As the Yachts For Sale UA-cam channel increases in size and popularity I am being asked by more and more colleagues to feature their yachts. I was particularly pleased to be invited to show you "Saspa", since she is a wonderful example of a Sanlorenzo SD92. I haven't featured Sanlorenzo much on this channel, so this one is a first!
Love the 'other than normal' colour scheme the owner chose for his yacht. SL is an outstanding brand combining all the best of Italian design and build quality. Loved the drone shadow in the first shot.
Yeah! We got to see everything. Thank you so much! It is very well appointed for only 92'.
Very elegant interiors. Finally an owner with taste.
Pocket super yacht! Amazing how much they've managed to fit in.
A pocket superyacht is usually a high-price high-spec yacht under 24m (78.7 feet), e.g. Sherpa XL.
@@darthkek1953 I didn't realise that was an official term - I just made it up.
Hi David. I'm a fan of RPH leaving the main deck for client use. Lovely hull colour. Interior is clinical white. Great walkthrough video tour thanks 😊 stay safe 🙏
Bravo! Well done, Sanlorenzo, Captain Mario and crew! What a lovely marvel! Truly a superstar pocket superyacht indeed. Immaculately maintained and looked after too.
Great viewing! Supersmooth video and clever editing. Another masterclass in walkthroughs.
Not as throrough as Nick at Aquaholics mind you.
I must say the new sx112 I believe that's the length is supremely more spacious! This model has sacrificed to much space for saloon seating and dining! The sx112 is a stunning stunning machine and layout! When you step aboard a vessel larger than 90 feet you want to feel that length and beam in those areas! The sx112 has a huge aft saloon and a forward huge dining area with comfy lounge seating as well! Then you go upstairs to and enclosed helm BUT it all opens up from glass dropping into the super structure and aft doors open so you have a full fly bridge as well! I believe any yacht under 120 feet does not need main deck master it just takes up to much room and steels square meters from main deck! You only sleep in bed you still get a stunning view from lower deck master with big windows and have never really understood main deck masters in this size and range of yachts! Sunseeker azimut are same! A perfect example is the sunseeker 28m! No main deck master and the saloon and dining is huge and what you expect from this size range! I also believe it's one of there most popular models ever! Now they have the 95 with main deck master and the saloon just does not feel big enough for 95 feet! I love the sl78 and the sl86 but not the larger sl's! Still is a beautiful vessel but dont like the all white finish that they seem to be ordered in a lot! But sanlorenzo are definitely up top in quality and fit and finish! You had a sunseeker 28m David for sale a while ago! If this did not have main deck master it would be a stunning machine with huge living space over sleeping space to look at the same view just lower! If people are to lazy to walk down a few steps for such a cost on living space I just don't understand that! Beautiful video as always thanks David happy sailing all⚓🛥!
😯 what a fantastic yacht! If I was in the market, this would certainly be of interest!
Excellent video guys, very well done. I’m sold.
SanLorenzo is a great shipyard. Lots of models to discover, specially the SX line 76, 88 and 112.
Excellent tour! Thank You
The first four seconds were such a tease! I was hoping that was the yacht. ;)
Nice boat! Thanks David, great video.
The perfect yacht for the perfect price. Stunning design, intelligent layout.
If anyone's interested: I have 2 healthy kidneys.
To fully enjoy this yacht however, I’d kindly suggest you keep at least one of the two 😉
" I have 2 healthy kidneys."
And I have a tin of fava beans.
The raised piolt house is a ingenious idea. I've never seen it before.
It is !
Very common in most sporting yachts of this size , such as the Pearl , and Sunseeker 90'-95's . Which are both beautiful .
It's probably the most efficient use of space, with the least tradeoffs for this size of Yacht.
I'm amazed at the state of this yacht , as well as the features for it's age , well ahead of it's time .
Always appreciate your video walkthroughs. You are the only guy I know that could make an inflatable kayak sound sexy! LOL Do sea hours count significantly to the selling price of a yacht or is it more the age and condition?
Hours count significantly especially for certain engine brands. A KaMeWa system for example is massively expensive to replace, but even just to work on for routine maintenance costs quite a chunk of change. These are the jet drive system and the propulsion blades inside frequently wear out, chip, or crack. MAN engines have a better reputation so those don't really have people freaking out, but higher hours, especially if it was a yacht that was pushed hard, usually means cylinder resleeving. Very expensive. Caterpillar engines are the easiest to repair and usually a top choice for true explorer yachts because the parts are readily available the world over and other brands can be used on them so its better for those people going to the far flung places. Plus they last forever and can be pushed hard. Detroit Diesels are usually all replaced by now. MTU makes some significantly robust engines but maintenance on them must be adhered too religiously in order to maintain the warranty, but they will extend warranties on well maintained engines. Volvo Penta makes good engines, but hours on them really scare people because they have a tendency toward pump failures after about 1100 miles. And these are usually installed in smaller yachts with no engineer on board. So either you have a captain or deckhand with engineer experience or you do it yourself in the middle of the ocean, or you do it pre-emptive amd that is very costly. YanMar and Cummins are usually found on sail boats and catamarans are very efficient and robust. Cummins though can be difficult to get parts for. Higher hours scares people because of that and they are kind of hit and miss in regards to quality. YanMar is excellent though. One thing that yacht makers will do is put too small of an engine system in the yacht, in order to make the fuel usage more attractive, they'll put in smaller engines and tell you to cruise at 1800 rpm and that might get you 8-10 knots. The issue is that the engines are stressed and doing heavy cycling. In that case, high miles doesn't matter much because the engine is being pushed too hard. So even low hours is bad and causing premature failure. Always consult a marine mechanic about the appropriate engines for the yacht. The appearance also matters. An engine covered in soot, grease, exhaust blow by, or is dirty will make most buyers worry the engines weren't maintained. Especially when you can hire a yacht management company to come in and take care of all that for you, or hire dockwalkers to come in amd clean up the engines. A free lunch and €100 usually worked well for our engineer to get the help he needed cleaning and doing maintenance.
