Buying your first handgun or figuring out the best option for a beginner can be daunting if you've never handled a gun, even at a shooting range. It can be confusing to sift through the different gun models, makers, and calibers, not to mention deciding between semi-automatic and automatic pistols.
Many beginners choose a gun based on looks or what they’ve seen in movies, without really thinking about what’s most practical for someone new to firearms.
In this video, we’ll discuss important gun details like caliber, ammunition, size, how it feels in your hand, price, and safety features, to help you make an informed decision when choosing your first gun.

Good evening. 🍻🇺🇸. I know when i decided to become a Florida CCWP carrier back in December of 2022. I JUMP right in when a Smith&Wesson M&P 2.0 4.25 metal pistol. Its been a DAM FINE pistol. My second pistol was a shadow systems MR920L. Another OUTSTANDING firearm. Both are apart of my EDC line

I think it depends on what the individual wants in a handgun in the first place. Is it to plink at targets, conceal carry and or home defense or a number of other reasons.

My first handgun was a ruger .22 government target model with a bull barrel. Still have it!!

your first handguns and rifles need to be airsoft and .177 lead pellet guns. The ammo costs 1/2 c per shot, no range trip is necessary and if you shoot yourself with airsoft during a fast draw, you're not hurt. There's minimal noise. They save you so much money that they pay for themselves in a very few months and then you can use them to teach novices. Then you want a 22 conversion unit or a 22lr variant of whatever 9mm you want to carry and some low cost AR-15, for which there IS a $250 .22lr conversion unit. ASAP, get night sights, drop in trigger job and silencer for the AR, armor, night vision, solar charger.

Kinda defeats the purpose of learning to handle and fire guns. Not that airsofts can't injure or kill, but not quite the same.
