Well hi there! Dāv Kaufman is less than 800 subscribers away from 100K. Can we help him get there today??
ua-cam.com/users/D%C4%81vKaufmansReptileAdventures
I subed to him!
We can do this!!
@@ClintsReptiles Hi, could you maybe include latin name of any species you are talking about in description?
As english common name is not necessary of much use if I want to look at availability in my country (Poland) for example ;) While some random article told me you are talking about Heterixalus alboguttatus here (probably?) it would be helpful to have that clearly stated.
Love your channel, keep up great work ^^
Yes we most certainly can
I'm already subscribed to him 😁
I didn't think I needed another frog... but I saw that face and clicked immediately
You're okay by me.
It's probably a good thing for me that Josh's Frogs only ships animals within the US.
Its 5 am, but Im always available for clint
It's 1pm in the uk
You both rock!

I can tell that decades of college, educating, and running a mini zoo have molded you into a master frog imitator. 10/10.
Heh. Tiny shiny soft adhesive goblin thing go sproing.
And hey, Clint brought up the Aye-Aye, which looks like what if sleep deprivation was an animal.
"And hey, Clint brought up the Aye-Aye, which looks like what if sleep deprivation was an animal."
Aye-Aye to that Capt'n.
My snake-loving 8 year old daughter came up with the following joke: "Why couldn't the hognose speak? He has a frog in his throat!"
She will go far. :D
I thought its cause hes got a hog in his nose
Bravo!!!!
Too cute!😊
I just realized this frog is named after Vincent van Gogh's "Starry Night " painting.
I think you're probably right about that.
They're even more beautiful
That's the main reason I watched this video. They are cute little guys. There is also a beautiful fish called a Starry Night cichlid. I have plans on getting at least one of them. When they're adults, they are jet black with little white spots like the night sky; such a striking fish!
Such cute little frogs! And tadpoles- how exciting!! This was such a lovely way to start the day 😊
That makes me happy 😊
@@ClintsReptiles will we see some videos about the little tadpoles and their care ?
TADPOLES 😍🥰 congrats on the new babies!
Thank you! 🐸
Absolutely loving the frog content lately!
Me too!
Couldn’t think of a more enjoyable way to be entertained during lunch. Beautiful frogs and beautiful enclosure.
Loooooove Josh's Frogs. I've bought all my frogs from them. They always arrive healthy, and their customer service great!
Aww look at that tiny froggy! :3
Hey Clint, have you ever thought about making a video about Pacman frogs? It would be amazing to hear your thoughts about it!
You're doing a great job, here in Italy we love you so much!
Thank you so much! Yes, we will for sure.
They will consume all human fingers...
@@mebreevee
I'm pretty sure they only reason they don't try to eat themselves is they can't reach around to try it.
@@malusignatius Most likely!
@@mebreevee Yeah that's why they're amazing!
"they are also easily getting smashed" ... so only one pint per reed frog per evening, or what would be a recommended amount of beverage on game night for them?
Ay well, a pint is no small matter for a frog the size of a guava. So maybe we settle on 2 shots of their favorite stout,or perhaps a 1/8 pour of their favorite spirit
I love everything about this comment thread.
The best way to get them smashed is to dunk them in a shot glass. Humans can get a buzz by absorbing high proof ethanol through their skin (true story), so the effect on a frog would be orders of magnitude greater! It may also be fatal.
@@fredygump5578 Sadly, very fatal. A lot of the early type specimens from Australia were sent back to England pickled in rum. It's one of the reasons the Green Tree Frog (White's Tree Frog to those of you in the US) has the binomial 'Ranoidea caerulea'. The species part of the name (caerulea) is from the latin word for blue, which is the colour the frogs were after they got back to England. Nine plus months in rum had destroyed the yellow pigments in their skin, leaving only the blue colouration.
Courvoisier please ;)
They are so adorable 🥺
"They're very easy to breed in captivity" Yeah, looks like it, those tadpole are so cute!
Congratulations on your bebe tadpoles!! 8D SO CUTE AND WIGGLY
Just lost my 13 year old boxer yesterday dog and watching your videos have really cheered me up. For that I can’t thank you enough Clint
Josh's frogs is great!
I'm glad you got a sponsorship. :)
I literally started clapping and cheering at the little tadpoles they were so cute!