Perfect size for island hopping in the Bahamas and South.
Stunning the only thing I would do to her if I had the opportunity to own her is to add abit more black trims here and there but she's very nice indeed.
San Lorenzo is for yachting as Giorgio Armani is for fashion.... The perfection.
A highly functional beauty.
Pick your ports in luxury exorbance.
That’s a nice yacht for the price.
Are there a few more Sailing Yacht walkthroughs coming soon ? How is your research in this Feild going? I have watched the Child of LIR Video like 5 times over the last 6 months. Makes me miss Sailing EVERY TIME. Freedom personified, Perfection!
Next week! "VARSOVIE" - an absolutely beautiful Swan 100'.
Amazing 😁, I can't wait. Love your production styles and content, excited to see the exquisite build quality from Nautors Swan.
Like always, awesome vid!👏👏
What’s the super yacht at start of the video?
Hey, you're on 5 STAR 😊
Though I find the design a little dull (It seems a yacht from the 70s that was refurbished), the space is very well distributed (it seems functional and comfortable). I'd probably give it a 7 out of 10...
what % of the final sale do the brokers typically get for this type of boat?
Where is that city? Beautiful!!
Nice yacht!
We usually speak of 'Mega-Yachts' and 'Giga-Yachts'. What about 'Terra-Yachts' and 'Kilo-Yachts'?
🤓🤪
I've never seen a Sanlorenzo Luxury Yacht, all of there yacht that I've seen on UA-cam which isn't a lot, were comparable to a low or high end Bed and Breakfast type of decor with the type of materials used for the interior, sort of a yacht for the low end millionaires out there.
There is a price range for everyone, don't get me wrong I can't afford a canoe.
I compare yachts to hotels, and I hate when people use the word luxury so liberally, to the point were the word no longer has its original meaning.
To me this yacht is a comfortable average looking yacht, geared towards the family functional durable usage, not worried about damaging anything.
David, I did enjoy the video walkthrough.
Nice yacht & an overall nice video, but I have to say that some of the camera movements were a little too quick, giving me a slight headache.
Very nice yacht!
Only i didnt like the new cinematic style of showing the interior and cabins. Your old style i liked better.
Interior looks like it’s DNA is from a budget business hotel.
Are those two MAN engine stage 5? Meaning very clean engines
Hi Dylan, to be honest I have no idea. I can certainly find out though.
Hi Dylan...no. MAN introduced stage 5 engines at a later date to comply with EU emission standards.
@@Yachtsforsaleblog oh don’t worry! My dad owns a cargo ship that sails on the Rhein (river) and we are going to buy some new engines, exactly these probably! Funny xd. Now we have two 1200 horse power MTU engines, also great engines!
@@Yachtsforsaleblog although we try to maintain our ship as a yacht I would rather have an actual yacht🤣
@@Yachtsforsaleblog oh I see, thanks 🙌
👍😎
Personally I like the Idea that the owners have stripped out their belongings, leaving space for the new owners to add their own personality.. Also its nice to get a peek at the crew quarters and engines. "Happy Crew. Happy Ship" the only thing I didn't like and I'm being picky ...... no windows in the galley.
Is it registered in London if so most unusual 😂😂❤️
Can I pay on instalments ?
Yes, 50% up front, the rest... NOW!
I think the interior needs color. Very monochromatic.
first. 👌
Lotsa' yacht for the $$
O exterior do barco e bom, porém a decoração está muito aquém do POTENCIAL do barco. 🇧🇷
Looks like a hospital waiting room inside.
UNDER 3 MILLION? this is actually not even that much out of reach!
Jesus H. Christ, UA-cam is really bloody aggressive with the ads all of a sudden. I love your videos David, but I'm not sitting through a fucking two-minute ad for shit I'll never care about first.
I will talk to the boss (my wife) , this ship can Be my next home . Hope she will agree to sell Our House
you have a chance, if you don't tell her what is the difference in costs of running a yacht vs owning a house..
There is one word for the main deck styling and decor, bland.
Nice boat but the interiors are a bit plain.
OMG, I’ve heard this type of interior design described as modern Euro-Trash office building. Just cold and lifeless.
Wood panelling and ornate features are not everybody's taste, I prefer the Ikea look.
Sorry, but princess, and others, smoke this boat
I normally like Sanlorenzo yachts, but I gotta say...this boat is very generic looking. I get that it's a smaller yacht, however everything about this boat makes it seem like a 78ft yacht. I am sure some people will love it,but I am not one of them. Not that my opinion matters at all.
Too bad it's UK vat paid, makes it more expensive for EU buyers now
If this was your boat you’ld be the talk of the town-but not in a good way. You sure this boat wasn’t built by IKEA?
I hope it came with clear instructions for assembly. ;-)
Maybe add som colour
Some
Did nobody think to employ an interior designer?
Bleach!
Hi Barry, the owner has stripped everything so that the yacht is ready for sale. I think a little personal belongings here and there and some coloured soft furnishing would make a huge difference.
They did. Mr. Clean.
IKEA fit out.
Great yacht David bang for buck, but it does need a refit as the clinical look is well dated. For a brand name design is everything when building a yacht and a great interior is of paramount importance to complement the curves and character of the sailing vessel. Nowadays.
Too boxy, way too much white is used in this boat and not many windows. Actually, I felt a little claustrophobic watching this video! This boat gets a thumbs down from me!
At my age I prefer not to be reminded of hospitals.
Looks like a hospital waiting room inside.
