ASELSAN is a huge defense company for not only Turkiye but in the world. Their variety of products is wide, from land to air and sea/underwater. All kinds of military products have been produced and developed by this single company.
Each country (Turkey, South Korea, Taiwan) is independently developing a close-in defense system for ships. I wonder if the first missile system is similar to the "RAM" system? The latter 35mm system has its own radar and target designator, so it seems to be similar to the Phalanx in that it can operate as an independent system even if the onboard ship malfunctions.