It's so beautiful!
best way to start the day
some excellent frog-content 😍🐸
that one shot of the frog hanging out on the bark was super pretty! cute lil guys, great video!!
It has to be a great day!
!!!!
I love these little guys! I keep thinking about getting them from Josh's all the time
They are extremely neat! Be sure to use our discount code to save some cash :)
I'm so glad you did a video on this species; they're so beautiful, but it's hard to find a lot of info on them.
What a surprise! Those tadpoles are insanely adorable!
I love coming home from work to a new video from Clint c:
Welcome home!
So just to put something... I was a big herp, then got more into fish for a decade. I think most herp keepers would benefit from learning the biomechanical disciplines of aquarium keeping. I often feel when looking at many herp oriented vivarium's like a radical opportunity is missed. We can do better than granting our animals "acceptable" water, we can give them really amazing water quality. And I feel like embracing these disciplines can create an extreme elasticity in the micro ecosystem to absorb the bio load of larger herpetological specimens and co-hab setups.
I feel like the aquarium keepers have mainstreamed so many concepts only just becoming corner stones of the herp trade in the last half century. It started in aquarium trades 30 years ago.
At any rate, love this channel, just wanted to drop that challenge or piece of advice or whatever it is.
Cheers.
ok maybe I need some of these
As someone who loves frogs AND loves the animals of Madagascar, this video feels like it was made just for me
Thats a mesmerizingly beautiful frog! Amphibians are so ornate sometimes I just love them. Great vid as always Clint keep educating
I love the bloopers at the end ! lol
Congrats on the new members of the frog family!
I have ordered from Josh's Frogs many many times & they are an extremely reputable distributor. I highly recommend them. & I am very lucky that they are based in my home state, Michigan!
The appearance of tadpoles was a delightful twist ending.
Aww babies! Congrats to the family.
Thank you! This is not a comment on only this vid. I just subbed about 3 or 4 days ago. I have always been a reptile friendly guy. In the mid 80's I got a hydrosaurus for 40 bucks that I ordered from a petshop. My 8 yr old got an LB Beardie for his 7th birthday. He doesn't handle him much but he's good at it. Right now his claws are a little much for him LOL. It was great fun building the enclosure together.it 's 4x8, and we used styrofoam and spray foam to create all sorts of landscapes concrete tiles to keep his claws down. "Venom" is almost 2 now.
But I digress, you seem to be very knowledgeable, competent and your info is well backed up. It has saved me from the confusion of the internet. Your reptifiles will be a great resource for everyone. I really enjoy your vids. just watched the giant centipede one, thanks for the nightmares, lol. My kid loves your channel too. We'll both be watching so keep em comin.
That is so incredibly cute! I will definitely show this to my brother he absolutely loves frogs, and these tiny little guys are wonderful.
Thank you for your cheerful personality, it makes the whole experience better.
Definitely excited for your next video.
This is such a beautiful frog
Wow! Those are super beautiful. Thanks for sharing Clint, and Josh's Frogs! And look at the babies!
This guy puts me in a good mood no matter what. Keep it up!
These are one of the most beautiful and reasonable frogs, but my takeaway is that, as I often realize, what I want is mourning geckos.
Also, the shots at the end of the tadpoles are BEAUTIFUL
What an amazing little frog
So glad that I discovered your channel. Love your vids
These guys are so cute. You guys should make a video on the Mudskipper!
I am so excited to see that you got tadpoles so darned fast! You make me want to get a pair of these guys and a paladarium so I too can casually watch the miracle of life.
I love frogs, but the American Toad is my favorite pet of all time
Unreal about those tadpoles!! So exciting 😁🤠😁
Absolutely love Josh's frogs they're where I got my first geckos and I recently got my first eggs from them
These are supper cute! Im already planning to get mourning geckos from joshes when I get things straightened out and ready down the road. I need to phase out my fish first. Will defiantly keep these little cuties in mind
awesome to learn from you clint. top notch👍
Great little froggies! I got my own Blue-back reed frogs (same genus and husbandry, different coloration) from Josh's frogs a few months back and already have tadpoles (now to find people willing to buy dozens of froglets...). Clint, I recommend giving the tadpoles some dead leaves, mine are always wiggling around in them!
These frogs just scream cute and I love everything about them from their color and size to their unique name
Hey Clint, stop being so awesome. I'm turning into a real frog person over here.
