- Today I am teaching you guys how to make a simple VEGGIE LASAGNA w/ Fresh vegetables & homemade sauce . It’s a simple & fast moving recipe with cool tips which will make your dish a success!!!!
INGREDIENTS:-
20 Barilla Lasagna Sheets
30oz RIcotta Cheese
2lbs Mozzarella Cheese
SAUTEED VEGATABLES :-
1lbs Broccoli (chopped)
1lbs Baby Portobello Mushrooms
16oz Fresh Baby Spinach
1 TBL SPN Fresh Garlic (chopped)
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 TSP Salt
1 TSP Black Pepper
1 TSP Red Chili Flakes
SAUCE RECIPE:-
1 Med Onion (chopped)
2 TBL SPN Fresh Garlic (chopped)
2 TBL SPN Dried Basil
1 TBL SPN Oregano
1 TSP Salt
1 TSP Black Pepper
1 TSP Red Chili Flakes (optional)
1 TBL SPN Tomato Paste
1/2 Cup Olive Oil
30oz Crush Tomatoes
15oz water
IMPORTANT NOTE:-
Bake lasagna for 40 mins @ 425 covered with foil,
remove cover & bake uncovered for 15 to 20 mins . After its out of the oven let it cool off for 20 to 25 mins before serving so the cheese can set . - Навчання та стиль
My wife doesn’t like meat lasagna and I hate white sauce vegetable lasagna. I found this recipe and I have made this about 20x now throughout the past 1yr and half. It truly is a great lasagna that one can tweak or leave as is. The chili flakes are a great way to had the heat that it needs.

I made this but changed up the veges to zuchini, onions, mushrooms, and sweet peppers -- it's the bomb... my husband said it was the best lasagna ever! And I made my own noodles instead of boxed...
I have made that, I used tofu with fresh herbs blended as my recota. And fresh herbs with pinenuts pesto in the top and serve

Update: it is really good, I added roasted red peppers, this could def use green, red, yellow peppers but still tasty...I made one small one for my house tonight and prepared another small one for tomorrow..TY 🙏🏽

My only suggestion is to make the sauce a day before, Italian sauce usually will tasted better when all the ingredients have rested for a day or two, this a really great recipe and very easy way to make this dish. Buon Appetito

Enjoyed the recipe a lot, had family over for a big Italian dinner and everyone loved it. A few comments on what I changed. I had to modify the sauce after adding the 1/2 cup of oil and 2 cups of water. I strained out as much of the oil and water as I could. Next time I will only add oil to the bottom of the pan to sauté the onions and garlic, and would only use about a half cup of water. The original sauce was way to oily and to watered down. Besides that the lasagna was delicious. Thank you so much for the great recipe. I will be making it often.
I never cook my lasagna and its really lasagna. Put the sauce on the bottom of the pan and layer as usual and all of the noodles will be cooked.And I have to say finally a vegetarian lasagna with red sauce. So many people make it with white sauce. Love this video!! Thanks!

I'm on the meat less journey I'm 3 months meat free and actually I don't miss it I prepare meals for the rest of my family but I make me a separate meal from theirs this does look good imma definitely try it in not a mushroom eater but I'm trying to incorporate different vegetables into my new way of eating I'm not a egg plant eater either but imma have to change my mindset when it comes to vegetables one day at a time 👍
