Hello! I gave the radish salad dish a try. It was too salty and made a note not to add the fish sauce in the next try. I added more sugar and it tasted great. It was a hit! Later, I read the other comments and found that the recipe was to be corrected - it's supposed to be sesame oil instead of fish sauce. I did wonder why sesame oil wasn't in the recipe! Slow brains on my part. Then I re-watched the video and of course I missed the sesame oil. Duh! BUT, my family loved the dish anyway 😅
So sorry for the mistake. We are total amateurs and we do make mistakes sometimes. I’m glad you were able to tweak the recipe and I’m so happy to hear you and your family enjoyed it! And, thank you so much for watching! 🥰
Thank you so much, that's all I need.❤ could you tell me, whether we can put it in the refrigerator for storage for a whole week? Could it last more than one day ?
I love Korean side dishes!!! Tried lotus root for the very first time as a ban chan. It was yummy!! Had another side dish that tasted so much like dry squid, but I think it might've been jack fruit or another veggie with same texture... I dunno, but it was delicious!
Hi! Thanks for watching! I’m glad you said something about the measurements. My husband had forgotten to put the recipes in the description section. But, it’s there now! Hope you make the dishes! Enjoy!
Did you use rice syrup? They will lose some of the shiny look when it’s been refrigerated. But that’s ok! As long as it tastes good 😊 Thanks for watching and trying the recipe!

for Spicy Radish Salad (Musaebgchae), sesame oil or fish sauce ?
Omg! Thanks for that catch! It’s sesame oil, not fish sauce! I’ll have my husband correct the mistake on the recipe and instructions.
Can I use sugar instead of rice syrup for lotus banchan?
Thanks for watching! Yes-you can use sugar instead of the rice syrup. Enjoy!
I made the lotus roots, it came out yummy but doesn’t have the shiny sticky look. What is wrong ?
Did you use rice syrup?
They will lose some of the shiny look when it’s been refrigerated. But that’s ok! As long as it tastes good 😊
Thanks for watching and trying the recipe!
Grandmas potato salad is now a Korean side dish??? Lol
