Everything about this song, down to the dance says Travis Kelce. Each dancer reenacts a Kelce move to a game score. Her at the games pointing at him. Even her little copycat wave back at Patrick Maholmes from when he was teasing Kelce at a game with a playful wave to Taylor in the stands. Her references in the song like "full throttle" comes from Kelce in his brother's pod cast saying a relationship commitment should be "full throttle". "You know how to ball" , of course he's a ball player. Getting the door for her & pulling her to the backseat. We've all seen videos of him being gentlemanly & doing that for her. Everything about this song & it's performance screams Travis Kelce. And I love how she pays attention to the things he does. She's so in love she drinks up his every move & wanted to include him in her song & routine. This is the most! I'm here for it!!

I enjoy her music and clever lyrics but I understand people's criticism that she's still writing about high school level feelings & looking at relationships in an immature way, hence why things haven't been working out for her. Maybe Travis finally is someone long term compatible? Feels like no.

I think that you missed a clever lyric here :) "So high school" is not something that's usually said with fondness in ones voice. Think about it. "That dress? I dunno, it's so high school" etc...
I think this song is actually sort of speaking about how the public perception of her relationship with Travis portrays them. Taylor is a grown woman, a billionaire, do you think she wants to sit around watching American Pie and GTA games with a house full of boys?
Also, she talks about stifling sighs. I think this is another clever double meaning lyric. She wants folks to read it as being something sexual. But people also sigh heavily when they're watching something that they think is beneath them. Something that's...dare I say, so high school?
I don't know if I think she's saying she's not into the relationship. But she may be saying that the media is watering her down and is trying to make her out to be something she isn't.
