I had to pull out on the koba bust cuz something came up and they are holding my $1000 down payment until someone buys the bust now which is crazy disappointing.They said its because it was already getting made

The whole point of deposits is that they're a non-refundable commitment to buy. It's a commitment you make in exchange for them guaranteeing you a piece. That's how deposits work in every industry. To have them even consider giving you a refund is a great thing because most places won't. It's your choice if you change your mind. I've lost a lot of deposits due to change of mind and never questioned them because I understood that deposits are non-refundable and it's on me if I change my mind down the road. It's why it's best not to put down a preorder deposit unless you're absolutely certain the piece is what you want and instead just wait until they hit retail. They were rugby to do that as they're expensive pieces for them to produce and are made to order.
