The pie cube looks like a round 3x2x3. So if you know how to solve a 3x2x3, you can probably solve the pie cube. Hope this helps!

Tingman I’m thinking of running a comp at my school I have no idea how many cubes r there but are there any non online (real life) shops that sell stack at timers (I live in Australia too btw so same shops). Also are there any other things I need for a comp? Support from Wa
There were lots of comps planned for perth earlier this year, so I would suggest there are a fair amount of cubers. You don’t need to buy anything to run a comp other than covering the cost of a venue. Contact a local delegate or go to speedcubing.org.au to get started planning.
Perth/South WA has a lot of comps, so there are definitely cubers. Contact A WA delegate and talk about running a comp! I'm sure they will be willing to talk to you and help.

I have the fidget spinner 3x3x1 rubiks cube, and you can actually make it really hard to solve. You are able to do a half turn, then do another turn on a different side, causing it to shapeshift. I do it many times, so I can tell you it won't ruin the cube.
Not sure if someone's already mentioned this, or of you're already aware, but the 3x3x1 can shape shift, so it's not only "always solvable in five moves or less" if you actually fully scramble it with the shape-shifting moves included.
