Definitely! Thanks and as a veteran player since the first set in 2003, the RPG we created is something very fun to play. Check it out when we release it. I hope for it to be a league that stores start playing.
2:40 - 2:50 This is true. Heroclix has a very friendly and open fan base. This is also true of Dungeons & Dragons. When I first got into it, several older players gave me hundreds of figures to get a jump-start on my collection. I returned the favor with a new player I met. Compare this to video gamers, whose only goal is to yell, "Boom! Headshot!", when you are trying to learn. That happened to me three times in the space of 2 minutes at a comicbook shop, and really put me off learning how to play Halo.
My favorite part of this game is asking, "Who would win? Batman or Spider-Man? Aquaman or Sub-Mariner? Steel or Iron Man? Shazam or Thor? Catwoman or Black Widow? Dr. Fate or Dr. Strange? Red Tornado or Vision? Justice League or Squadron Supreme? And those are just the heroes. There are thousands of possible combinations, heroes, villains, robots, animals, gods, mutants, soldiers, zombies, Star Trek crew members, and the list goes on. Add in the random dice rolls, and most characters having multiple versions at different power levels, there's a mind-boggling amount of possible combinations. And now? We can add professional wrestlers to the map. They're all big name stars, though, so none of them will be in my Boy Stable.
When a player wins the world tournament, they get to design a figure to be included in the next year's set. What would I make? John Wick. "WICK CLIX!!!!!!"
Special power "Daisy" - When John Wick uses Flurry, he may make three Close or Ranged attacks, in any combination.
Special Power "Baba Yaga" - Once per game, give John Wick a Power Action. Place John Wick in hindering terrain anywhere on the map. Give John Wick a Free Action to make one Close Attack.
Special Power "With A Pencil" - John Wick's attacks deal penetrating damage.
You said it perfectly! This game and the community involved have so much to give and it shows.
Even after years of playing I'm still learning new ways to play from the league we are in. Everyone involved has some new way of doing some kind of synergy and teaching you how it works.
As for the new Clix being introduced such as WWE, that was a brilliant move by Wizkids to introduce into the Clix World and really fun to play.
As for your Wick Clix....I want them and I want them now! What an amazing idea for powers too! Nicely done and I can tell that you have definitely thought it out.

Around the time the Baseball Clix came out, I was talking to my friends and said what I wanted next. It was Star Trek, Universal Monsters with the uniques being Lugosi Dracula, Chaney Wolfman, Karloff Frankenstein Monster, etc, (all in black and white), and Wrestling. They went with more modern monsters in HorrorClix, but given my track record, it's only a matter of time till we get Wick Clix!

@@PrimalNerds The problem is, who is he going to fight? A bunch of 20-point Maggia Goons? How about the king of street level brutal beatdowns, Daredevil!
Daredevil would be good or for the set they create the other assassins he had to fight. Or even make the manager of the hotel a figure like Living Tribunal. He can makes decisions but can't entervine.
I definitely miss playing this on Saturdays with friends/competitors. Hope more people come back to this awesome game

It is such a great game! The best way to learn is with a starter set which comes with maps, dice, rules and figures for a 2 player game. There are also many channels on UA-cam that can walk you through the abilities for an easier understanding. You can't go wrong with Heroclix!

That's up to you and what you like. There are 3 really good starters right now. The Fantastic Four starter, the Justice League Unlimited starter then finally the Avengers vs The Masters of Evil which is made for beginners to learn.
I can't wait to start playing soon. Just bought my first starter set and I'm happy that I did
Heck yea! So worth it! Be sure to snatch up the new Spider-Man set when it comes out in late March. With the new rules and smaller maps, there will be so much more action.

There will be a miniatures game for the set. It comes with 10 figures, 2 hard board maps, dice, crazy amount of tokens, powers & abilities cards and scenario cards as well. A pretty good grab!

I just started playing, I have a lot of questions but this video was very helpful informative! The only question I really have is how do I find more people to play with?
That’s the tricky part. The best thing to do is go onto Wizkids.com and search for events near you. This will load any local events at stores that hold tournaments. You can also log into HCRealms.com and the forum pages will usually have groups in search of players nearby. But there is always the old fashioned form of teaching someone else and starting a group yourself. Being in the military the third one was the one I leaned onto the most. You’ll find a group that will love this game. I can promise that!
Being a fan also helps you to be able to know what characters are able to work well based on a general knowledge of their powers
For sure! Most sets now have generic “team” abilities that work well together. This makes those team buildings fun to create.
can this be played solo? what are some good solo board games?
Ot can be played solo with modified rules but Wizkids has also made a Heroclix side project that can be played solo too. It is called Heroclix Strike Teams. It is an Avengers based game with 1 or 2 expansions.

