I can't use bar soap down there because it throws off my pH balance so for years now I've used Vagisil wash and that works so good for me and keeps me very clean and no smell at all, like seriously it's amazing for me!

Great video ladies! Great tips! Learning your body is my fav tip from this video! I teach my young daughters now to pay close attention to their body especially their lady parts. You wont know if something has changed if you dont know what normal is your you.
It's really not that bad if you have a good esthetician. I'm in GA but she put powder on me before she starts the waxing which may be protocol but she always after she do her "pulls" she rest her hand on that area to take away the sting idk can't really explain it but hopefully she's just attentive to her clients pain and concerns
Well, I might be a bit of an odd one but I have full waxed MYSELF down there. And I’m a hairy woman! And to wash I use birch tar soap shipped in from Latvia or persimmon soap shipped from Japan. Sometimes I use African black soap. This stuff is really good for skin health. I also use diluted apple cider vinegar for my skin (not on my vag as that would sting) and medicated coal tar shampoo to wash my hair. I smell f-ing gross like some kind of engine that’s just come out of a car factory. But that’s ok because my skin is good for it - despite being 40 years old my skin health is doing ok. And I lace myself with nice fragrance after I’ve bathed so it doesn’t matter so much! Sometimes all these “nice smelling things” don’t actually do the job, and no one can smell that strawberry scented shower gel down there - so I don’t bother with that none sense. It can make things worse down there and be very irritating. If you use soap, don’t put soap directly there because it can sting, but around and diluting the soap is ok... I’ve just started laser removal for my upper lip and under arms… my bikini is next. I might leave a triangle because it is permanent and not sure I want all that removed …
I love the Venus pubic skin daily soothing serum! It contains lactic acid so it has helped me keep in grown hairs at bay as well as keep the area smooth. It’s been the only thing to help me, not even Tend Skin has helped.
Something else that is super important for both men and women....DRINK LOTS OF WATER, that urine has gotta be clear and copious, that will help keep skin moisturized and elastic and keep skin issues to a minimum...oop, awesome y'all covered that topic too, nice.

TYSM for mentioning gel wash. I was using a cream type & it was so drying & irritating after a shower. I thought it had to be the body wash or hard water…or both. I’m definitely going to try gel based & see if makes a difference.
This was so good! One question though, I shave, and been waxed once. It was a great experience but it’s not something I can keep up. What can I do at home to remove the darkness from my mons pubis? I really want to fix this. I don’t experience ingrown as but it’s just the discoloration that’s bothering me.
Great question! If your skin is darker in that area and it isnt discoloration from dark spots it could just be the way your skin is. I would recommend going to your gynecologist to see if they have any over the counter creams to help with brightening that area. But from a waxers stand point I recommend to exfoliate with the silk scrub from fur🤍

My hair follicles have weakened from waxing causing more ingrown hairs. I had to stop waxing completely but would like to resume. Do you have any advice on how to prevent ingrown?
I’ve never heard of weakened follicles but in all reality, ingrowns are caused by clogged follicles since the hair is being removed from the root, anything can clog it like body wash, sweat, body oil, dead skin, oils, or lotions. Try doing inventory on your products and what you’re using to exfoliate as well. Toss loofas and wash clothes and get something that really exfoliates like an exfoliating mitt or glove. Use silk scrub and a gel body wash. Invest and get an ingrown concentrate from Fur as well xoxo good luck!!

However I was dating a guy for 3 years and he threw me all the way off lol I started getting BV easily even after I let him go …. My Dr said to stop doing the manual water twirl finger douche bc it’s getting rid of good bacteria. Anyone have a BV issue from water douching?
You definitely have to go to the right waxing center. I went to the European wax center, they made it look si smooth and beautiful first time. It was pricey for me at the time so i went to another location. That was the worst decisioni made for my vagina... location matters and its worth the money. Do not gamble wuth the kitty🤷🏾♀️
Yes laser is the next step up. But if you're scared to wax you definitely wouldn't laser. Thats how i look at it. But i agree!! Laser is where it's at at from what I've heard too

I wouldn’t recommend because it actually shrinks the follicles and that results in the hairs becoming harder to remove.
