A built-in sprayer with that cap would've been EPIC 😂 Couple of sprays, avoid the eyes, and you will get a big surprise! 🤣 Thoughts reigned in, no worries. Great to see you again Matt!!
People downvoting this on Fragrantica as 'weak' and 'intimate' before even smelling it obviously aren't a fan of Gualtieri and his challenging work huh?
Been waiting for your review, it sounds nice to me, the advertisment of this fragrance as you said has been provocative and sexy, Mr Gualtieri is a genius isnt he, good to hear you've had positive comments from it at the party, nice review, good to see you back matt, take care
You are great Matt! I'm a big Gualtieri fan and I love most of fragrances both lines of Alessandro. My favorite is Seminalis, but I'm waiting now for Sadonaso. ♥
@@QuestioningScents Hallo, today I got finally my Sadonaso. First sniff... it's a typical Gaultieri work. If I analyze the scent, yes... I smell the honey, Peru balsam, musk, fig and carnation... but second sniff... sexiness and I'm in trouble 😅 It's smell like a ............. keep that tasteful... like a hotel room after! 🤭 At first I didn't know I like it or not, but after 30 minutes I'm in love with the new Nasomatto scent. ♥♥♥
Glad that you're sort of settled in Matt :) It sounds like an interesting scent, and to be honest, I don't think that I have ever tried any of their scents. We don't have a stockist near me, so it would probably be a Transpennine Express journey to that Manchester place ha ha.
@@QuestioningScents I did indeed. I was particularly interested in your review of LV L'Immensité. It's incredibly expensive so perhaps not an immediate purchase although I may order a 10ml sample to do me this summer.
@Sandy McConnell that's it in a nutshell , it's a great fragrance, way over priced but quite addictive. It's incredibly versatile though so I have really got through a lot of it
I sampled this on a card yesterday. It was pre sprayed a bit earlier so i didnt experience the very opening. I dont see what funkiness people are talking about . Im getting a sweet creamy milky honey with some coffee. A gourmand. Its strange . Maybe there are 2 versions depending on which cap it has ? I just watched the rest. Maybe it just depends on the nose. Many people said the same things about vintage musc ravageur which i love.
I love that you’re wearing a shirt that says “dickie” while reviewing this. 😂 Great review my friend. I blind bought this and am just waiting on it to show up. Can’t wait!
@@QuestioningScents when this was first released, I immediately went to your channel to get your take on it. I was surprised that you hadn't posted a review of it and now, shortly thereafter, we have it. 🙇. I need to get my nose on this!!
Marketing move look alike Moschino Toy Boy black bear. After 3 years ignoring that bear I had to try it coz of the bottle and ... I was blown away. Black smoky rose is just awesome and it is performing very well. Honestly I don't have wish to give $ for Sadonaso and try it.
Fully agree Matt! Here is my review: Behold, fellow fragheads, for I have been blessed by the lovely Nasomatto team with an early sample of their latest olfactory gem, Sadonaso. First off, let me regale you with the uproarious sample packaging - imagine a tube encased in a plastic bag bursting with lube. Yes, my friends, I had to dive wrist-deep into this sensual sea to rescue the tantalizing tube. Talk about dedication to a theme. As with most Gualtieri creations, Sadonaso's marketing teeters on the edge of scandalous - with provocative nods to BDSM, bodily fluids, and a whole lot of naughtiness. It's as if the perfumer himself dares you to take a whiff. I get that folks tend to overanalyze these risqué allusions and genuinely anticipate a fragrance that reeks like the unholy essence of a long-lost rubber buttplug, having journeyed through an odyssey of human cavities and passed from hand to hand (and other parts) among an ecstatic throng of partygoers. All this during an unrelenting, 72-hour hedonistic marathon held in the dingiest, dankest Hungarian subterranean lair, circa 1980. Now, hold onto your nostrils, because this fragrance does NOT smell like this debaucherous aftermath. The reality is, this is a beautiful perfume. Stylistically, it is closer to the style of Fantomas rather than any other Nasomatto or Orto Parisi release. Synthetic, bold, unusual, enchanting. A mesmerizing mélange of wearable, synthetic elements. It's sweet, intoxicating, almost gourmet. My nose is getting a huge Play-Doh sweet plasticky note in there and that dominates from opening to dry down. Try to picture the offspring of an union between a high-end erotic lubricant and a perfume. Aggressively sweet and fruity, with perhaps the smallest hints of citrusy/bergamot at the top. Then there’s a lot of vanilla, and something coumarinic, perhaps tonka bean. Its body is dominated by a complex collage of masterfully executed musks, in signature Gualtieri style. These musks won't leave you feeling like you've rolled in the mud, nor do they unleash the full beast within - but they're definitely more than just your run-of-the-mill galaxolide and that’s it. You can also expect an entrance of super ambers, making their presence known as anticipated and helping the perfume punch. This is warm. Beautifully warm, and undeniably sexy. It's wearable, and it certainly leans feminine. It might just be the secret weapon for a date night. Fantomas has been one of my favorite Nasomatto releases and Sadonaso is growing on me by the day. So, can Gualtieri ever miss? Not a chance, it seems. Minorstep
Great write up buddy , enjoyed reading it. It's an awesome fragrance, for me it's a step away from the Fantomas style of fragrance , I get where you are coming from though. I love its warmth and sensual aspects which puts it more in line with say Nudiflorum ( Not in smell but more in approach ) glad you like Sado Maso though , its bloody gorgeous
Have you received Blamage? Lol I remember buying that in 2012. Had the privilege of going to the Nasomatto head office in Amsterdam and buying it along with Silver Musk and my annual repurchase of Pardon. I remember wearing it in Amsterdam and my cousin said she could smell me literally across the road. It reminded me of CDG Man 2 (silver bottle) but just a crazy scent.
put the english auto traslation on for fun... Orto Parisi is AutoPrazy, Nasomatto is Nose Tomato.... youtube just doesnt get what the hell the brits saying :D
I think this from Galtierie is pretty disrespectful not to add in the back of the bottle there’s a message of atheism. I was a fan of he’s scents, I lost interest now after this release.
As I said in the video this cap is not going to be for everyone, to hate an entire brand for a cap seems a little extreme. The marketing is probably less suggestive or at least the same as the other campaigns , Duro for example.
"No it doesn't turn into a 50 ml if you play with it. It stays a 30 ml." 😭
😂😂

i noticed this myself, fragrantica should disable comments on a fragrance until its released or not even list it on thier site until its released

Mouchoir de Monsieur from Guerlain is much more wild and animalic but his packaging and his target customer is for gentleman... no one has a problem!
it's my fave nasomatto now. it has the longevity that black afgano (the new batch i have anyway) is lacking.
