Macro Makes Money? Let's check out Moment Macro lens for smartphone photography, video vs Canon M6 Mark II #moment #smartphonephotography
You're exceptional, Zdenka, keep doing this amazing job and I'll keep watching from Nairobi, Kenya
Thank you very much for your kind words and support
Danke!
You are very welcome
I bought Moment Macro lens last week. Thanks for sharing this video. 👌🏻👍🏻
What a coincidence! Enjoy I hope you’re liking it so far….
So far it’s fun. It’s good. 😁👌🏻👍🏻
@@keepsmiling8081 good to hear
Enjoy your very informative vlog regarding macro photography! Thanks Zdenka
You are very welcome
I've been following moment lenses as well for quite some time, reading reviews and watching videos and i have to say i have been in love with them as well. can't wait to get my hands on one of these, especially the macro, the anamorphic and the tele. the ultrawide and fisheye, are not much useful for me though. splendid video as usual Zdenka. i have only recently discovered you, thanks to UA-cam AI for recommending you to me. keep up the excellent work.
I also like the idea of adding Moment to my setup for iPhone 11, but it's same as buying Sony ZV1 so I don't know what to do.
@@ruthun I thought so too, bit I decided to go iPhone route because of these mainly.
1. 60fps 4k
2. More portable, you carry it all the time
3. Better gimbal support for making cool moves like inception
4. Being able to edit the videos
5. Waterproof for rain shots
None of the above are available in a Sony zv1 or any mirror less camera for that matter and they are important for me. If they are not that important for you, the zv1 might be the better choice for you.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts
It all depends on what content you make… are you only doing vlogs or sort of things on the go? Non professional? If you are going to go towards doing professional photography or video of both, then mirrorless camera 100%
@@ZdenkaDarula I will be looking to do more professional work. There is also the new Sony ZVE10 which I am hoping you will review before I make my final investment choice.
I went with the sandmarc version of these lenses. Given my ability (or lack thereof) they were less expensive but still just as sturdy. It’s fun to play around with them.
Great stuff…. Enjoy
Great video comparing the depth of field. Have you ever considered comparing Moment vs Sandmarc lenses? Hey have a great vacation!
Thank you very much…., I simply don’t want to go into more comparisons but rather moved onto creating tutorials… I’ve tested it and still I am confident with the choice
Thanks Zdenka. Very informative video. I have a macro lens for my iPhone 12 pro . It’s not a Moment one, it Dane with a set of cheap smart phone lenses, but I was very surprised at how close up I could get. I highly recommend using a macro with Filmic Remote and a tripod/gimbal if possible. That way you can adjust everything perfectly and eliminate vibration.
Thank you very much for sharing your tips. Best wishes
Amazing work. . .
Thank you very much for your support
ShiftCam and Sandmarc lenses are much better (and easier to use) than the Moment lenses (too expensive, 1 inch maximum focusing distance, bayonet mount).
I sold (lucky me!!) my Moment X10 macro lens and bought a Shiftcam 75mm macro lens X10 (5-10cm focus range, standard screw mount, perfect image quality).
Also, Moment lenses are for iPhone users, ShiftCam and Sandmarc are for EVERYONE.
I thank you for sharing your thoughts
It's the shame Moment has stopped to support Android, Samsung S21 Ultra much better makro and bigger sensor, Xiaomi, Huawei etc.... could be better results using Moment and those mobiles ... good video and idea 💡👍 by the way
I know…. From what I understand it wasn’t possible to handle all those different Android systems …
I am interested in this Moment macro lens for my iPhone 14 that I just purchased. The only thing I don't like, is that I have to purchase a special case for my phone to make it work. I currently have a nice Otter Box case that I really like. My question is, how good are the iPhone cases that you must get in order for the Moment macro lens to fit to it? Do they offer good protection for your iPhone? Thanks
I have been always using Moment cases and I’ve dropped phones many times. Never had any issue. I hope that’s the answer you’re looking for.