Another amazing video on a beautiful animal, could you please do a video on garter snakes though please :)
Josh's Frogs really is great, I got my Whites Tree Frogs and Springtails/Isopods for my bioactive setup from them. They all arrived healthy and well packaged. The frogs are active and great lil eaters, they gobble up everything! Love those guys.
Just started to watch your channel amazing uploads lots of information great to watch thankyou
So cute. I didn't know that dart frogs were hard to take care of until I got some they live for 3 years.
Thanks for all your great content Clint I just got six juvenile mourning geckos thanks to your video showcasing them and I built them all individual enclosure modelled after the one in your enclosure build video I’m so happy to finally have them in my life
Just in time for me to start looking into small tree frogs as possible pets!
Great timing on this one! I've been planning on purchasing a few of these when the winter is over (from Josh's Frogs actually) but have found so little specific content on youtube for them. Excited to get their enclosure set up soon!
When I have a bit more money and a more stable plan for my future, I really want a group of these beautiful little frogs
This is unrelated but a setup I've been thinking has been a planted desert vivarium with a desert hairy scorpion and blue death feigning beetles. In the wild and in captivity blue death feigning beetles live in scorpion burrows and clean up their poop and food!
Nice!
I have a suspicious that Clint smashed a small Reptiles is a door or lid once before.
Great video. Always look forward to seeing you...
I haven't, but I have a friend that crushed a dart frog in a lid.
Wow a frog named after my favorite famous painting and also has my first name. I should learn about them more and add them to my reptile collection.
Tadpoles!!! Awesome job!
It’s so beautiful 😭
Agreed
Can you do a video on Dumerils boa and/or rainbow boa? You make great videos Clint! Keep up the good work!
For sure!
Also boa not boss I mistyped
This is EXACTLY the kind of frog I've been looking for! I was considering dart frogs for my palladium, but these little guys are way better suited!
I like how the handleability scores of the reed frogs and the monocle cobra are the same.
Congratulations on the babies
My Corydora catfish have been laying eggs but no luck, or so I thought I just found 4 babies swimming round my tank! I AM SOOOO EXCITEDDDD!
YESSSSS IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS FOR MONTHS THANK YOUUUUUUU
awesome 😊
Agreed
Van Gogh must be so proud.
I have a red foot reed and I love him.
Also I never knew about these and I think I will be getting them now thanks!
Josh's Frogs is fantastic!
Finally, a frog from Josh's frogs
Nice video as always!
Thank you!
what a cute name for a critter
I might get one! They are so cute!
Same
Yay!!! Another amphibian video!!! I would love you to do a tomato frog next!
I was so excited to see this video since I actually have a tank just about set up and ready to go for some starry night reed frogs. I've just been putting off purchasing them till I have all the final touches ready. Question though, as I've been curious about this before and after your video: what do you do with all of the tadpoles? I want to buy at least 3-4 reed frogs, but am nervous I might end up with tadpoles and won't know what to do with them all. Love your videos!
Clint’s creatures always provide a scaly, or in this case slimy smile 👍🏽🐸
"Fruit walks" is never not going to be funny.
OHHHH I heard fruit wok's. That makes wayyyyy more sense XD
@@Jaybiiird To stirfry or not to stir fly.
@@rocksparadox haha yes!!
we call them fruit hops haha
Aww have cute and love your videos and yours videos help me with my research
Can you make a Pacman Frog video? I have one and would love if you made a video about them.
I named my Fowler's toad LIL PEEP and I just love him very much....
These frogs and harlequin toads are my dream amphibs.. hoping to get groups of both within a couple years ❤️❤️
Oh wow, you JUST got them and they are breeding... I would love a small group for a display enclosure but I don't know if I have the ability to adequately rehome the potential dozens or hundreds of subsequent froglets. Very neat little frogs though!
aww the tadpoles are so cute :3
Great vid:) can you do an update on your jungel carpet python please?
Would be nice to see how hes growing and your enclosure setup, thanks
THAT FROG IS AWESOME
Agreed!
"I have a frog in my throat" why didn't I see that coming LOL
What cute little froggies! I wish Clint told us where we could find them.../s
TREE FROGS _ARE_ AWESOME.
Agreed
hello great video Clint
Damn now I want to collect every type of frog
Frogs make me so happy
