So many songs today revolve around being the shit, being cool, getting all the ladies etc. It was so refreshing to me when I found this song that deals with the complete opposite emotions of inadequacy and inferiority. Im pretty sure the majority guys have dealt with these feelings at some point in their lives.

But in thisparticular recording he takes it that step further where his voice personifies the pain and anguish you feel. In the old days this kind of thing was called "the blues". Now days it's somehow linked to dysfunction. Go figure...

I'd bet Yorke sung it like that on purpose, as a way of saying "fuck you for censoring me". It's definitely off pitch and not even sung, it's like a sarcastic out of place VERY. I'm assuming all of that, though, if it was not the case, I don't know why they did such a bad job with it, lol.

Thanks for posting this. I reckon the true test of a song's greatness is if it can be performed just with acoustic guitar and voice, and still resonate the way it would with a full band and electric kit. So much of today's popular music is so bland and forgettable, songs like this are great monuments (like the Pyramids) once you've heard them, you'll never forget them.
