I really like this layout. Front kitchens are great, and the window finally works. I could even see taking the dinette out and just putting in a small desk overlooking the window and a table in front of the couch. I like this, great unit.
I love that big campside window!! This is a fantastic floor plan! And No, we don’t need a tv in the bedroom, it’s nice that it’s an option. Thanks Josh!!
Anytime a manufacturer can get the fridge off the main floor and put it in the slide, you have more room. This is really a great Floorplan thank you Josh!
Wow!!! Amazing TT, for sure! It's at the very top of my list now! I'd want the extra TV, especially if we have grandkids someday! Thank you so much for your videos. You're the best!! 🎉🎉😊😊
@JoshtheRVNerd I ONLY watch YOU UNCLE, JOSH, and you are WELCOME!!! I THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING, YOU ARE #1 and GREAT 👍 !!! I like it and thank God they put a reasonable sized shower, televator superb, big window on camp side, great kitchen layout and the two entry doors in this one congratulations.
We just bought this at the Tampa show. I am so excited to get it. Nothing I don’t love about it and hubby is disappointed in the outside storage, but for me he sacrificed. 😊
HUGE improvement. Love the kitchen, love the rectangular shower. I would personally be willing to sacrifice a bit of bathroom storage to get more bathroom counter space.
I like it!! Yeah, I'd be happy owning that one. Appreciate the "Road Mode" you show. The exterior needs to be pleasing to look at as well, as this one is. Thanks Josh
Interesting getting to see this almost back to back with with the Jayco 2025 Eagle 274FKDS video. It may just be me, but dang the Rockwood looks buttoned up and ready for the dance. It just looks as though more time was spent working on this. The homework is crisp! Sharp looking unit! If we had a bigger (newer) truck Rockwood would absolutely be on the top of our list. I love the R378BH
Nice to see something different in an attempt to solve the issue of neck wrecking! I love the look of the kitchen, the way they've placed the appliances make the most sense to me. I love being able to look out if I'm cooking or doing the dishes. I think the cupboard as you come into the kitchen is great, but it would be nice to have a section of it open at the bottom, for shoes. I'm just deciding which would be my junk drawer. I think the toilet would be better it were angled. I'd rather have a walk through bathroom with a rectangular shower than have a private bathroom and a radius shower. I wouldn't bother with the tv in the bedroom. Everyone has some kind of device lately, and shamefully I'm using 2 right now, I'm watching you on my tablet, and texting family and friends in my phone! The bedroom is really nice, not completely filling the slide is fab for little shelves! Great storage too. #nerdherd #rvnerdherd
I love this layout. I would not need the second tv. The additional outlet on the wall by the couch would be great. Lots of storage and easy access to the bed is awesome. Hard for some to crawl up from the bottom. Love the front kitchen! Very nice!
We had a Rockwood 2608BS, and in cooler weather, the bedroom slide is very chilly. We bought a stand-up heater, and that helped. This is a great floor plan.
This is awesome, I’m always complaining about needing more storage but this one is solid in my book. I even agree that the bathroom linen closet could stand to shrink a little and give a little more counter space. My one note is that I really really hope that when they put in a bigger sofa they absolutely need to keep it cuddle compliant! That could be a regular sofa or a fold away arm rest if it’s a theater seat but please just not a fixed arm rest!
I really like this floor plan. My brain went to rear kitchen layout when I first looked at it. I think they should scrap the booth and make a counter that incorporates the televator and a dining bar that faces that window with counter height seats. Even if they keep the dinette, make it a bigger, televator! Rockwood, there’s room! Make it bigger! This one is really nice. Thanks Josh!
Another great video. Thank you for always showing road mode. It isn't ideal, but definitely doable. We don't need the bedroom tv. The awning is amazing since it covers both doors. I can live without the pass through storage since the have other options that appear to give you easily accessible storage. But all in all, another great job of Rockwood doing Rockwood. We love our 2015 2109s. It made a 2 month trip from Missouri to Alaska in 2023 and the only problem was the lower drawer under the sink came lose.
