I was an air traffic controller in Ft. Lauderdale, FL back around 1985, when a twin prop plane came in with several pro wrestlers. Using my binoculars, I could identify Kevin Sullivan, Billy Jack Haines and a couple others getting out. Their physiques were very recognizable, even from 1/4 mile away. It looked like several female "groupies" were there to greet them, lol.
Thats why im sure Barnett called their bluff. That video released in 79 would've ruined their careers. Whats interesting is would Randy Orton Dean Malenko ever been allowed in the business?
How did Plan B hurt Orton? He had a good run in Mid South, a decent run in Mid-Atlantic, and a good long run in WWF(E) with Piper, Orndorff, and Adrian Adonis.
Roop is mostly knows for his runs in Mid South and Florida In Mid South He played the conving heel to turn Orndorff face and held the major belt for about a year till they took it off him to beginng the Ted Dibiase betrayal of JYD In Florida he was part of Sullivan demonic faction before used to mentor a young Lex Luger

Kevin Sullivan seems like such a nice guy. His gimmick could not have been more opposite from the real man behind the gimmick.
Bob Orton, Ron Garvin, etc., are lucky that they ever worked in the business again. In fact, some of them thrived.

Garvin really was lucky. Just nine years after they did that Garvin got the NWA belt.
