- Welcome to the Kenya coast, one of the BEST and most AFFORDABLE beach destination in the world. Massive Beach House, scuba diving in the bluest ocean, sea food lunch on an island and a true front of the plane ride, 20,000ft in the sky!
For this trip we stayed, for the second time in Tiwi Beach (Diani Beach) at the Ocean Villa. Beautiful property right by the ocean which offer different size beach houses with pool, access to an almost private beach, a private chef and much more.

Day at see with snorkeling and lunch on an island kind of activities are very common and popular on the Kenyan coast and available everywhere from Diani Beach to Watamu, Kilifi, Mombasa and more. But The coast is also well know for diving which is something I always wanted to do but never did before. This time I decided to do with an amazing dive master from Pilli Pipa Dhow. We had an amazing time thanks to a great crew and some delicious seafood on the island!

Word of advice for Tracey. If you want to go scuba diving an old trick is to put a couple of drops of warm olive oil in each ear the night before you go. It softens things up a little and makes it easier to compensate. Be careful about the temperature of the oil before you put it in. Best place a drop on the back of your hand to test first. I know as I still have a scar where I first tried. Glad I did not put it straight into my ear.
Love you to stay in the tent for a couple of nights. Just give me a little advance notice and I will keep it for you.