How I wish you would cover Fujifilm cameras and lenses. Fujifilm 80mm macro is breathtaking and for a bargain the Laowa 65mm manual lens is awesome. But I really think you'd love the Fuji ecosystem for your photography time 😎👍 I love my X-T4 📷
I would have to be a millionaire 😂 sadly I cannot effort other cameras..
@@ZdenkaDarula lol I feel you, and I definitely am not asking you to spend the money, but it would be awesome if Fujifilm would send you some loaners to let you play with for a week or so. 😎 I really enjoy your content and sometimes I just wish that some of our favorite youtubers would cover the gear that we have 😁.
Please continue to create your awesome content 👍👍
With iPhone you can hold down anywhere on the screen and do a focus lock.
Absolutely
i have the lg wing, its hard to find a lens so i made 2 of them. 2x macro and a 1x macro and yes, i made it out of an old jvc vhs lens with a projector lens and i have macro
Thank you very much for sharing
Moment or sandmarc? Which ones better for the iPhone 11?
It really doesn’t matter what phone you have…. I find Moment lenses very high quality and I am personally staying with them
I liked your videos always
Thank you very much for your support
Hi that lens look interesting and I think there is more to come as smartphone photography develops. It’s almost a specialised field of its own as camera manufacturers push the lenses and software further and further with more accessories appearing. I was going to purchase a Sony camera for vlogging but the price of its lenses are as dear as the camera body. I guess I will continue with my smart phone instead. ATB.
Yes i think as well that it is only going to get better…. Best wishes
Do you think I can use this lens to scan 35mm film?
Unfortunately, I haven’t tried this, so I cannot answer
I dont know much about lenses. Moment wasnt available in my country so I ordered a Kodak 15x Macro lens instead. Is Kodak good? The only other option was a Chinese brand that I forgot its name. ^^
Thank you very much for sharing. I am not familiar with Kodak lenses, so unfortunately, I cannot give you feedback on that.

Hey, I got my macro lens but need your advice.
I'm using my Smartphone + macro lens to take Macro photos. I have two options:
1-Taking RAW pictures: The phone doesn't let me use burst mode, so I have to wait 3 seconds between each shot. And 95 out of 100 photos end up blurry.
2-Using the stock camera: The phone allows me to take 30 burst photos in 2 seconds. I move my camera while shooting bursts, so capturing the best shot is much easier, but the output is JPEG.
Hey Zdenka, greetings from Brazil! I got an IPhone 12 Pro Max and a Osmo 4 because of your videos! Hoping to learn more with you! Can you tell me how do you use de VND 52 lens on your iPhone?
Many greetings back to you. When it comes to filter I suggest watching few videos such as this one where it is all explained: ua-cam.com/video/Y-zQSnxU9LI/v-deo.html
I sold some of mine to Shutterstock wity the sandmarc macro lens
Thank you very much for sharing. That is great to hear
Interesting to see the "Rejection Reason" information box; noise, grain, artefacts, etc.
Is there a utility online or other that can be fed images and grade them in a similar way or is it recommended to just open a stock account and see what comes back from them?
If I change my processing, lighting, or equipment and settings it would be useful to know if the results meet a standard like stock photography and then proceed from there. Thanks.
You really have to just submit. Quite often happens that one agency doesn’t like something but another one will accept it
Can you experiment with Canon M50 Mark II? Thanks
What do you mean exactly? 😉
@@ZdenkaDarula I mean may be more with the M50 or M50 Mark II (if u have it) rather than Sony and M6…etc. Lots of M50 users out there and many opportunities for experimentation. Example Infrared photography using filters, macro, light painting, ….etc. I suggest telling a story rather than a specific review. (The latter is plenty in UA-cam). The story usually sticks better and keeps us coming back. Again my Point of View only. You’re doing great anyway. Appreciate your time on all of this.
@@photofusionart Thank you very much... sadly those videos started crashing my channel down.... people don't want that anymore... it is flooded with stuff like that already...

So these people doesn't know about PROSUMER LENSES for smartphones 🙄😱? Try some of the handmade macro lenses ....
Thanks I’ve seen it but I’m not interested