Watching your videos for a while and was about to ask you if anyone does front kitchens and here you are posting a video with front kitchen trailer! 😄 Thank you Josh!

I do like having two TVs. When the kids were little it was nice because they could play video games and we could watch something different. Now they're grown and the grandkids do that!😁 We don't just camp but travel and visit family so we don't have to have hotels and it's nice to have separate TVs we bundle a bunch of family into our campers and just have a good ol time. In the bathroom, I agree with downsizing the cabinet. I suggest swap the toilet and sink. A table and chairs option would be to my liking over a dinette. Lol. I like the rest of the set up.
Now, I can get behind this floorplan! The only thing that makes me do a little back pedal is the height of a replacement mattress. BTW Josh, Rockwood loves you so much that you are included in their 360° view of this model. There's a head shot of you, outside of the unit, to the right of the televator.
@@JoshtheRVNerd Well, we wound up ordering one at the show. They don't have Azdel, per se, but they DO use composite material in the side walls inside and out. Thanks again for pointing that out! Keep up the great work. My wife and I love your videos!
1) Thank you Rockwood for allowing the nerd 🤓 to show us your quality campers. 2) Professor Nerd 🧑🏫, you tickle my toes and tantalize my taste buds with this one as I salivate over the fact that it checks off just about everything on my list. 3) Question 🙋? Which is heavier, bathrooms or kitchens? Which one is really best to be positioned over the axles? Just curious about the hut hutch weight which is why I asked. 4) So heavy 1/2 or minimum 3/4 Ton towable? 37) Great video Josh. Enjoyed it.
Thanks for the great review, Uncle J. Very nice floor plan. I’d say it’s a close runner up to the 2608. Campside window winner. No fireplace - 2608. Crowded around theater seat due to refrigerator- 2608. Love the floor plan.
The location of the control panel doesn't seem terrible to me but in a very shallow fake cabinet between the window and door would be cool as well. The second screen is nice because sometimes I play UA-cam white noise videos to help me sleep my favorite is black screen thunderstorm
I own a 2024, 2608BS, Like the windows in this one and the rectangular shower. This would be a winner if it had a fireplace as well, but I don't know where you would put it?? Josh, we bought our Rockwood 2608BS, because of "Rockwood doing Rockwood stuff" and you are spot on. The quality from Rockwood is much better imo, than more expensive mfgs. offerings. Nice TT, and another great review from you Sir!! I highly recommend Rockwood to anyone looking for a well-designed and well-built TT or 5th Wheel. You won't be disappointed!! I came from a GD, Imagine & Keystone, Half-Ton, so much happier with this quality from Rockwood.
yeah no real spot for a fireplace in this unless you sacrificed the dinette entirely which is rough TY so much for sharing your experience owning a rockwood!
@@JoshtheRVNerd My wife & I use the fireplace way more than the propane heater in our 2024 Flagstaff 25FKBS. An electric heater is the only thing missing with this model (my pick for our upgrade in a couple of years). It doesn't have to be a fireplace. It could be a simple electric heater under one of the seats in the dinette (or a really small fireplace there). This was a review I requested months ago (I'm sure I wasn't the only one) so thank you, Josh for your honest review.
Huge fan of the door side windows. The front kitchen is great. The storage is great. The slide out is great. The bathroom is good. The bathroom is good. Is this the highest end rock wood camper?
Really like this floor plan! I'd skip the 2nd tv & I'd love an option for a 2-person dining system like a buffet cabinet w/the televator and a table-height side-facing bar w/chairs not stools. I envision the cabinet by the kitchen door for shoe storage with great glee! The drawers under the bed are awesome & love the bathroom setup...so much counter space! A small seat in the shower would be a great addition, maybe a fold down, since the shower size is so awesome. Thanks Josh, great video as always.
