O my! ..that pie looks delicious.😋 Michelle, ...you probably would be a success if you opened up your own pie shop and serve all the different kind of pies you have experienced in your travels. Call it: Michelle's World of Pie's. 😜
Thanks for another great video! I love seeing the places you visit, but most of all, the interaction between you and Michelle! You never fail to put a smile on my face.😃
Thanks for the great video. Always fun to see where you go and what you see. But the best part...you always make us both laugh a lot. You're a lot of fun. And nope, we want to go no smaller than we are. We are in a Grand Design Imagine 2600RB, 26 feet on the trailer, overall 29.8 ft hitch to bumper. It's perfect for us. The big selling point is the RB part, rear bathroom that igoe all the way across the width of the trailer with a really nice big shower and really big vanity. We love it. Oh and we have driven past Chiraco Summit about a thousand times, never went into the Patton Museum, but we're thinking we will do that next time. Thanks for showing that. Big Bear is so beautiful, it was really nice to see it again.
I want the truck chasis with the box camper on the back. Or maybe even the tent rack set up over the box. Plenty of room. 😁 I'm so glad Wanda gets to come along these adventures. Amanda is so happy to see the history Channel. Loved seeing all the different ideas at the van show.
The Teddy Bear is great, I lived in BBL and worked at the zoo for years. Hope you enjoyed the Village and the Lake it’s a wonderful little mountain town.
I have to agree with Michelle - no smaller! Frankly, and I realize you are testing for Gretch, but I'm amazed you've made that unit work for as long as you have! Our first RV was a RPod travel trailer, and now we have a 28-ft Lance trailer - could not full time in neither of those. But, to each his own. Van life is all the rage now, but not for me/us.
😂 no worries there, I don’t want to go smaller either. It was just a joke and Michelle knows better. We have both gotten very used to the current 24’ Class B.
We stopped at General Patton museum on our way back from Iowa but did not go in as it was a holiday & closed darn it! Thank you for sharing what we missed!👍😎
Safe travels! I did some video at the Van Gogh immersive exhibit so if you see any like it in your travels just an FYI. They are planning on getting Monet in the future and then the King Tut is also touring. Pretty amazing….took about an hour.
I love how happy Michelle is when she gets her pie, esp her favorite pie! That red velvet cake in the display cabinet looked absolutely stunning and delicious 🤤
YABBA DABBA DO… 💜 Big Bear 🐻! YIKERS…You even hit the fog. That is not pleasant, driving thru the thick fog. At times it is so heavy, you can’t see the dividing line on the highway. Quite terrifying actually. The 🌈 over the lake was beautiful to see, wasn’t it? Big Bear and Snow Valley are the two ski resorts where our family learned to snow ski. We have great memories up there. So sorry we missed you, Brian and Michelle! 😢 But there is always tomorrow. 😊. And those pies looked absolutely scrumptious! 😋
Love your channel. You guys are really cool people. Btw, absolutely love your ending song. Truly sets the mood for a well done day. Plz never change it.
Another great video! We really really like the Grech model you have compared to our 2019 ERA. So I know what your points are with quality. Also the stops you two make are spot on to our interests as well. I'll keep the 🥧's quiet so my wife doesn't hear 😍 lol. Safe travels and can't wait for the next video.
Growing up in Anaheim California I'd been to Big Bear many times for October fest. So, nice to see it again. We are so looking forward to exploring California soon. Thank you for sharing all the van's. But just like Michelle said, I refuse to go smaller. LOL🤣 We are in the "Vinnie" mode in our 32ft MH "BettyDon" (original owners names) I'm excited to see what is next for you two. 😉🤗
LOVED the General Patton Museum! So interesting! Thanks for taking the time to explain and show it. As usual, your music was amazing! Also enjoyed the van expo. So interesting to see the similarities but small differences that really matter. 🙂🥰
Enjoyed the pie , I mean video today! We’re going to be in Palm Springs in January and are looking forward to Sherman’s Deli! I may actually try the gluten free brownie, too! We stayed at the free campground behind the General Patton museum a few years ago. It was a very pleasant, quiet stay. It was one of the super bloom springs. It is close to Joshua Tree NP.
Great video and tours. I learned a lot about Patton and where to stay in AZ. We have family there but it's nice to see the sights too. I've decided I'm going out to Palm Springs to try Sherman's Deli for that pie! One of these days that is... LOL. Now that the weather is a bit cooler and before 2023 I hope. Loved the Big Bear RV expo. So many things to see. When I see Big Bear Lake it reminds me of our friend that loaned out his airplane to a friend who crashed it into that lake. No major injuries and they're still friends...without a plane. There were 3 teenage boys in the plane. So...due to the elevation and weight the plane wouldn't climb on take off. Ergo...they now own hot air balloons.
Oh wow that’s an incredible story about your friend and the plane. Thank goodness no one was injured. If ya make it to Sherman’s Deli, have a peace of pie for me! 🧡🤓
@@LivinRVision I will think of you as I indulge in the best pie ever! Thanks. My husband is a pilot and also flew that plane prior to the crash. He was invited along that day. He had a gut feeling to not accept. THANK GOD he listened to his gut!
P.S. Big Bear holds many many memories for our family & Teddy Bear for breakfast was delicious when we were there! Fishing, paddle boat, snow tubing, so fun & yes Michelle we could live here too! Sorry we couldn't make this trip to meet you! Shelley xx
Nice and warm in Palm Springs I hope. We finally got a couple inches of rain here and 40 degrees. We are getting ret to go for Texas. Enjoy your pie at the deli. 😎🤓🥸🚐
I was planning to go to the expo, but my Honda Element’s alternator went belly up. Wished I could have met you….I am planning on buying a van next year and fixing it up. Love your videos!
You gotta love the close captions that "Gas Betty" is a free app, lol. The Patton museum looked really interesting. Never knew they used that area for training. He was also involved in "Operation Cowboy" during the 2nd WW when they rescued the Lippezanner stallions and brought them to the U.S. You can see them perform near TT Peace River.
Hello again. I knew you were both from Iowa but I didn't realize you had lived in Urbandale and Johnston. My husband worked at Camp Dodge for around 25 yrs.
I have always wanted to go to the Patton Museum. I went to another Patton museum at Ft. Knox. Really worth a stop and you get to see the big “govt. safe” as you pass by. No stopping there😉. I am wondering just how much you use your bikes.
It wasn’t on our route when we left Albuquerque to head towards our destination of Palm Springs. Maybe we can get there another time we’re in the state.
Wow, both pieces of pie looked amazing. I would love to know the brand of your purse from the Van show. I love those sling bags I liked the large strap.
We checked out a few Grech models in Denver today and chatted about you two cool folks. Was wondering how much actual cooking you do in the rig? We love so much about the Strada Ion but the wet bath and the narrow hall in front of the stove would be a rough adjustment (Sprinter based Class C now). Thanks for sharing!
Aww thanks! As far as cooking, we have cooked and have shown it a few times but that’s something that we don’t keep showing as we don’t like to do too much of the same things over and over in our videos, we already repeat some things 😂 We eat lunch every single day during the week in the van during our work days because we never go anywhere during that time. The hallway and bath works fine and we’re sure there would be others that it would not. We are not that tall but if we were bigger it would make it tougher.
Stick to your guns Michelle, no smaller!! 😁 I’ve got your back 👍😁. I just bought a Class B+ (I never knew there was a B+) Born Free model. I can’t wait to take it out 😁 safe travels!!
That's really saying something if the quality of Grech is better than Airstream. Airstream seemed to have the best quality for RV's of their price range. (I'm sure there are higher quality at much higher price points). I do feel like Grech is hitting it out of the part these first few years on the market. I'm interested to see if their quality goes down time passes.
Welcome to our channel! 🧡😊🤓 We never know until it gets closer to the time to decide. When you see us starting to head west be sure to reach out via email or private message through our FB or IG and we will try to give you a better guess on timeframe. We’d love to meet you! 🧡
How did you find the casino in Glendale? I only see it in iOverlander and the reviews are mixed on whether you can stay. Did you call them? Just figure you’d give it a try?
I just used Google maps and searched for Casinos in that area and it showed up. So then we always call first regardless of what reviews may say, just in case they have changed since the last review. With Casinos, you always want to ask because sometimes you have to go inside and check in with security.
Not here we did not but we have seen them before. We’ll have to look again when we get to the Tampa show in January. Speaking of, we plan to have a Meet & Greet there at the Grech RV booth this year.
Seems Airstream has gone quantity Ive quality now days. It’s disappointing but nice to know companies like Gretchen are putting quality first. Wonder how the pricing compares between Airstream & Gretchen. Can’t seem to find the Gretchen pricing w similar comparisons.
Comparable models are a little higher than the Grech. Quality seems to be less as well. Bathroom is smaller and not as much amp hours with their lithium Ion battery setup.
I look forward all week for your videos. Safe travels...
Another great Saturday morning with B&M! Thanks guys! You really make us want to hit the road! Dang!!
I like how you integrate the song to close out your videos.
Very nice holiday trip!
Thank you for the History lesson. I always enjoy your history facts with your episodes. 🤗

