Well, there's a reason they went with an imitation of him with Sonic X and the games afterward for 5 years, it really fits him. I think Roger Craig Smith is the best personally but Ryan sure had his moments

nobody talks about that because its a secret part from labyrinth zone so that means eggman didnt find it and didnt put any robots in it

@@marcasmannarino2924 Probably fell in there or Eggman probably realized that it was too dangerous to waste resources but forgot to remove the signpost.
Besides, the lack of rings throughout the area with the only ones being in the shape of a giant ring and the only monitor in the area was already destroyed means that part of the Labyrinth was slowly losing stability and eventually most resources like rings were starting to fade away or got removed by the environment's instability.

Watching this felt like I was watching someone else play, it felt less like an animation, and more like actual gameplay :D All the animations were very fluent, and they felt more realistic. Great job!

I know they aren't canon, but in the pre reboot archie comics, sonic was actually able to swim, he just hated water.

Honestly, this shows how much of a good Sonic voice Ryan drummond is, with his voice fitting not only modern/adventure sonic but classic sonic as well.

(higher jumps, holding an object to swim better, “Frog Suit” swimming, perfect hang time, grabable objects, etc.)
The level design was so well done, I feel like it was part of the game’s code that was just commented out! Really felt like they classic game! Great work.

Those goggles are a punch in the nuts to anyone who played an underwater level in a sonic game.
This should have been an actual level!
Imagine a Sonic 1 rom hack where each zone has a secret one act zone where you unlock secret power-ups for the rest of the game and these secret zones teach you how to use them.
Labyrinth Zone is already covered so feel free to post the names of these hidden zones and secret power-ups I'll go first:
Marble Zone: Lava Ruins Zone- fire shield
Starlight Zone: Galaxy Shield (Decreases Gravity)

Sonic: this would’ve been useful when I jumped into that waterfall to avoid Amy.

He’s talking about another level up animation with sonic.
If those goggles & hidden act were added in the original game, it would've made it even TWICE as successful as it was. Even coupled with the ability of Sonic been able to swim, pick up & throw objects would be quite the advantages against Eggman. In the end the exit became a bypass route around Star Light Zone & Sonic arrived on the outskirts of Scrap Brain Zone.
This needs a sequel