I like this one. Solid surface counters and a pantry will pretty much always get a thumbs up. Now give it the anti-lock brakes and it would be darn near perfect for my wants.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this! I was hoping to go with something just a couple feet shorter... If you took the back door out, then there is no closed access except to the stove/sink. I love the entry island bar coming in. They had one years ago with bar stools & bar -very similar and it was our favorite feature. (Owned it 10 years activitly using it) So I wouldn't take that out. Closed road access is a priority. Front kitchen is a priority (coffee maker mandate on our end) Campside window is fantastic. Honestly, I'm back to moving the tv up to improve road mode, shorten by dumping the back door. One smart tv is plenty! (To each their own) Love your tours the best because you include road mode and you know the details like counter top material, slide mechanism, structured with aluminum frame & look for outlets. I'm over these folks who just do it for fun and didn't know anything! They are a waste of time. Appreciate it! Tx
The black dump location is not a deal breaker. But it would be nice if you could get to it easier. When we camp I generally have to dump a couple of times into a portable tote and I use a macerator pump because it’s a cleaner and more controllable experience
I love the televator and wish that Brinkley would do this on the new I series trailer instead of the projector. Instead of the full dinette, I would like to see them use a Euro Dinette like you see on the Coachman Euro motorhome . They killed it with the outside storage and dual gravity steps. Thanks for another great review, and have a great week.
Other than the weight and the tv in the bedroom, this is a nicely laid out camper. I am assuming the outdoor kitchen is on the camp side and hangs off the side. Love the leveling system!
Not too shabby, I'd angle that toilet a bit. I like that kitchen set up. Not a fan of the Dinette but it's not horrible because of the free standing table. Wonder if a bigger TV is a possibility...
I do not need a TV in the bedroom. I like the auto level and 30lb propane tanks. Other than the ladder rating being only 250lb I can't see a thing other than the bath tank drain that need to be fixed. Excellent unit.
Agree heartily with others suggesting: move fridge to door location (fridges in slides don’t cool well and are a liability in colder climates), 86 dinette slide and go with counter/stools (tootsie toaster underneath), and focus on weight reduction overall. Most buyers looking to buy in the 30ft range have a half ton and aren’t prepared to get the tow vehicle necessary to accommodate this payload.
Josh: I have looked at RV s for 20 years. I live full time in mine, that I love. However, this model. Is next to mine that I love. If I need another model and or RV. I would purchase this one. Very very nice. Love the colors too. My current Rv is same layout front bedroom. Rear kitchen.
I want this. It just checks all the boxes even has the options i wanted . Seriously drooling here!! If i could get a decent deal on trading in my 2020 2104s Id be at the dealer NOW!
Wow, this has caught my eye. So glad it doesn’t have the radius shower. I’m wondering when will they add assassin bed slide to these models? This may be the second choice for me if I can’t get what I really want. Thanks Nerd! 🎉
On the entry cabinet on left as you walk into trailer... I would move the drawers next to the entrance door and the doors hiding the shelves to the right where the drawers are now. So just switch them around. WHY? Because it would allow better access to that storage without having to go all the way up into the trailer . So if you want to put flashlights, dog leash, poop bags etc in the drawers, you can lean in and slide a drawer open without having to go all the way up the steps and I to trailer. BTW I am liking what I am seeing so far. Love, live ,love a rear bedroom
Hi Josh. I must say this Rockwood Camper is quite impressive. I like the storage capacity inside the unit and outside. Very nice setup with a dining table, theater seating, and bedroom both on the best of rack and pinion slide outs. Torsion bar suspension is the best. I do agree with you, though, on the sewer connections. I have that issue now with my trailer, and it is inconvenient. Not sure there is much that you can do about it because of the set up. I have elected to go with Campco Revolution sewer connection to solve this problem. Once you get it setup, it will work. Other than that, this is an impressive trailer made by Rockwood. Last...where can I get one of these and when will they be available? As always, thank you for your reviews and comments. 👍
Same bed slide as the 2608BS, and I do put my CPAP on that side shelf by the bed. It's tight, but it does work. I disagree that the 2nd door in bedroom is useless, but that said I rarely use mine. Depends on how you do camping. Road mode in this model isn't as good as the 2608BS, which isn't great, either.
