid, just way too much stuff to do and not enough hours :)
@ I see, looks like I better up my soldering skills then! 😅

DAVID FOR THE WIN 😍😍😍
Nicely done, David! I HAVE to get some pointy hands now, couldn't stop laughing when they came out. Great video and top machine :)
Does this tricopter go to Sydney?
Guess it's time. Going to have to build a tri.
Nice to see you back promoting 3 blades and a servo again. Don't be such a stranger.
You might need to swap batteries a few times then :-)
This copter is clearly 1st class, so the answer is no. ;-)
oh man, almost a year, still no new vids, david, you still there? @David Windestal?
Kevin Wang unfortunately not - RCExplorer.se has stopped selling goods and published all the files for open source use now (as of December 2019). That's the end of RCExplorer 😔
I only just found out recently, and I'm still so heckin sad 😩
@@orangerc2358 oh, I didn't know, ah man, welp, I hope he's well
dude your content is sweet come back!
This is such a fun and interesting video that I watched the whole thing even though I have no intention of building a tricopter. LOL!
Very good video!
you explained alot better then other tutorials I have seen
You always build the best tri copters I've seen on youtube! What's the range like? How much less time you'd get if using FPV? Keep up the awesome work!
