Just used mine for the first time. Have had 10 plus back surgeries in the past three years. Last one in November completely fused my entire spine. I love this product. My husband and son tried to keep up with the house cleaning but I am a compulsive cleaner. This really works. No more grunge etc in bathroom corners or around toilet. Love It.
I got one yesterday, charged it all night. Now, I LOVE IT!! I bought mine BECAUSE of your review! I have arthritis, carpel tunnel, and my hands are just plain weak. I sprayed a little hard water cleaner (which I'm going to ditch for vinegar!!) And I used the small brush. My kitchen faucet looks amazing for just a quick go over! I'm so impressed! Thanks!!
I have degenerative disc disease in the neck so cleaning my bathtub/shower/tile has become challenging. I bought this at Walmart with a bit of skepticism but thought....what the heck, I can always return it. Well to my surprise this thing saved the day. I no longer have to bend over and clean the tub or bend forward and strain to clean the shower which is hell on my neck. I can stand straight and let this thing do all the work. Some people are commenting on the battery life, however, I haven't had any problem using it for 30 minutes straight. You definitely can't put pressure on it and the torque is low so no cleaning caked on or hard to remove stains. But in my opinion, as a chronic pain sufferer, it gets the job done nicely.
Honestly I think this product is actually made for people who have a disability such as you do. I bet it's tough to bend over, makes chores a chore. Hope you feel better
I bought mine for the very same reason plus I have 2 artificial knees and can no longer be down on my knees to scrub. I haven't had mine long but gave it a grade of A for my 1 piece fiberglass shower/tub units. I just sprayed them down with Scrubbing Bubbles and let the spinner scrub it off. Next, I need to try it on the grout on my tile floors. I plan to spray them down with grout cleaner first, let it soak in and then scrub them.
Janet Rebman Glad to hear it's saved the day for you. For people like us, cleaning has become hell on wheels. Prior to getting the scrubber, family would come over and gawk about my dirty stove and dirty shower yet I couldn't get them to understand how challenging cleaning was. I didn't have the money to hire professional cleaners so I had to do what I could when my pain levels subsided. If I could give the inventor a hug, I would. I definitely feel with time, they'll make one with more torque power because I see this being a hit for pain sufferers. Good luck to you and I wish you as many pain free days as possible! Happy cleaning!
Your review was so much more representative of what my house look like, as opposed to the other reviews that I have just watched about this product. All of the other reviews have immaculate homes, and they don't show anything being cleaned. Thank you for your 'realistic' review.
I own a residential cleaning company. The problem with any cleaning head on a pole is that it's hard to apply (that's just physics) when holding by the handle. This might not be a factor for maintenance cleaning. Also, it looks like it will make a mess throwing grime all over the place and it can't get into corners well. If you really want to save time and effort, just wet whatever you are going to clean with water and clenser, let it dwell for 5 minutes while you clean something else. Then clean it before it dries.
Bought it. Charged it overnight. It spins too slowly to really "scrub" anything. The directions indicate you can't use abrasives. Nope. Took it back and bought a little scrubber brush head and put it on my cordless driver drill. That did the job. I could use abrasives and I saved over 25 bucks. Garbage.
I typically do t watch review videos because they seem to be biased and don't want to try the items like this, I'm sorry but I'm glad you didn't try this on a sparkling clean bathroom or grout for a couple reasons 1. What's the point how would we know and see results 2. Normal families with multiple bathrooms don't get cleaned as often as we'd like and showers get dirty, floors get dirty and honestly I'd rather spend time with my family and allow them to "LIVE" in their home rather than chase behind them to clean up every five seconds..... so for those two reasons alone I subscribed because I appreciate the "Real life reviews" , and there's actually 4 items I'm ordering to help with spring cleaning and before I spent the money I wanted to see real people s results and you've reviewed all the products, so double thumbs up! Thanks 👍🏻👍🏻
Hey Shonia! Yeah I don't understand why some people complain about me using this in a dirty bathroom. Isn't that the point? Haha! Thanks for the comment and the kind words.