Love this kitchen!! Perfect! However I don’t want any slides. I’d like to see the dinette area to be able to be a bed to fit 6feet person. Or~ put a large loveseat versus dinette that can convert to a bed of at least 5’7 feet. I’d def purchase then if I could get the above.
This trailer has a lot of nice features (eg solid surface countertops, 1800 watt inverter, optional automatic levelling) so I was pleasantly surprised by the sale price. I know you still have a lot of 2025 videos to do but if you could squeeze it in, a video comparing the features of budget vs. mid range vs. pricier TTs would be helpful to understanding the RV market. Seems like even in the short time I've been following RVs, certain features like enclosed underbellies have become standard even on budget models while you can't get away from TFL counters and luan board drawer bottoms without spending a small fortune. Then I see somethg like this.
El Guapo, what’s a plethora? I like the dinette. I’ve owned free standing table and chair setups, and it’s just more to secure before travel. I. The bathroom, with such a giant storage cabinet, I would loose the medicine cabinet. I HATE having to bend my neck to brush my teeth. I hit my head on the medicine cabinet 100’s of times in my Cougar. I love the drawers under the bed, it makes for much more functional storage. Auto leveling is a must have for me now. Once you’ve had it, you can’t go back!😂. All in all, it is a fantastic TT. I would run it! Thank you for another great video Josh!! #Nerdherd
Leave it alone except for the minor changes mentioned. We could be happy in this for snow birding during the winter months. We are a very older couple.
I currently have a 2019 2506S and there are many things wrong with it. This model seems to address all the issues and problems with my current RV and it passes with flying colors! I can easily see living in it.. Hope they give you the option of a table and chairs, I think dinettes are dumb! A holdover from the prehistoric days of RVs. Otherwise, pretty great. Glad the bigger oven was kept and love the bigger 12 volt fridge....so many great things about this camper! Rockwood, you hit it outta the park on this one.
Here are some of the issues my trailer has. When in road mode, the entire back of the trailer is cut off .I cannot use the bed, .even with a footstool. It has to be high enough to accomodate the outdoor kitchen and the weird tray thing for outside storage. I cannot use that darn radius shower. Besides being too small, the large step up into it makes it off limits to this balance challenged lady. There is only one small campside window that is only there to illuminate the kitchen counter, you can't see out of it. The door has a window but it is frosted.. The task lighting in the kitchen is behind you, so whatever you are doing at he counter is immediately thrown into shadow. Bought a small strip of LEDs to solve that. Since I had to sleep in the theater seat it broke down within 3 years. So took it out and bought a daybed to go in the slideout. Nice to finally lay down! I have to squeeze through that tiny bathroom door to use the toilet.. What I liked about that model was the big, bright front kitchen and the private bedroom with a real door. Liked the suspension makes for an amazing towing expperience! So good that when going down the road we didn't even notice we had had a blow out until someone else on the hichway pointed it out. Anyway,, this model addresses all those issues..
If the bathroom were moved to the back (swap with the Bedroom) and the closet allowed at least an 8" tall mattress to slide under it, this would be a great option for those of us that dislike pass-through bathrooms and thin mattresses. But I am going to guess the axle placement may stop that from happening. Kudos to "Rockstaff" for finding a way to have a big camp side window and bigger (non-radius) shower.
Awesome windows. Would be really great with an outside fridge near the back looks like they would could do it. Why doesn’t Rockwood do more outside fridge models? They are a premium brand they should always make room for an outside fridge.
