yesterday August 16, 2024 Benedetta's YT channel conquered 1 million subscribers. She has only published 68 videos in the last 5 years and tomorrow she will publish a new one and I sincerely hope that the sax does not overshadow her splendid and clear voice. Many videos published by Benedetta have millions of views and some (like this excellent version of "Wicked Game") are practically ignored. I do not understand the reason but perhaps it is the public that does not appreciate difficult songs and prefers banal and commercial ones. In any case Benedetta comes out the winner. We hope she soon publishes a complete version of the beautiful "The Winner Takes It All".
So phenomenal! I really enjoyed how they arranged the song together and Riccardo has accompanied Benedetta with who has made Wicked Games so smooth and hauntingly beautiful. I love that Benedetta didn’t copy the original and didn’t try to powerhouse through it. Breathtaking, brilliant and one more for the Beautiful Benedetta playlist. This was on the radio in the supermarket in Paphos, Cyprus yesterday... I thought I recognized the voice, but I was suprised it would be playing there. It's a big chain supermarket, not just some small kiosk with someone listening to youtube.
