EMDR therapy is intense/devastating like this at that very moment and %10000000000 better after you look at that scary thing!! I cannot recommend that enough, or even just shining a light on the dark shadows. I feel like I have Jumped like 10 years ahead just by this EMDR therapy because It's aided me in processing that past stuck trauma - I worked through childhood abandonment wounds that was showing up in many areas but in relationships as anxious attachment style! So painful living that way. But we don't have to

I've been misunderstanding this element for a while and you just put it into words. 28:41 it makes a lot of sense when you put it that way. we look at the future through the eyes of our past trauma/failure etc.. what ever happened to us as a result of past attempts at something created a block that we continue to look through when thinking of trying again, so we hold back or don't try.
