Scott Berry from Roland US plays the BK-5 backing keyboard at Kraft Music. Our exclusive BUNDLES will get you everything you need to play your new Roland BK-5.
The Roland BK-5 Backing Keyboard is a self-contained, do-everything keyboard with auto-accompaniment engine and built-in sound system. It's a dream instrument for musicians who need a backing band on stage or at home. BK-5 features a wide selection of sounds, Music Assistants, and Rhythms that cover a wide landscape of musical genres (including East-Europe, Latin-America, Asia, and more). The keyboard plays standard MIDI files and music rhythms directly from USB and in addition, it contains an audio player function to play back MP3 and WAV files. It also allows you to record user performances that can be played back on the BK-5, or transferred to a computer. The BK-5’s video output can be connected to an external screen to share the lyrics and chord symbols of songs during performance.
Kraft Music's exclusive keyboard BUNDLES include great accessories to go along with your new backing keyboard. If you have any questions, please give us call. Our expert product specialists will be happy to assist you in choosing the right keyboard and bundle for you!

Oh Scott - a great demo indeed & I thank you for this! Nice & warm sound by Roland BK5! Smooth transition & delicate backgound supporting accompaniments - simply lovely! I can not understand why some negative remarks made for this wonderful instrument.

Obviously Roland is much better than Yamaha in this range of products. The proof? Keyboards launched in2012 are still ahead of those launched by his major competitor even last year...

The E-50 / 60 were a lot better than this crud of slime. What a rip off. Here in Canada it costs $1300 + tax = $1'470 !! For this. My E-50 is a head & a shoulder better in my opinion.

What a waste of money & time. These BK series are all repackaged E-50 (61 keys), E-60 (76 keys) from 2006 through ~2011. Not only the sounds are very similar but also most of the styles are straight from the E-50 / 60 with no changes; and yes, that goes for BK-9 as well. In fact, scott admitted that the styles, for instance, are only refined a bit. Watch his review on the BK-9 and listen to what he says and especially the sounds and styles as well as the functions.
