Using only the wire coil in series of the Positive makes a 6db per octave crossover. Good enough for my tastes, and no capacitors to worry about

@@romantea3506 using just the coil is fine. Look up "crossover calculator" and "1st order pass" mode. And it should tell you what coil to use

What is the uH value of the inductor?
It better with stranded iron wire core or ferrite instead bolt + nut. Low size iron particles are less generating eddy current, thus lower heat..

I've a technicall question. Can I use LPF filter at input of amplifier and connect directly The output of amplifier to The subwoofer?
Yes, I currently have a set up that kind of works that way. Just make sure your amp has its crossover, disabled, or set to full. In my set up the deck has a built-in crossovers and only output specific frequencies to the amps. Slightly more efficient on the amps.

Sir kung babawasan yung ikot ng coil medjo tataas ba yung range na marrecieve ng driver? Parang around 300hz? Tpos same capacitor ba pwede padin gamitin pag ganun ginawa?
Di ko gaano gets tanong mo lods. Pero sa paggawa ng passive crossover me tamang calculation na nakadepende sa mga ilalagay. So magbebase ka sa frequency response ng driver at impedance driver.

Yang sub mo po, kaya po kaya ipower ng tpa3116d2 2.1 amplifier na 24v ang power source? Maganda po kaya ang tunog ng sub na yan? Ok po kaya siya sa L ported box? Gusto ko po kasi yung soft at deep bass. Sana po masagot niyo po. Bubuo po kasi ako ng 2.1 system
Bitin tpa3116d2 mo kpg yan subwoofer na yan ang gagamitin. Ok sya sa Lported basta tama lang ang pagkakagawa.
Pwede niyo po matignan itong mga sub kung saan sa kanila ang compatible at kayang idrive ni tpa3116d2.

Yung tosunra sub po may nakita akong nagreview non tapos sound test pero walang mga box. Gamit po niya is yung tpa3116d2 2.1 amplifier pero baka po kasi di kayanin ni tpa yung sub kasi sabi naman po 800W daw pero di ko po kasi alam kung ano RMS power niya.

Sa pang 5watts na speaker Anu po maganda Gawin para gawing lowpass filter .
Either active low pass filter or passive low pass filter rin. Pero sa 5watts na speaker is not recommended pa na maglagay ng low pass filter kasi masyado na mahina yan. Dpt at least 50watts man lang.

Meron tamang computation para jan. The more na dumarami winding mas tumataas ang resistance at napifilter na high frequencies.

Depende kasi sa balak mo habol na tunog un eh at proper computation rin. Pero kalimitan inilalagay is 1000uf na khit 50V.

Para walang high frequenvy ang pumasok sa subwoofer pra mas maging efficient ang tunog ng low bass.
lods...may tanong lang ako...dual impedance yung sub ko..8Ω, 8Ω sineries connection ko.same procedure lang ba paglagay ng low pass filter kahit nakaseries?
Same lang kaso sobrang taas na ang impedancr nyan kung dvc 8ohms na sineries mo. Hina na output ng amplifier.

Filter ang capacitor at kailangsn rin n inductor coil n kmatch.

Masyado namang nawala na yung base,..
Wala kasi sa box kaya parang totaly nawala. Pero tingnan mo nlng movement ng cone halos same sa movement ng wala pa ung low pass filter. Although humina ng konte ang lakas kc nagdagdag ng resistance dhil sa inductor. Ng iseries. Sa amplifier nlng bawi ng timpla ng built it preamp kung walang active crossover.
Hi Tawiti, you've used too much capacitance, use anywhere from 200uf and then increase accordingly..
200uf only allows frequencies from 200hz and bellow great for bass! 😃👍