Used it to scrub the floor on my dad's boat. It was filthy and green (he'd been sick for a number of months and the boat sat). It worked great. I was really surprised, as I actually wasn't expecting too much from it. I've since used it for other jobs, and have been very satisfied.
Dude - if you didn't move the thing around as much and as fast as you do in the video, let the scrubber do the work, you'll find you don't have to press so hard. On the floor grout I was surprised it worked as well as it did given that you moved back and forth so quickly. Since the head is moving quickly, you don't have to. Just some advice.
Same with vacuuming: slooooooooow movement enables the vacuum enough time to actually suck up the dirt. People who use quick back-and-forth strokes never get their rugs/carpet clean.
I love mine. I just got it yesterday as an early mothers day gift. I cleaned my entire bathroom in 30mins vs. the hour is takes me using a stupid sponge. I clean my walls and floor and it worked amazing. and I didn't turn it off after that because the sound put my baby to sleep and kept her asleep. It held up for 2 and a half hours after I finished my bathroom. so it was on for a total of 3 hours. I think they may have improved the battery.
I suspect it kept running for that 2 and a half hours more due to not applying any pressure on it on a hard surface (just a guess). Mine even when new was hard pressed to get an hour of actual use out of it. However it is as the reviewer said, extremely wobbly when using the extension. I have to apply so much pressure to make it clean soap scum out of the tub that it feels like the extension is flexing far too much. I just went back to using a scrubby sponge as I can apply as much pressure as I need.
I'm sorry but I was very disappointed in this scrubber. I actually ordered an other.brand but azon had trouble shipping and after a month this brand was delivered for the same price. While I was waiting on a refund that was promised. The brushes don't seem very strong and keep falling off. I'm still getting accustomed to charging it so that the charge will last until I finish the job on hand I think I wasted my money. Just not what I expected
I bought one because after surgery from a shattered elbow, I can't straighten my arm, nor do I have any muscle (for lack of a better word). and I love it! I'm right hand dominant, so I held it with my right hand and applied a little pressure on the head with my left hand - I'm extremely impressed! It even got "gunk" out from under the shower door that I would never have been able to reach! Love mine!
I am going to buy this. Great for those who have physical limitations who can not kneel or bend, the extension will help reach areas hard or painful to reach. Thank you for your demonstration!
It's 3 years later and mine still works well. But I do spray vinegar&water in the sink and tub. It does a good job on ceramic tiles with hard water staining.
I used mine for the 1st time today after ordering about a 1.5 years ago from the lakeside catalog. I'd misplaced the instructions and everything. Came online to your channel and thanks to you I was able to clean my bathtub which had a lot of soap scum buildup. I did use the extension handle. It was a little wobbly mostly because I started out using my non dominant hand. But it got the job done. Thanks again for the review.
When you clean the grout I wouldn't keep moving it around like that. What is more effective is to use like an electric toothbrush, just put the brush in the grout groove and leave it there for a few seconds then move along the groove.
I watched this review before I ordered it and I love the product ..,but months later I started watching your reviews on everything.wish I had realized way back that u have an entire channel of reviews !
It'd be really nice if they designed it to work like a Norelco shaver, that is you can use both corded or cordless. Plug in and start using, or let it finish the charging and use cordlessly.
I'm a little concerned with the 8-hour charge time for only 1-hour of usage, not to mention the initial 20-hour charge before ever using the product. Thanks for sharing your review. This really gave me something to think about. I almost bought this at Bed Bath Beyond.
I just got one of these scrubbing brushes, drilled a hole through it, put a Bolt and nut through the hole and attached that brush to my hand held power drill. Saved all that money and got all the grime out of grotty tiles. Try it , - it works. I'll be making a large number of cleaning attachments for that drill ! And then I noticed that some guy had this bright idea and used it as a power drill life hack video!
