Maybe instead of Trump proofing California, Democrats maybe should have spent more time and resources fireproofing california

💯%. As Dan Bongino said today on his show, at this point, it ceases being misfeasance and now becomes *malfeasance*. They intend to hurt. Maybe they don’t intend this specific outcome. But they intend to use their power to cause the kinds of outcomes they want for control.

      I concur 100%.
Incompetent people make mistakes. These decisions are not, "Opps" I made a mistake! These are purposeful decisions to garner some type of outcome.
Sorros doesn't put AGs into office with the specific purpose of criminal justice reform by refusing to prosecute criminals! Or by letting criminals out of jail with full knowledge that they will repeat. That's done on purpose.
The opening scene to " No County for Old Men,"
"There was this boy I sent to the electric chair in Huntsville, here a while back. My arrest, my testimony. He killed the fourteen year old girl. The paper said it was a crime of passion, but he told me what any passion to it, told me that he'd been planning to kill somebody for about as long as he could remember, said if they they turned him out, he'd do it again. Said he knew he was going to hell... be there in about 15 minutes."
These are the types of people the left stands by...these are the people they let out of jail. No, not incompetence, EVIL!!!

      You're correct.
Incompetent people make mistakes. The decisions that these people are making are not mistakes! These are deliberate decisions that are designed to garner a desired outcome. For example, encouraging homelessness and visually seeing the effects and continuing the policies that started it. That's not a mistake. That's deliberate.

if i recall correctly, the hydrants had no water during the Maui fires. Now CA. Wny? Also does it seem to others that the number and severity of disasters has been unusually high in recent years. Crisis of competence that's developed since the 60s? Something else?

Many Dem voters still think they're voting for "the party of JFK". Starting in the 1970s, New Left "revolutionaries" began joining the party and manipulating it into a weapon to achieve their goal, which was literally to bring down our country. "Use the system to destroy the system" was their slogan. Years later, many Americans may have forgotten this, or never found out about it, but that dream is still alive in the hearts of Marxists and their woke disciples.

@@darbyheavey406 Okay, I get that. I do. I'm an old radio person myself. But this isn't radio exactly. Also, the "fetching Mrs. Hewitt" stuff is just ...weird. I wonder if even SHE likes that! Hugh has a useful show, so I endure the idiosyncrasies, but he IS peculiar!

@sportsmediaamerica - Not sure anyone is perfect. I don't agree with Hugh on everything, but his knowledge of local, state and federal politics is second to none, imo. And he makes excellent book and conservative podcast recommendations. He knows the ins and outs, xs and os, better than most.