You kind of answered your own question - making room for it. They require more space than I think some folks realize. For instance there's not enough room to put one in the back corner in place of the dresser drawers without needing to change to a short bed since the fridge cavity would need to be deeper than the drawers
I know my thoughts will be the minority- but this is nearly perfect for our needs, I know it’s not for everyone…. We are looking to downgrade from a monster bunkhouse - the size and options here are things we’ve been looking for. We use the dinette mostly for our daughter and dogs (she calls it the snuggle pit 😂). Having the tv at a better angle and easy to use popup plugs is great….but the kitchen is better than most, having a “drop zone” when walking in the door is awesome! Such a no brainer but hardly seen… storage looks great too. The theater seats are fine, but we need actual outlets there - on both sides - if its raining and you are inside, you want those little comforts…. Its just not thought of much outside the PNW, where we camp in the rain a lot. Maybe not perfect, but nothing is…. Live full width bathrooms- bedroom looks good, but would have to see it in person, i doubt we wohld ever use the tv in there. Wardrobe looks good too. Outside hookups definitely need to be in better access points, but electric jacks and level systems - yes! Slide covers for our area, yes! Would miss the outdoor kitchen options but weight wise- it makes sense, and the griddle is still included- so overall I would love to see one in person.
Just saw this one, I'm a little behind! One thing I do not like is the entry door opening into the kitchen. As a mom who raised a large family, everyone coming and going through my workspace would be a serious hazard. Just dreaming here, I wish I could take this floorplan and figure out how to move the dinette toward the kitchen and put chairs on that side of the table vs bench. That would expand the prep/counter space. Then the door on the right of the dining to route traffic away from oven/stove/knives/mixing bowls. (Trust me! Ugh)
Seen another thing. Gate valves. I like gate valves at the discharge point to catch seepage. But if there isn’t gate valves up in the belly. What’s going to keep your valves from freezing when they are totally exposed. This is a major flaw to me.
😂 I love how if you need to use the facilities and you leave the bedroom door open you still have a good angle of that smart TV in the bedroom so you can watch the number one RV reviewer on PooTube while you file paperwork in the office 💩
This floorplan has the potential to be awesome💥but no far more flexible table and chairs, or comfortable sofa “option” for the outdated Denny’s diner booth dinette, and the terrible placement of the 2 headed sewer monster was definitely a bummer😢
Love this unit!!!! The only two things : no garbage space in the kitchen and it would be interesting to see a north south bedroom instead of the slide to save some weight??? Maybe that’s what you said about having to add length to accomplish that. I don’t know, what do you think? Everything else is golden! Thank you 🙏 Josh and thank you Rockwood!!!!! 👍🤩
What is with always having a mirror on the closet doors that face the bed? I do not want to watch myself doing anything while in bed. How about developing a slide to open door to access the clothes inside, but flip a lever and the door swings out to provide the mirror.
Really nice trailer. Too big and heavy for me, but really well laid out. Nicer if water heater was not under awning, and get rid of outside speakers. And solar panels would be better on the awning side rather than where they are. Why? If you camp under trees, you will have the most sun in center of campsite, thus having solar on door side.
I really like this layout. Front kitchens are great, and the window finally works. I could even see taking the dinette out and just putting in a small desk overlooking the window and a table in front of the couch. I like this, great unit.
A desk/dining bar could be great there but not something the factory is offering currently
I love that big campside window!! This is a fantastic floor plan! And No, we don’t need a tv in the bedroom, it’s nice that it’s an option.
Thanks Josh!!
It really does look like someone thought about how to use the space here
I love this floor plan! True all queen is fantastic and auto levelling! Top of the list for us. I would take this trailer as is with all the extras!
It really is a great plan
One TV is all needed, love the storage. The bathroom cabinet is never too big.
Ty
I like the extra space around the theater seats. So far we really like this one!!!
😃
I think they really did a fantastic job with this design! There is SOOO much to like. Might not be for everyone but it’s at the top of my list now
I think we’re all going to be seeing a lot more of these!
Anytime a manufacturer can get the fridge off the main floor and put it in the slide, you have more room. This is really a great Floorplan thank you Josh!
It really makes a difference, doesn’t it?
Love this layout!!
Really like the tank sizes! Way to go Rockwood🎉 More RVs should pay attention to this!!!
Well done!

Wife and I often enjoy very different shoes too
Not a dinette fan. But I like it
Another nice bit: The exterior speakers aren't way the heck up by the top of the camper, they're down where people are. Nice to see that change!
🙌🏻
Fantastic floorplan 👏🏼
I sure like it!
