My wife loves this RV. I am glad we waited one year for the fresh updates this year for this RV. We plan to purchase this one at the Tampa RV Show in January.
I love the mention about taking out furniture, because my 1st thought was scrapping the passenger side sofa for the kitty zone, and making the dining area the sewing/art nook. I would have agreed on the reclining sofa being taken out (as more supplies storage), but it's the best spot for tv viewing. 😋
I absolutely love this kitchen. Incredibly well thought out, spacious, and smart. Lots of counter space and room to cook and prep without playing "musical surfaces," swapping things around and across to the dining table just to put your meal together.
I completely agree with getting rid of the upper storage cabinet above the couch and instead put larger windows in. Especially since that is on the camp side. It would also be cool as an option to delete the campside couch and replace it with a desk. It would be an option I'd pay extra for. I love this new decor! Probably my favorite decor so far in any Alliance product yet.
This is so good that I'm going to watch it again. (I was making lunches while listening. Need to sit down with a cuppa and really pay attention. Love the decor.) 😊🇨🇦👍🖖
I love the Alliance brand, but I would be curious if people would rather have the access panel hidden behind a cabinet door. I think it would look a lot better and decrease the chances of a kid playing with the switches. I really like the size and looks of the shower. Thanks for taking the time and effort to show the road mode.
Just saw the Video with Big Trucks guy, Matt and you! What a great way for us to start our day! Normally we watch the day of but we were traveling and just saw it this morning! What a fun video and it's easy to imagine the amount of "unpublishable" content while the three of you are together. Again, sorry we were late to the party but thanks, we needed that laugh!
@7:29 I love the window coverage, and I agree that the visual flow is disrupted by the storage above the sofa. I'd hate to give up storage, but I but as someone with diminutive stature, I'd have to crawl onto the sofa to reach it. Not a fan. I'd sacrifice the storage for the view.
We walked through this one (or darn close to it) at Hershey. It’s a beautiful beast for sure. Storage is preferred over windows in our case. I like the new format of this video with the specs sprinkled in as you’re describing it. Nicely done. Thanks for doing all you do Nerd! 😊
No I prefer the overhead storage it's a separate room it doesn't matter about the windows. I think most women would agree with me. Never enough storage
Wow, That's a winner! Sometimes I tire of seeing the same old 5th wheels. THIS is one of a kind and I REALLY like it. Thanks for showing it to us today!
Thank you so much for showing the ups and downs of this trailer. I love your jokes and honesty. I will say that this is a pretty neat design. I bet it will sell well.
It reminds me of a Durango 381REF. I love that Alliance doesn’t use frameless windows. I think I would ditch the overhead storage for the view. Ty Josh!
Love everything about this RV. The only thing always makes me cringe is the window behind the stove. I love having windows but put them on each side of the stove and a backsplash right behind the stove, because even water splashing on the window you will always have to be cleaning. Please put a backsplash. But this RV is amazing ! ❤
This one's practically perfect, we'll take it! Since it only costs a paradigm we can even afford a nice truck to pull it with! If we were to nitpick a few things, we would love it even more if it had one of those smart sinks and a cup rinser as well as washer/dryer hookups, but as you say, that's looking for trouble with a map and glasses. Thanks for building our RV Jeremiah, I hope you cleaned up after your lunch so we don't have to when we buy this one. Thanks for the tour, Uncle Josh!
Too big for me, but man, that's a nice RV. I may be off here, but the wife and I really don't care for these RVs with 'max' windows. If I want to see outside, I go outside which is our reason for camping. When inside, we always have blinds drawn shut for privacy. We've even went to reflective sheets over most windows to maximize heating/cooling efficiency. Now if I wanted windows, this would be a close second to many of those View travel trailer lineup. Of course, the View lineup isn't the quality or cost of this RV. LIKE UNC always says, it's push and pull
Good looking RV. Glad to see they actually used PEX all the way up to the faucets instead of using different standards just fitted onto each other, so they'll be more likely to leak after 2 years of being in a "mobile earthquake" as you roll on down the road. Price is surprisingly decent too. I think they have a winner here.
