  • This webinar will build on the information shared and skills gained during the CCA Executive Series on Anti-Racism for Behavioral Health Executives. During this session participants will learn about the components of a racially just organization; the role of leadership in facilitating organizational change for racial justice; barriers to enacting anti-racist organizational change; and the necessary steps to building a racially just organization. Additional topics will include the history of racism in the United States, how leaders set the tone for racial justice work in organizations, common missteps made by leadership when engaging organizations in racial justice-focused organizational change, and different exercises and activities that leaders can implement around building a racially just organization. Participants will leave the webinar with a greater understanding of the complexities surrounding working towards a racially just organization but will also be provided concrete action steps to get the process started or to continue already in-progress organizational change processes.
