Mastic from Hilti and and batt ( witch is intudeck and not Ablative board) from Firetherm???? Second of it should be compounded even if the damper is restrained and has a builders frame installed The installer get bonus points for using the jig saw to cut the intudeck. never seen that before. No wonder you have to replace al those defective details
My favourite bit was when the damper was perfectly flush with the block work like usual