In the bathroom, I agree with downsizing the cabinet. I suggest swap the toilet and sink. A table and chairs option would be to my liking over a dinette. Lol. I like the rest of the set up.
That would make it a little more spacious!
Now, I can get behind this floorplan! The only thing that makes me do a little back pedal is the height of a replacement mattress.
BTW Josh, Rockwood loves you so much that you are included in their 360° view of this model. There's a head shot of you, outside of the unit, to the right of the televator.
Haha yeah people send me a screenshot of that once a week
Love the layout! If it had Azdel I'd be buying one at the Tampa show!
Rockwood has been doing double azdel walls for years
Drop our folks a note at 800-256-5196 and let them get you a quick figure on one perhaps
@@JoshtheRVNerd Great to hear!! We wil be there all week and will take a closer look at this baby.
@@JoshtheRVNerd Well, we wound up ordering one at the show. They don't have Azdel, per se, but they DO use composite material in the side walls inside and out. Thanks again for pointing that out! Keep up the great work. My wife and I love your videos!
Very nice floor plan! I also like what I call the "serving counter" next to the dinette.
Yeah that little extra zone right there is one of the most underrated and good features on this rv
Enjoyed it.
1.) ☺
2.) ...k 😂
3.) Probably kitchens especially once loaded
4.) Not impossible there are some heavy halfs to handle it. More 3/4's for sure
Really like this one. Would be great if they can have one sewer dump. If only I could convince myself having a slide is ok.
Fold down shelf above head in bedroom for cpap machine with outlet/inverter combo would be awesome.
That's a great idea. I'm sure there's a way to make that work!
Thanks for the great review, Uncle J. Very nice floor plan. I’d say it’s a close runner up to the 2608. Campside window winner. No fireplace - 2608. Crowded around theater seat due to refrigerator- 2608. Love the floor plan.
I'm not sure which I like more.. the 2608bs FEELS so much larger inside but I feel like this one might actually be a little more functional..
I agree with your points. Would like to see it in person to really compare. Thanks again for all your reviews and information. Appreciate you.
you bet
The location of the control panel doesn't seem terrible to me but in a very shallow fake cabinet between the window and door would be cool as well. The second screen is nice because sometimes I play UA-cam white noise videos to help me sleep my favorite is black screen thunderstorm
Love this one!! Nice that if the bathroom door is open, you're not looking at the toilet 😉
I know! They really got that right.
I actually like this. Too bad I'm in love with the gulf stream vintage laura Ashly edition.😂❤
Very nice trailer. Thanks guys
TY for taking a look!
Like the two tvs, not a fan of the duel entry doors. Glad they didn't use radius shower, and definitely liking auto leveling
I think it’s great they’re making efforts to avoid radius showers
I own a 2024, 2608BS, Like the windows in this one and the rectangular shower. This would be a winner if it had a fireplace as well, but I don't know where you would put it?? Josh, we bought our Rockwood 2608BS, because of "Rockwood doing Rockwood stuff" and you are spot on. The quality from Rockwood is much better imo, than more expensive mfgs. offerings. Nice TT, and another great review from you Sir!! I highly recommend Rockwood to anyone looking for a well-designed and well-built TT or 5th Wheel. You won't be disappointed!! I came from a GD, Imagine & Keystone, Half-Ton, so much happier with this quality from Rockwood.
yeah no real spot for a fireplace in this unless you sacrificed the dinette entirely which is rough
TY so much for sharing your experience owning a rockwood!
Actually there’s a level above called Signature edition
Really like this floor plan! I'd skip the 2nd tv & I'd love an option for a 2-person dining system like a buffet cabinet w/the televator and a table-height side-facing bar w/chairs not stools. I envision the cabinet by the kitchen door for shoe storage with great glee! The drawers under the bed are awesome & love the bathroom setup...so much counter space! A small seat in the shower would be a great addition, maybe a fold down, since the shower size is so awesome. Thanks Josh, great video as always.
man.. you had me at dining bar
@JoshtheRVNerd maybe I should apply to be a designer!😆
do it!
