Well folks - I'm from the rock - (NL) I play guitar, accordion, harmonica, & piano - and I'm impressed with Hayden's performance - and how he can play so many instruments so well - because he is actually not that old - To me, he seems to have a lot of NL blood in his veins, although he is from NS - Talented young man indeed
Yes, Hayden has performed in NL many times before Covid-19 struck and even did shows with a band on the ferries.

Yes I can’t understand when the Robins come home as they don’t leave to come home ,
only thing I can think of is when that song was written they maybe did not know this , but surely the recording’s company would have picked this up , would be interesting looking into the who wrote it and why , however lovely story and sad ,

Hi Peter, Hayden just turned twenty-four on November 21. We met two summers ago when he came down from Wayside Camp just up the road. He wanted more information about our community, Glen Margaret and Kieth, one of the campground family members sent him down to see me. I always ask a lot of questions, and upon discovering he played and sang, asked if I could record him Hayden agreed and became so popular on FB that I started a UA-cam channel, More Maritime Music. We became like grand-father grand-son right away and the rest is as they say, history. Happy you like the music. Ivan .

I think the lyrics of that song should be changed to when the swallows come home cause whereever Robins are they are always at home and the swallows come every spring and migrate in the autumn