Would love to see those stallions.
Hello again. I knew you were both from Iowa but I didn't realize you had lived in Urbandale and Johnston. My husband worked at Camp Dodge for around 25 yrs.
There is free boon docking behind the George S Patton Museum. We stayed there a couple of years ago.
We go to Palm springs every July, so I will have to check out that deli.
Very interesting..

We haven’t had a chance lately to use them much. We’re either working or driving to get pie, lol. 😉
Yes add re ta go hat and shirt to your swag I would order them 🌹🌹👍
They should be there. 👍🏻
Be careful of NM Chile! I get mine on the side. The Range cafe is yummy!
Where are the Ret to Go shirts? :) Safe travels!
On our website, livinrvision.com go to LRV Swag and it should take you to the apparel. 😊🤓
FYI, the rear of the Patton Museum is a Harvest Host. Check Chiraco Summit.
Surprised you didn’t go to Pie Town, NM? We are headed there now.

The best in the desert for Mexican food is "El Ranchito" they have several locations throughout Palm Springs and Palm Desert
We’ll have to try that the next time we’re back. 😋

It’s a Kedzie. I believe it is also in our Amazon store from our website. LivinRVision.com

I’m sure Gretch is an quality van but most people can’t afford $250 thousand to spend when they can get into something for half that price!
That’s exactly right and we have made that point a few times! You do get what you pay for though, just like anything else.
Crazy what they can do with vans these days. But still not for me. Too small. :)
You get what you pay for. Sometimes price is paramont.

Do you guys, or the RV crowd ever alter travel plans and choose one location or State over another because of the fuel prices?
No, we just go where we want to. We’re on a mission to see most of our country while we still can.