I like this one. Solid surface counters and a pantry will pretty much always get a thumbs up. Now give it the anti-lock brakes and it would be darn near perfect for my wants.
ooh that could be great
I really like most of the layout, but being able to at least option in a dinette bar would be even better.
Could be cool?
Very nice!! It would be great if the closet by door could have a hanging rod and adjustable shelves.
We will be sure to pass that along!
Front kitchen is a priority (coffee maker mandate on our end)
Campside window is fantastic.
Honestly, I'm back to moving the tv up to improve road mode, shorten by dumping the back door.
One smart tv is plenty! (To each their own)
Love your tours the best because you include road mode and you know the details like counter top material, slide mechanism, structured with aluminum frame & look for outlets. I'm over these folks who just do it for fun and didn't know anything! They are a waste of time. Appreciate it!
Tx
Actively in the market. We'll check your other videos for '25 updated models.
A little shorter and you'd likely land back to something similar to this: ua-cam.com/video/bXkZ4WFJ0kM/v-deo.html
Basically 26ft total
@JoshtheRVNerd thanks
@@JoshtheRVNerd We have seen it and I do love it
I also love the one with no bed side, but the rest is similar. Appreciate the feedback.
I really like that one
Love this model.
Thanks! I think the layout is super functional.
I'm not familiar with which coachmen you referenced. I'll have to look it up
Nice design!!
I like it! :)
Other than the weight and the tv in the bedroom, this is a nicely laid out camper. I am assuming the outdoor kitchen is on the camp side and hangs off the side. Love the leveling system!
It is indeed on the camp side!
Not too shabby, I'd angle that toilet a bit. I like that kitchen set up. Not a fan of the Dinette but it's not horrible because of the free standing table. Wonder if a bigger TV is a possibility...
It sure on the tv.. doubt it it unsure
I LOVE a TV I never have to look at.
Lol
I do not need a TV in the bedroom. I like the auto level and 30lb propane tanks. Other than the ladder rating being only 250lb I can't see a thing other than the bath tank drain that need to be fixed. Excellent unit.
TY Mike! I think it's a solid pick as well!
This is great
😃
I like it. I could take this one home.
We know folks that can assist with that!
Compressor fridges usually keep up pretty fairly in slides. Absorption fridges really struggle for sure
@@JoshtheRVNerddisagree completely. Keep it the way you got it. I have a 3/4 ton with 7.3
Unfortunately, I need to have room for two cpaps in the bedroom. A north/south bed configuration is probably all I can do. Thanks for tour.
Yeah usually you need a N/S setup
Josh: I have looked at RV s for 20 years. I live full time in mine, that I love. However, this model. Is next to mine that I love. If I need another model and or RV. I would purchase this one. Very very nice. Love the colors too. My current Rv is same layout front bedroom. Rear kitchen.
Awesome! Glad you like it!
I think they're really onto something here
Definitely hope they rotate the toilet. But looks great
It’s happening
I want this. It just checks all the boxes even has the options i wanted . Seriously drooling here!! If i could get a decent deal on trading in my 2020 2104s Id be at the dealer NOW!
Our folks can always throw together some figures. if you don't like them, then just say no thanks and you're out nothing
Wow, this has caught my eye. So glad it doesn’t have the radius shower. I’m wondering when will they add assassin bed slide to these models? This may be the second choice for me if I can’t get what I really want.
Thanks Nerd! 🎉
That could work for travel access
Really like it, except for the back sewer drain. We will keep watching for changes!!!!
👍🏻
On the entry cabinet on left as you walk into trailer... I would move the drawers next to the entrance door and the doors hiding the shelves to the right where the drawers are now. So just switch them around. WHY? Because it would allow better access to that storage without having to go all the way up into the trailer . So if you want to put flashlights, dog leash, poop bags etc in the drawers, you can lean in and slide a drawer open without having to go all the way up the steps and I to trailer.
BTW I am liking what I am seeing so far. Love, live ,love a rear bedroom
Ty!
I'm not quite in the loop on when mfgs are shipping new models but our folks at www.bishs.com/contact-us can assist you with locations
I like it just curious about the changes !
