I enjoyed this video, you bring what you like hun. Some people on here think they have the right to judge what other people bring and pack. You do you. Loved the calming music, I hope you enjoy your stay here, its important to bring sentimental items from home. I know what its like to turn up in a country alone with a suitcase and feel so far from home.
12 hours from my flight to study abroad and I'm feeling less awful watching this video as I try to pare down the things I'm trying to pack knowing I'm not alone in the struggle
Girl you could’ve just used a USB Space Saver Vacuum with Ziplock Space Saver bags to squeeze out the air in your clothes & bedding items. That would have made alot more space in the bags. Then you could have easily & not over packed because you could have placed them in the put all your books in your backpack & other items into separate luggages, if a luggage was over weight then you could have just rearranged your luggage to make sure everything was packed properly & underweight. Plus I would have then just said okay it’s overweight so how much do I pay extra for the extra weight? I always have extra money on hand for this exact reason & also to give out tips to airline employees. Especially when traveling overseas to a foreign country. I would have to give out tips to every airline employee who helped me during my travels. ❤😂🎉😊
Hi, i recently stumble upon your video and love how you show how you pack! Im will also be going to the uk this september and this video just saved my life! Thank you❤❤
Heyyy thanks🥰😆 Maybe you can try to contact someone in your university for their advice. I would say I have also made some mistakes on packing, so having suggestions from someone who lives in the city you are going to will be very helpful. They might provide some information on where you can get stuff/food etc. so that you won’t overpack or you can save some space for things you really want to bring along. Hope this helps😆 and all the best 💪❤️
Thank you so much for posting this! If everything went well, I’ll probably be flying abroad to Europe alone by the end of this month to continue my studies, my first time going to a western country and the harsh winter sounds terrifying for me! Even the rainy season in Malaysia sometimes feels too cold for me 🥶 I’m worried my baggages are going to be overload bcs of my winter stuffs haha :’) Anyway have a nice day in the UK! ☺️ looking forward for your other videos as an intl student
The ASMR I got from this is astronomical. Enjoyed every bit of it, including the point where you taped the expiry dates to the Ziploc (that was wise!) Thank you for the video :)
Hey, amazing video! I'm moving to UK in a week, a little nervous. Noticed the video is from 3 years back! You prolly have graduated by now. Congratulations if you have and even if you haven't yet then hope you're doing good anyway!
Omg i just read all the comments. I just want to tell you that it's ok. Because it's ur first time and u will be away from home for a long time, U HAVE THE RIGHT TO PACK AND BRING WHATEVER YOU WANT. For people who dont even know you to judge you based on what you packed, there's really something wrong with them. I hope u have a great time in the uk. And be safe there. I really enjoy all your videos. It was very soothing and thank you for that :)
Hi! I am so happy for you. Congratulations as you managed to further your studies to the UK. I've sent you an email today asking you a few questions. Hope to receive a reply from you soon! :D
Very cute and soothing vid tho, this is my second time watching this, but most points that I would like to change have already been mentioned by that long long comment lol
Hi there, I have brought some washable masks too. I wear them according to places I go; the paper one is when I need to go to crowded or indoor areas. They have filter layers so I feel safer wearing them. I do wear washable one whenever I can! Thank you, I will try to pack my luggage as suggested!
@@unlimited5467 fifth time watching this video already. I truly love your calming video. Actually I'm going to study abroad in October this year and guess what, I also bought and packed more than 30 face masks along with my washable ones (just in case lol)
i personally would have packed less coats, and wore my most bulky stuff on the plane, but that’s just me, and unlike you i’ve lived in similar weather all my life so i’m used to it. hope you had/have a nice time tho!
Be careful as people can't take any comments that are not gushing with praise for her! yes it is not only too many clothes,it is the wrong items and FAR FAR FAR TOO MUCH of everything that is easily available here as you will probably know by now
hey, love your vid! im going to uni in the UK in September too and I just wanna know what documents you kept in each of those files in your luggage. thanks!
Thanks a lot! I understand there’re lots of preparations beforehand! This is how I arrange my files and documents (numbers within the brackets indicate the amount of document and photocopy) 1. Original transcripts (certificates, report card, etc.) 2. CAS statement (4) 3. Offer letter from the university (4) 4. Visa letter from UKVI (original + 4 photocopy) 5. Accommodation Contract (4) 6. Tuberculosis medical certificate (original + 4 photocopies) 7. Passenger locator form for COVID (4) 8. My passport photocopies (4) 9. Parents’ passport photocopies (1 each) 10. Birth certificate photocopies (4), this is not really important so you can choose to leave it out 11. Bank statement (original + 1 photocopy) 12. Photocopies of important transcript mentioned in #1 (4) 13. Travel insurance (original) 14. Medical record (vaccination record etc.) I have three luggage and one backpack. So all original documents, passport, IC, air ticket and other important identification are carried along with me in my backpack. The remaining photocopies are arranged into 4 sets, one set in each luggage and backpack. The reason for this arrangement is to make sure I have at least one copy of documents if I lost any of my luggage. I hope this is clear and helpful! Please feel free to DM me on Instagram or leave a comment here if you have more questions. I am happy to help!
You should consider stuffing your boots and shoes with socks and other small items rather than taking space and weight for just stuffing you wont use again
Hi, I have copies of my certificates, visa related documents etc. I have listed out the documents under one of the comments, you can check that out😆 Hope this helps🫶
Hi. May i know what kind of medicine are u bringing? Im going to the uk to next week and my mum has been asking me to bring some meds but im not sure if it's allowed to bring meds to the uk or not 😌

You can check the following link for more details: www.gov.uk/hand-luggage-restrictions/essential-medicines-and-medical-equipment Wish you all the best in your journey!!

Are meds allowed in check in baggage ?
What happens when your check in bag is over weight ?
Do you pay for the extra weight ?
Do we need to show prescription for suppliments as well??
Supplements*
No, you don’t need prescription for most of the supplements like vitamins etc.
You should consider stuffing your boots and shoes with socks and other small items rather than taking space and weight for just stuffing you wont use again
What were the plastic bags caled ? Which u used for putting ur jacket ?