We totally agree ditch that storage over the love seat, I mean in order to get to it you have to stand on the love seat...not a good design. Otherwise really nice layout thanks Uncle Josh
That campside slide with the love seat needs to have a desk in it. Makes the overhead storage make more sense, and makes this camper a remote work option, or full-time living option for me and the dogs (once I find a place for the wife, kids and cats to live.)
Love this! The huge living space is great. The the Tv on the back wall is great. The l sofa is great. The windows all over is great. The table on the door side is great. The storge is great. The bathroom is great. The bedroom is great. Thank you josh!
I'll take a front bathroom because of the room, a rear kitchen, then the living room in the middle. That to me makes it feel like home and gives the most room.
Oh if I only had a dually. A friend of mine had a stock 2008 Denali 5th wheel. It looked like a residential kitchen inside. Real wood cabinetry, in what appeared to be an oak table, etc. I wish more campers looked more residential in that way.
1st, I like the new editing and animations. This is a beautiful RV. The only thing I see missing is washer dryer prep. That’s a deal breaker for me. Alliance is coming on strong though! Great video! #Nerdherd
I love the central vac in my current trailer, but that's not a deal breaker. My biggest pet peeve is the lack of entry closet in most RVs. Someplace for shoes, jackets, leashes, paw towel, etc.
Outdoors rv put a valance and window shade over the entry door. That way, you can close the shade from inside. While others put a shade for that door, put it in the door window. So you have to open the door and go outside to close the shade.
Love that you have a new assistant to take some of the editing load off your plate. Small suggestion, loose the low background loop music. For me, who is very easily SQUIRREL🐿 distracted, it makes it hard to focus. Also, when Josh is talking about how quiet an air conditioner is you can't actually hear the air conditioner. Now about this rig, love the separation of space. I would take both hide-a-beds out and put in desks for the missus and me. Is it washer/dryer prepped in the front closet?
Looks cool, seems good built, even better than Brinkley, but less than DRV and Luxe and waaaay less than New Horizons of course. Alliance seems to take care of the customers
Being all the way on the tail of the camper the way the average campsite would be set up I believe the window situation would be a non issue and the storage for bedding in the room you might need it would be better use of space
RV Nerderism #37: That's an interesting concept. I'm not sure I'm totally behind it, but it seems reasonable depending on your situation. I'm a childless cat (and Newf) lady and my partner and I are going to be looking for a place to live in our retirement. This may just fit the bill.
Hey Josh, my wife and I really enjoy your videos. I was wondering if you could do a video on truck camper models? We are considering buying one and your critique would be very valuable. Thank you much!
You have been saying to not sleep or sit down in the slide when retracted in many of your videos. Can you give a stand alone video showing the types of mechanisms, stress points, with diagrams and maybe a test to show why this is important. To me it seems that it is a created problem to void a warranty so rv companies can escape fullfilling when they actually messed up building a unit.
Hey Josh, I think this has made me reconsider a Brinkley. 1 question in Hunter's video of this exact model, the control panel is behind a door, and the open cabinet below is wider. Why are they different?
Don't think they sell many of them, only used ones from what I have seen. I do wish they would sell them along with Outdoors RV. Probably the only 2 campers i'd buy due to the quality of them. Airstream is good too but way overpriced.
I love the "L" shaped sofa and the living area as a whole. The pullout storage drawer is great for remotes and movies. Now the shower, 61" great but people when they take a shower turn around in the shower, they do not stay east-west so anything less than say 34" is not so good and 36" width would be better. I hope that is an 80" king. Really cool 5th wheel.
Another incredible $100,000 residential floorplan from Alliance loaded with all of the quality standard features that we wish all other RVs had👍👍👍
This is a winner in my book! If they made a destination trailer in this floor plan, I’d buy it right now!
My wife loves this RV. I am glad we waited one year for the fresh updates this year for this RV. We plan to purchase this one at the Tampa RV Show in January.

