Wow!!! This is awesome!!! I have the same problem that needs to do vibration analysis on cutter machine to predict unbalanced knives. Thanks! Keep your experience sharing!
Hey man, awesome project. I'm trying to do something similar, but I have some questions. What's your arduino code look like? What's your sampling rate and what kind of frequencies can you get out of it? thanks!
ADXL 345, graphing software is called KST, its free software. It reads its data through a .txt file that's getting constant data from the sensor live through another free program called RealTerm
Very cool, but it didnt tell you anything you didnt already know. I was thinking of the exact same project for a very similar application, but realized it can only confirm what I already know.
Check out this video for finding vibrations in machinery: ua-cam.com/video/rEoc0YoALt0/v-deo.html - it uses a video recording instead of a vibration sensor.
You can immediately see that the accelerometer is read on the I2C bus! what real "online" mode are you talking about!? The graph plotter shows that the sampling frequency is very small and therefore more than half of the data needed to build a full-fledged distortion graph is lost. And why is this video without a full process of balancing the fan rotor!?

wow this owesome .it has save me my final year PROJECT with great ideas
Hi could be please provide a another video on the kst software how to get that vibration graph?
Hi, what is the sample rate for your ADC and how do you send the data through serial(are you using timer interrupts)?
Can you please share how you set up the graphs in kst?
I have to build an analyzer, can you help me??
CAN I GET OR BUY THE CODE FOR THIS I THINK IT COULD HELP ME WITH MY PROJECT. IM TRYING TO CAPTURE A VIBRATION SO I CAN TUNE IT OUT.
Do you have any schematics that you could share on this setup? Thanks for posting. Much appreciated.
The best part is when you trow the tool to make it vibrate
Can you tell about KST setting in your graph ?? thank you
VERY cool. Thanks for the demonstration.
Can you please share your version of kst software to download?
how you make this devices can you share me more details
Hello, your work is very nice. Is it possible for you to share your project code?
What is the ADXL do you use?,If you use ADXL345, this acelerometer has a bandwidth (BW)
if and only if this chip is configured with this fs that is maximum BW
@@EPandDSP why? Explain
That's what I was looking for
Looks like a bearing issue from the graph as well as unbalance and there's a rub in there somwhere! . Interesting little project.
Hi, can you share the code and / or hints how you made this device ?
Great job! Was that BPF?? At top speed it was like 140hz.
Maybe 15Hz fan speed and 12 blades fan??
so interested , can i use LABVIEW software for the scope and FTFT graphing ?
How to set up just software ?
What is sensor In your device?
I love that!
very nice project - even considering how long you already run this. maybe you could explain a bit more what kind of ADXL you use and so on.

did you get the answer sir ???
@@zinebtalibi16 nope
Why dont you try to work it out yourself? Hard work pays off. Dont live off other people's work. Lazy ass!
Well, impressive project. I am trying to do similar project using MPU6050. I am not getting live data on Kst. Kindly, share your Kst session file?
What soft is it? I can't recognize it... Thanks.
can you provide the arduino code, and the visualisation software used please
Lazy!
Samples per second?
Even we are doing the same project . Can I have program of this plz
Lazy!
can you share the arduino code?
Can you share code?
What software have you used for the charts? And what accelerometer?
I think he is using the ADXL345, I suspect this video is also the setup looks identical
