Thanks for the video. It is also a fantastic semi-macro lens. I use for food photography and its awesome. Also, turns out that Panasonic actually made the text on the front of the lens grey, because it was reflecting too much on some subjects.
I have this lens and I think the most annoying thing for me is the aperture. Whenever you change focal length (even the slightest) I get a loud mechanical sound which makes me think it’s not perfect for video, especially if you use the in-built audio as opposed to using a shotgun mic. My other LUMIX lenses don’t suffer from this. I do wonder if I should have sacrificed 2mm on the wide and gained 7mm on the tele side, using the 16-35 f4 would eliminate the loud distracting mechanical sound. Great review video 👍
It is weird, but if you got MC11 adapter, you could use MC11 with canon EFS 10-18mm, you pretty much got 15-27mm and Canon 10-18 with an adapter have the same weight and dimension as Lumix S 14-28. but way cheaper. Also if you use Canon 10-18mm on FHD or 4K, focal Length stay the same with no crop.

I just bought this lens a few months ago. I use it with the S5IIX and regret buying. The highlights have a tendancy to blow out, you can even see it in this video.

Despite excellent review and with people complaining about blow outs, this a semi macro lens after all designed primarily for photography. In any case, those issues can be resolved in production especially when using VLog.

@@pharmadypisithcheng8718 doesnt autofocus as good for video though compared to native.
