I would be extremely grateful for information directly from Russia about the recent attack in Moscow. It’s hard to trust anything the West has to say on anything Russia related. Your timely translation the other day was very much appreciated. I watch everything you put out so you’ve got my view either way. Thank you for your dedication to the channel we’re all grateful ✌🏻

      That could be interesting
Also in the same period, provide some analysis about Yeltsin.
I was very surprised in the tucker Carlson interview when Putin said that Yeltsin was worth better than his reputation.
A study of this era could be enlightening

Hi Michael, Thank you the diligence you perform on top of your regular work. I do not see how you manage at times, but Thanks. I wonder where we are heading IN YOUR VIEW, as a pol sci professor. You started a lot of this with a thorough rundown concerning how international relations work and the place/behavior of the United States and other Western nuclear superpower states. MUCH has happened since then. I almost cannot fathom the level upheaval (tripping and turning over the wheelbarrow of manure onto ourselves). How has this CHAOS changed your earlier perspective regarding certain superpowers and the part they "play". Who is running who? How should we perceive the old idea of Borders and State power in these times versus obvious BROAD manipulation/influence...and corruption? How can we pick up any reigns of denocratic Republic goverment again from a US perspective and how can we expats keep Europe from becoming the next US state, esp after further needless NATO integration? Everything that is happening makes me believe in unicorns again, its so unbelievable for a gen x-er. Thanks again.

Would you mind touching a subject about gold being mined in the Ural mountains and sent by train to swiss banks before the Soviet Union fell? I had a professor circa 96 - 97 who told me about this and it always weighed on my mind but I can't find any info. about it. He was a Dr. of psychology and history who did research in former countries that were once in the Soviet Union. Was pretty interesting. Thanks in advance.

I think some good ideas could be:
    - Video on the future of the Balkans, potential conflicts and how external influence might change in the future.
    - Video on how the Russian economy might change in the future and what will the impact of the war/SMO have on its economy. Is Russias drastic GDP growth sustainable? Does Russia plan to and shoudl it plan on strengthening the ruble?
    - Armenia/Azerbaijan relations/history and foreign interest.
    - Iran - Saudi Arabia history of their relations and seeming regional conflict of interest. Could it be described as a clashing spheres of influence?
    - Chinese vs 'Western' influence/relations with the African continent as a whole (key players)
-What role does Brazil and Douth America as a whole player in International politics, and what role/position do you see them taking in the future.
Just a couple of points that i think would be interesting to discuss. Atleast interesting in the eyes of someone who is relatively new to IR/GP, but it keen to learn.

I know you have said many times there will most likely not be a world government in our lifetime, but as a pacifist I think the only way to avoid ALL future wars, is to disarm, demobilize, and reintegrate all militaries of the world (starting with the major powers) as the UN did in Liberia 2003. At the same time, albeit ironically, building up UN 🇺🇳 peacekeeping authority and autonomy.
My question is; What other international systems other than a world government could provide similar positive peace for decades or centuries, without wars no matter how small?
Thanks for your contribution to IR knowledge on the platform!

Where do you see BRICs and the economic councils/blocs factoring into innovation and/ or driving industrial & tech developments? Second question: since all of this is oriented around the sdgs what do you think the implications will be for the UN system when it comes to conflicts like Ukraine/russia or israel/Palestine given what has gone down thus far with these conflicts? Like im wondering more in terms of the history past and present of how these conflicts & responses to it are had in part through that system, and how the current phase of industrial development is being driven by it.

There have been many claims of totalitarianism as it relates to a lack of freedom of speech in Russia. I speculate that that happens because of outside threats to Russia from the west. I would like to see if you had any input on that? Sorry if you already covered this.

I'm a returning student of Russian history, but I'm most interested in the Soviet period. I think I remember reading that new texts were released from the archives in recent years. I would love to hear anything you know about this new information. A Russian historian was talking about this and said that some of these documents somewhat vindicated Stalin. I would like to know more about that. Cheers.
