i think the point was to keep all the abilities of the characters (mario still has his super jumps), but instead make the world around them follow the laws of physics (blocks can't fly in mid-air or let people run up walls)

The result of that *Title* in every game *(platform, fighting or adventure like)* imaginable, would be a huge list of unintentional and very gruesome deaths.

Here’s something kinda random but I gotta say it somewhere: I like to think that Sonic sees everything is slow motion as he runs, like the slow motion scene in the sonic movie. Or he just senses the things that are in front of him and avoids them.
The animation is even better than the last video it's more cinematic.