@13:05 Love the switch panel. There are things that do best in smart format, and those that don't. I think physical rocker switches are the way to go.
This is so good that I'm going to watch it again. (I was making lunches while listening. Need to sit down with a cuppa and really pay attention. Love the decor.) 😊🇨🇦👍🖖
Love the windows the way they are 🎉
I have viewed hundreds of RVs both online and in person and this is by far in my top two favorites
It's nice to see how the other half lives occasionally. This is a very sweet rig. Good job as always, Josh.

One of our three favorite 5th wheel RVs. The new decor is nice 👍
I totally love all the windows around the bed

@10:55 I really like the (almost) Shaker style cabinets. My own home is decked out in that style. It's timeless and will always be 'in style'
No I prefer the overhead storage it's a separate room it doesn't matter about the windows. I think most women would agree with me. Never enough storage
I agree

Well said, if I could hit the like sign 100xs for this mention

Washer and dryer prep are on opposite sides in the bedroom closet.
@18:16 I'll see your cat with separation anxiety, and raise you a 120-lb Newfoundland named Stormy who is afraid of storms. 😅
@14:53 I can't believe you didn't mention the space next to the toilet - there is a place for a waste basket!! Is this for real? Heaven!! 😂
😊
Thanks for another thorough review and bonus personal dog & cat story. Cheers, Josh!
Love the kitchen table

So cool! Cameo at the end!
Wow. That is a sharp RV.
1st, I like the new editing and animations.

Also, no central vacuum is always okay because I would put my robot vacuum in there to clean up pet hair every night.

Can you saw how jacks work on the campers and show them going in going in and out!
The camp side slide should have been one large slide and big windows all the way down.
I love my GD because it has switches... forget the touch screen and phone stuff..cars are moving back to switches...
Love this plan! Shower size is awesome! Too much weight for my new 3/4 ton though 😢
Yeah, these are basically 1 ton Dooley country for sure

It’s on my docket of things to do. I had one from about a year or two ago but it needs updating
The window between the dining table and the loveseat should be part of 1 big slide out, not between 2..
#RVNerdHerd 😊 🎉 😊
What about having one long slide from the dining area through to the love seat slide.
Not impossible. Makes closing slides with that sofa a pain though. Half of it has to be taken apart and stacked
Hey Josh, I think this has made me reconsider a Brinkley. 1 question in Hunter's video of this exact model, the control panel is behind a door, and the open cabinet below is wider. Why are they different?
🎉#NerdHerd... I am low tech for controls. I am more manual cleaning.
Yep, me too. 👍
That rear ladder is kind of scary. It stops before the roof line. I would not want to try and climb down without anything to grab.
There is a grab handle on the roof
Lol, on the spec do you mean Height 13'5" and the Width 8'5", nice though and I want one.
I think you made a small error switcheroo with height and width of this unit 🤭🤣
I do prefer the original video graphics.
Can you do a video on the new brinkley g4100?
Just recorded one. It’ll be coming soon
Awesome, thank you @@JoshtheRVNerd
👍👍👍👍👍😁
No, but I will refuse a live aboard (what we are shopping for) that doesn’t have a dishwasher.
I think you may have your height and weight mixed up in the graphic. No way this is only 8.5 feet tall.
and 13 ft wide
@@slamboy66 maaaaaaaybe with the slides out.
Beautiful! But way too big for me.
Did I miss the w/d?
He didn't mention it. It's prepped in the front closet.
Why dont you cover Arctic Fox much?
Don't think they sell many of them, only used ones from what I have seen. I do wish they would sell them along with Outdoors RV. Probably the only 2 campers i'd buy due to the quality of them. Airstream is good too but way overpriced.
Those are built only in Oregon. I live in Michigan. So I don’t get a lot of chance to get over there to record them
Feels like home, built like an RV :?/
Table area (dinesk) and 2 chairs looks cheap.
I love the "L" shaped sofa and the living area as a whole. The pullout storage drawer is great for remotes and movies. 80" long bed yes
