I enjoy watching your videos. At NRL22X matches and Nationals, you are not allowed to ask for time anymore, so if you plan to shoot any X matches you might want to get a gun timer. The cheap little talking timer has improved my stage management a lot.
Thank you for the information, I didn’t realize that wasn’t allowed at X and National matches. I have one of the cheap talking timers but it’s one more thing to get ready and I just figured it’s easier to ask. Thanks again!
@@22LRPhantom No prob. I would hate for a shooter of your ability to get thrown by something so basic at a large match. There's some discussion about it among the NRL MDs, I wouldn't be surprised if asking for time is disallowed at monthly matches next year for everyone but new shooters and juniors. On the other hand, PRS is really cracking down on coaching but they still allow you to ask for time (depending on the match). I hate asking for time now because there is a delay for the person to check the timer, then tell you the time. Feels like an eternity when you are on the clock. A lot of matches are using shot timers, it's difficult to tell someone the time unless they are running a separate timer as well as the shot timer.
Congrats on the HO win! Great shooting as always! Wow. You really used up all the time on quite a few of those stages! It’s such a rush seeing you getting it done just in the nick of time!!
Thank you! The time was really tight on most stages for sure this month. A lot of 12 round stages with a number of hard shots to make, and for some reason the first stage had some wind that didn’t seem to make a lot of sense and that took a few moments to figure out as well. At least the 10 round stages went quick but there were only two of those this month. Good luck this month, I can’t wait to see your video of the match!
@@22LRPhantom my video is in the “edit bay” now. This was definitely a match where I had some challenges half way through. We definitely had some swirling winds and the last 2 NRL stages. I dropped 10 total on those two. 😬 still placed among the top shooters. We have such a highly competitive open division where the top ten shooters are almost always an impact or timed stage hundredths of points separated in the results.
@@gnroll1 Sorry to hear about the swirling wind this month, sounds like it was pretty crazy. Looking forward to seeing your video, I just caught your tank trap short and you nailed it-that was a super tricky stage.
Another great match! Loving watching your videos
You’re the best!
Very nice! Thanks for sharing. 🙏👍👍
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it!

awesome video! I love how intense the intro music is!! 😂
also I can't get over how rock solid you were on that tank trap! that wasn't an easy stage by any means and you drilled it!!
Thanks Austin!
That was a crazy stage, the small target was tiny. I was pretty pumped when I cleaned it.
Wind on stage 1 made me real confused, too.
Yeah, the wind was a little crazy on that side of the range. I was fortunate when I got to the tank trap the wind died for a few minutes.
accuracy is very scary.... but can it injured a deer / boar / anything that can be hunt.... it's hunting season...😅
