Jamie do you know another alternative way of keeping the clicker but more control of the 30 slosh fed up of it running out of control Great videos Thanks
Unfortunately, you will need a reel like the one in the video, either an SHA or SHV. Both have aluminium spools. The original slosh has a graphite spool.
Just bought a used Sealine x40HV. came down with flu and haven't even got to try casting the thing. Dont know if brake blocks in it....don't know diddly about it except it's a big mammy jammer. I'm used to casting Abu's, Shakesphere Tidewaters, daiwa millionaire's etc.. I'm just gonna put it on my 8' rod and heave ho and see how she go. Any suggestions for me? Not really trying for distance right now. Got it spooled with 40lb mono for BIG catfish. Lines pretty stiff. Have no idea what to expect.
I have a 50x sha and I really like casting with it, it doesn't have a mag system but I can still cast it a 120 yards no problem. I'm using 30lb mono an doing bait casting, my weight is 5 oz an no back lash has happened. Now I started casting with a extended 4/0 penn ceneter reel packed with 80lb mono with 200lb shock line with a 10oz weight. I know people here in Hawaii that cast the 9/0 ceneter no problem too, so when you say a reel is a giant you got no idea what we cast with in Hawaii.
Why is this a huge reel? An Avet TRX 130 2-speed is huge. This is a small/medium sized reel for small/medium sized fish. They do a size bigger as well. The 50. Strange comment.

can you mag a saltist 30H?
Good Day! I have Daiwa Magforce SMF 250. Made in Japan. Reel has magnet. Could you please let me know if PMR mag set will fit my reel. Thanks
You still sell mags? I have a sealine x50 sha. Also have a shimano torium 50, I don't mind losing the clicker on both because I use a bell.
I know this is an old video but I wonder if you’ve ever magged a Penn 4/0.

Just make sure the brake blocks are on and get your thumb ready. Heavy pressure on the spool at first then back off.
@@defmud80 Thanks. I appreciate the advice.
Praying might be good before you cast that beast !
@@PimpMyReel Surely couldn't hurt. It is a beast of a reel.
Hi Jaime enjoyed another one of your videos, but do you have a video where you take apart the other side of the sealine where all the gears are?
Billyjackman Not so far.
I love the breathing ❤ 🙏
That's what happens when you have a heart condition......................

Are you sure about that??? I use Penn Senator 9/0 & 12/0 for shark fishing in UK waters, they have PMR SuperMag's on them. And I can Spell.....!
@@PimpMyReel Beach fishing? Or from high cliffs? Look up fishing in Hawaii we do a lot of fishing from cliff's average height is 80 feet.

Lol behemoth. Y’all must use tiny reels for surf casting.
Yep and those tiny reels cast over 900ft!!!!
@@PimpMyReel quite impressive
@@PimpMyReel what reel would you suggest I take a look at? My current reel is a Daiwa 50XSHA. But I’d be open to something smaller.
