- In this video I'll be showing you how I did my own Feed-In Braids I decided to go with 4 large cornrow braids straight back with two small braids in between. This may be my go to summer protective style. 2016 was the first time I ever attempted feed-in braids on my own hair. (that video got so many views just off negative comments but look at me now.! I will try the pop smoke braids another time.

I remember when you 1st started out. I had just taught myself how to braid as well. I didn't know ppl were dragging you, I thought they were great for a beginner. Your skills have definitely improved and your patience is better than mine, I will leave a part crooked in a minute 🤦🏾♀️😂😂 Great hairstyle, your scalp and hair is flourishing.

I was ready to give myself a slick back bun when I remembered u upload this video. It took me 4 hrs but now I have this cute style. This is my first time giving myself feed in cornrows. It was a struggle but I played this video on loop until I was done. Thank you for being transparent about redoing braids over and over until it’s right.
you are so self efficient.. I’m the type where I can’t even flat iron my own hair 😭 or braid my hair down for my wigs lmao i know that’s terrible..I don’t even try to on my own because I get so irritated.. We’re opposite, I can braid my hair in the pop smoke way but I can’t braid how your braiding , but like you said hopefully with practicing I’ll get there 😉

Idk if you’ve tried it or anyone recommended it but Shine Jam in the yellow container. It’s a better hold like edges control & a little better than Jam that you have & also still cheaper! Loved this style on you so much!! 💕

I found a easy method to do the stich Braiding method into a stich braid by doing the rubber band method shout to Mom's when you need help always there to help you out 👏🙌😍
Try the expression hair pre-stretched and more kinky. So the grip is easier, but spectra is super soft and light so it’s going to feel stringy after awhile
I've used expression before I actually liked this one for that reason. The silk has so much slip.

I be wanting to do these so bad but I HATE the feeling of grease/jam in my scalp. Ever since I was a little girl, my momma would grease my scalp and I would wipe it off with tissue when it was bath time🤣🤣🤣you always kill the braids girl😍love it
