Bonk and Luchanko were awful in team Canada devastating loss against Latvia. Canada had 15 tries in the shootout and Bonk and Luchanko weren't selected once as shooters.
@@sameold5050 It was a nothing goal in that the latvian goaltender who was brilliant otherwise for some reason just froze in his net instead of coming out to move the puck before Luchanko could get to it. I've seen all the games for Canada and they are a terrible team. They will be crushed by USA on sunday. He's kind of the Drysdale at forward, big fuss over Luchanko's skating but he has no shot and marginal hockey sense. If you can't be an offensive standout on this gawd awful Canada team then that perfectly explains why the flyers gave up on him and sent him back to junior.
@@sportsfan_91 Well I'll give you that Bonk looks better than Luchanko even though Bonk is the QB on canada pp which really sucks. Luchanko is a country mile from making the ahl phantoms. Tortorella lost all credibility hyping this dude coming out of training camp. There are junior B star centers in Canada who are better. Hapless Bobby Brink is a million times better than Luchanko. He's eventually a grinder in the AHL at best. His career is already over. Watch the score on Sunday. Blowout. USA 10-1 over Canada.

Lmao what?? Luchanko was one of their best players by a country mile. Bonk played more than anyone. They played quite well.