Can you use dc and marvel heroclix together like the unstoppable juggernaut vs superman I think I would want a normal grass land bord with a little bit of trees and hills
You can play whatever mash up you want. Whatever is your heart's content. Iron Man VS Batman, "Battle of the Billionaires". Darkseid VS Apocalypse, "Battle of the Smurfs". It is completely up to you. Have fun!
@@PrimalNerds I've seen big figures like starro from DC that alien space star fish I like that there's rare ones like in card games rare stuff is always fun to collect
It is a fun game to collect and then to build crazy off the wall teams. Just like any other collectable game, it has pros and cons, but I feel the pros far outweigh the cons.
@@PrimalNerds I fell the cons can be the lack of company's making good playing boards I see people making their own some times that's what I might do I've see a pitcher of a entire town with actual trains made from paper it looked cool the town was covered in those squares so the figures can move it was even on the rooftops
That is true. The maps the game come with are good but 2 dimensional. We too have made the maps into 3D form and is really fun to play.

OK. Don't won't to be a heckler as someone new to the game but known about it. Im still not sure about some stuff. Like what is the deal with the tokens/chips. You put them on for every non free action but do they go away next turn? Do I have to specifically rest a character? Maybe I missed it but how many tokens can you have? Sorry again, I really wanna play but it seems a little more complicated then DnD and 40k.
Very understandable. It’s actually fairly simple. We too play 40k and D&D and it’s way easier to learn than those two. The tokens denote costed actions such as moving or attacking. The token is a representation that the figure has activated that turn and no more than two actions can be placed on a figure. If the figure has two activations or tokens on them then at the end of your next turn they can rest. Which removes the tokens and starts fresh again.
@@PrimalNerds ok. So it's not a passive thing to rest. If I rest one character the next turn, can I then use that recovered token on a character that has not be activated that same turn? Also, thank you alot for responding let alone so quickly. I wasn't expecting it haha.

Haven’t played heroclix in 13 years. Really wanna get back into it.
Now is a great time to get back in. A new rule set and abilities make the game even more interesting. They have really upped the modeling game as well from 13 years ago. It's just a much better and nicer game.
Hi, I'm from Russia I have 14 Heroclix Figures from 2013, how can I sell them?
The best way to sell Heroclix is 1 or 3 ways. 1 is by ebay, 2 is by selling to local players and stores and 3 is by looking into internet sites that sell Heroclix because sometimes they will buy some of what you have to replenish their stock. I hope this helps you out.

I thought if I had enough boosters I could play with just that so I picked up like four from a LGS but they were repackaged and I only got DC characters even though I got Marvel and DC packs and about a third of them were missing the knobs so I can't even play them :(
Sounds like I would have taken them back to the LGS and showed them. I’ve never heard of that happening before coming from an LGS.

Go to Wizkids.com and create an account. Here you will create a play network account for tournaments and play which gives you access to local events and games. It’s really easy and worth the effort.
That was smart comparing it to chess because it’s a game that makes you think “for what the other person can do next what should I do now” like MTG
Knowing what the opponent is capable of definitely helps make your decisions. Just like in chess and MTG, thinking ahead is crucial.
Can I just use Galactus and kill everything lol?
Lol. Yes. Yes you can.
How many abilities can you use per turn?
That depends on what the ability states. Free action can be used only once per turn per figures stats unless its states that it can do it multiple times. Powers are the same but are used once.
When are you going to show off the RPG?
It will be a series coming within the next week or so.

The animated series set is not modern age but can be played in silver age leagues. Check with local venues but there isn’t anything that says you can’t build and play it for fun too. That’s what we do a lot.
@@PrimalNerds oh so there are certain hero clix that can no longer be played on tourneys. I mean I don't mind playing Hero Clix for fun. I'm even thinking mixing diffirent characters like DC, Marvel and even fantasy characters just a mixture of characters that I like. Definitely Baby Doll, Jubillee, Black Cat etc :3
Yea there are different variations of play. There is Modern, Silver and Golden Age Heroclix. Each league has its own sets allowed to play with. Most events are Modern but Silver Age has gotten a big boost within the last 2 years.

You might be surprised at what is around you. You can go to the Wizkids website and find games that take place near you. If you still cannot find a location you can try Roll20 which is an online game for Heroclix and other tabletop games that connect you to other players.

What happened if you open packs and get a lot of copies of one figure? Do I just sell them? XD
You can sell them but common and uncommon figures usually don't sell. What we do is make cheap 300 point teams with them and teach Heroclix to people and they keep the teams or we use them as projects such as trophy toppers or statues for terrain. There is always the special art of tossing too where you throw them in the trash but that one I feel is not a good one. It's really up to you KTK. Good luck and happy hunting.

what prevents camping in this game?
In tournaments when a playing camps or passes turns they are usually given 1 or 2 a game depending on the location rules. This is to prevent such things as camping.

YEEEES! The power creep is something Hericlix has too. Its different for Heroclix though as when playing with tournament legal figures, they are pretty balanced.