🎉#NerdHerd.... yeah good job...
Ty for sharing insights as an owner
Interesting comparison video.. ty for the idea!
#Nerdherd
It means a lot! Thanks for the feedback.
Leave it alone except for the minor changes mentioned. We could be happy in this for snow birding during the winter months. We are a very older couple.
It would be great for that kind of use
I currently have a 2019 2506S and there are many things wrong with it. This model seems to address all the issues and problems with my current RV and it passes with flying colors! I can easily see living in it.. Hope they give you the option of a table and chairs, I think dinettes are dumb! A holdover from the prehistoric days of RVs. Otherwise, pretty great. Glad the bigger oven was kept and love the bigger 12 volt fridge....so many great things about this camper! Rockwood, you hit it outta the park on this one.
When you say things wrong with it do you mean quality build problems or things you don’t like about the layout
Got a question Josh if a person does not want auto leveling do you get electric jacks in the back like the ones in the front?
Power stabs standard
Auto level optional
Ditch the little night stands for a true king 72/80 bed. Maybe put a little pocket above for your phone
👍🏻
If they got rid of the second entrance and added a closet with washer/dryer prep (it's right next to the shower), this thing would have everything.
I'll pass this along right away!
Sold!!! I’d prefer a table and chairs though. Any possibility this could also be a fifth wheel floorplan?
This layout is basically incompatible with fw designs I fear
I like that phrase.. "drop zone"
Perfect.. and you're right in that they're highly underrated
(Trust me! Ugh)
It’s not impossible actually. I just don’t see one like that out there right now
Front kitchen is my favourite! Don't need a TV in the bedroom.
Great input. TY!
Seen another thing. Gate valves. I like gate valves at the discharge point to catch seepage. But if there isn’t gate valves up in the belly. What’s going to keep your valves from freezing when they are totally exposed. This is a major flaw to me.
This isn’t made for extreme weather - most rvs aren’t despite all the wild claims
Get rid of the dinette and add a pull out top shelf and add chairs.
ooh cool idea
😂 I love how if you need to use the facilities and you leave the bedroom door open you still have a good angle of that smart TV in the bedroom so you can watch the number one RV reviewer on PooTube while you file paperwork in the office 💩
Toilet TV Certified!
This floorplan has the potential to be awesome💥but no far more flexible table and chairs, or comfortable sofa “option” for the outdated Denny’s diner booth dinette, and the terrible placement of the 2 headed sewer monster was definitely a bummer😢
It's not bad. But have you seen the 2025 Forest River RV Rockwood Signature 8339FK? Huge front kitchen and living room!
Only a Quick Look
Not a full view
Love it but want washer/dryer hookup
Love this unit!!!! The only two things : no garbage space in the kitchen and it would be interesting to see a north south bedroom instead of the slide to save some weight???
Maybe that’s what you said about having to add length to accomplish that. I don’t know, what do you think?
Everything else is golden! Thank you 🙏 Josh and thank you Rockwood!!!!! 👍🤩
Hmm.. might need to add a bit of length
The kitchen is amazing. What we like is the 📺 elevator and nice size shower. Those radius showers are a joke.
Glad you like it!
Josh - If you can confirm a single headed sewer monster this would be the one! The only other nit-pick is I wish the AC shrouds were white.
Offhand I’m not sure but our local folks could double check on that for you
What is with always having a mirror on the closet doors that face the bed? I do not want to watch myself doing anything while in bed. How about developing a slide to open door to access the clothes inside, but flip a lever and the door swings out to provide the mirror.
Mirrors are probably a cost-effective way to "dress up" spaces and/or make them look larger. Just a theory. I've seen people cover/replace them
Very nice Rockwood Travel Trailer 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😊😊
Really nice trailer. Too big and heavy for me, but really well laid out.
Nicer if water heater was not under awning, and get rid of outside speakers.
And solar panels would be better on the awning side rather than where they are. Why? If you camp under trees, you will have the most sun in center of campsite, thus having solar on door side.
Brilliant point on the panels
