There's little touches to this that make it even creepier and it's low-key brilliant:
Mr Blobby's voice is a lot deeper than it is in the show (it always sounded unsettling, but was never that demonic), the lighting is grimy and like something out of a snuff film, the kids all look dead-eyed (doubt that was acting) and the footage randomly slows down in a few bits where Blobby attacks someone. Bonus points for the scene where it looks like the kids are performing a demonic ritual at 0:47
Add that with the fact that this character wasn't supposed to be for kids initially and you just know the people who made this had the sole motivation of "let's make this as cursed as possible, it'll be hilarious."

There should be a horror movie made where there is an unseen threat taking people in an old neighborhood. There are small, obscure Mr Blobby references throughout the movie. Then, at the climax of the movie, when the main characters get taken, it is revealed the satanic creature is Mr Blobby, back for revenge. It is not revealed that it is Mr Blobby in ANY of the marketing, so when he appears as a terrifying creature in the film, it is a genuine surprise. The worst part is, at the end of the film, Mr Blobby is not dead, and the song played over the credits is this one.
