- Mr Carpy Mark Pitchers takes on Challenge number 13 at East Delph Lakes. The task is to catch 100lb of fish and included in that total must be a common a mirror and a ghost carp. I think regardless of catching a ghostie that was a brilliant watch, really enjoyed that, well done mark that deserves to keep the beard.

Mark, can I suggest you try the Tesco dark chocolate covered ginger cookies I think they're called. They make the border ones seem like a cheap home brand. You have to break them in half before dunking them, and the tea soaks into the fiery ginger biscuit. Thank me later.

well in mark another great challenge and hard work nearly payed off no ghostie but 7 fish mid November and bit over the 100lb proper result considering cannot wait for next one. fun watch fox hurry up with challenge 14

Mark always get's bites after 15 minutes. If he doesn't catch a carp in 20 minutes, he should pack up then unpack again, recast then catch another fish in the next 15 minutes.
johnbrown 60 Hi John, I was casting single hookbaits to feeding fish, so in these situations bites often come very quickly, in fact I think all the fish I caught came within 10-15mins after positioning a rig in the right place.. Oh, and the go-pro had been on the my head for some time, you never know what we may catch on camera..
johnbrown 60 in the past I have actually hit a carp on the way down with a marker set up then on the retrieve have one swim into the braid somehow get tangled and actually playing it for 5 minutes I started to panic I would reel in a carp on a marker rod with no net set up so strange things do happen John but only has it happened once. Stranger things happen

Loving "The Challenge" great session and well done with getting the 100lb weight. Unlucky not to pass with a ghostie though. But lets be honest, it would only take around a week to grow that stubble back, hardly a beard! lol

Great to see you at East Delph my local pond? every time I go I manage to catch and when the current owner (James) took over the lake I was the first angler to catch 2x 20ilb in on session on the same lake you are fishing and went on to finish the session with a total of 6 carp might catch up with you at East Delph.
At 42.14 it just shows that marks casing is on point😂

Mark, any reason for using a ciggy lighter to fire up your stove? You do know that there's a lighter switch on the stove itself? Or is using the built in igniter not carpy enough?

Hi Marc I've used and got the pop up weights but since run out of the elastic you i.e. To pin it on the line and last time I look or asked about it I was told the don't do it separately and would need to buy a whole set again and I know it's not a issue for yourself but what would you improvise with or do you know if fix are now selling it on its own ?

Mark was using 23lb Exorcet which is 0.40 diameter.
my fox black and oragne hoodie was so nice but my mom was washing it and after it was totaly changed it was smaller not flexible and my mom did nothing wrong
