Healthy Baby Birthday Cake 🍰🩵

It may not be “professional” but I made it 🥲🎂
This recipe is a healthier option to a smash cake/birthday cake for your baby or toddler. It tastes like banana bread and is soooo easy!
• RECIPE
Dry ingredients:
-2 cups almond flour
-1 tsp baking soda
-1 tsp cinnamon
-Pinch of salt
Wet ingredients:
-3 eggs
-2 ripe bananas
-1 tsp vanilla
If you want your cake more moist, add 1/4 cup of Greek yogurt or sour cream
Frosting
-16 oz organic cream cheese
-1/2 cup butter
-Maple syrup to sweeten (can add a few tbsp or desired amount)
• STEPS
-Mix dry ingredients in a bowl. Mix wet ingredients in a separate bowl. Fold in dry ingredients (don’t over mix). Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 min. Let it cool then frost. For frosting just let the cream cheese and butter sit at room temperature for an hour or so then blend until reached desired consistency. You can also do Greek yogurt as frosting or Coconut Cream.
-This recipe makes 2 small cakes. I made 3 cake layers, so I divided this recipe in half to make the third layer. You could double this recipe if you want the three layers to be larger cakes. 🤍🍰
