They aren't trying to sound like the "Studio Version", never have and would be quiet the bore if they did. No two Stones shows are exactly alike. The setlist may be the same here and there, but the licks Keef and Ronnie play are never played exactly the same way each time. Its music for the moment, live, quiet a lot of improvsation going on, not Grateful Dead improv where they don't even have a setlist, but still very much flying by the seat of your pants.

The greatest rock and roll band there is, ever was, and ever will be. No group will ever match the career longevity these guys have had, create the legends they have, match the influence they’ve had, or produce as many incredible songs and albums as they have. I was at this show, I’ve seen them six times since 1989, and they amazed me the other night. People who think they’re too old to be on stage haven’t seen them play. I guarantee nobody who saw this show is saying that!

Keith and Steve J at smiling back and forth is worth all the rest. It ain't Charlie but he's keeping the beat down, holding the band together. Probably why Charlie picked him.

There is already talk of a possible 60th anniversary tour next year, 2022 into mid 2023 - which at that time Jagger would be 80, Keith at 79 years old. Amazing.
Well, I am obviously only one who feels this way, but I have watched several videos of the first two tour dates and it looks like Keith and Ronnie are just going through the motions. @@metallion0738 Well, you should hear that. I don't. But it happens with more songs, also in the past. Ronnie's tribute to the band has been minimal after his first tour with the Stones from 1975 till 1977. He became a junkie and an alcoholic afterwards and sometimes couldn't play at all.
