Ahem. We didn't. It came that way.
The graffiti was done whilst still in NIR ownership, Matthew. We actually tried to remove it but it was too well dried on. Any photos of it in York Road show that. But no, you had to go and blame the heritage railway who saved it, didn't you?
I mean it was in bad shape before but why did they not re paint it like 69