I like it. it's extremely useful for certain jobs and gets into hard reached areas very well. The brushes are just ok quality, so replacing them will be often and quickly add up $$$. It's a hard plastic that is pretty sturdy. Abrasive cleaners will eat the brushes very fast. Better, using Non Abrasive. Final verdict, good product for bathroom cleaning.
Hey Kenneth, and thanks for the comment. I use it pretty regularly and I'm still happy with it. It seems that the corner brush frays quickly, but the others have held up pretty well.
I am a custodian. Try leaving a cleaning solution, let it sit for a while then scrub. It should come off pretty fast. If you do this on a weakly basis, you won't have to scrub hard. You can also spray areas during the week, doing nothing else and that will keep the grime from hardening. Doing this you might not even need the scrubber.
this product will help keep Americans fat, where does the grime/dirt go? is there a collector on the brush, or does it just fling it around the bathroom?
Got mine in yesterday, charged it for 20 hours initially. Did a good job in my shower, but battery only lasted about 5 minutes - so may take a few days to do my small shower.
I would return it - it might be defective. Also, if you are pressing too hard when you clean, then that wears the battery out much quicker too. If you spray it and let it sit a minute before cleaning, you should be able to slowly move the brush over the dirt and get it clean.
Use baking soda and vinegar and when you clean let it sit for like 5 minutes and then start scrubbing All that elbow grease that you needed before will no longer be needed
I've had mine just about a year, have used it maybe 8 times. I really liked it at first, but after the 6th time the battery charge didn't last long enough to clean one half of my shower door. So $30 later, I'm scrubbing my bathroom with the brushes by hand. Not very happy.
I have had mine over two years and I love it. I don’t like the extension handle or the dome brush. I use everything else and it isn’t difficult at all. Wished I had more fore presents
Actually works better if you don't bear down. Also, for some reason seems to work better with chlorine cleaner - it whips it into a foamy cream that then really seems to clean. If you don't get that foaming action, it's not as good. Don't ask why!
Just found one of these at the thrift store . Almost didn’t buy it but it looked brand new never used. Soooooo glad I did! This thing is awesome! For real
I bought this same thing in England two weeks ago and used it to clean a sink and shower. Overall it did a good job and I agree with your findings, although I think the corner brush has a design problem - the longest part of the brush has the least amount of rotation and hence the least amount of cleaning power, making it less effective at cleaning where three walls meet at a corner.
I actually have 2 different brands of this scrubber in my Amazon shopping cart and was debating getting one. Came to your channel because of the Purple mattress review (we are trying to decide between the Purple or Tempurpedic) but was pleasantly surprised to find this. Still torn between the two mattresses but I'm excited to get this now!
I've had one of these for several years. But I didn't buy it to scrub tubs or grime. I have a bad hip and I can't reach my feet to exfoliate them in the shower. So what I do is sit on the tub chair in the bathtub and fill the tub with water. After soaking my feet and lower legs for about 10 minutes, I use the hurricane scrubber to exfoliate the dead skin. Then I drain the tub and I have my shower.
I love it, especially for my walls and hard to reach areas like that NASTY floor area behind the toilet. I hate lying on the dang toilet seat trying to clean that area. 😩🤢
Here's a cleaning solution that works. In a 16 oz bottle, 1 Tablespoon blue Dawn liquid, fill bottle slowly with white vinegar, swirl and spray your shower doors, shower walls or bathroom sinks. Let set several hours and rinse. If you didn't dissolve all the grime, use spray again. Be careful and run the fan because the vinegar has a very strong smell. For stainless steel replace the vinegar with 5% white rubbing alcohol. Do not use to clean inside of your stove. The vinegar one works for this. Hope this helps.
Love this scrubber because it does most of the work for me, and I don't mind wiping up a tiny bit with a sponge. At least hurricane spin scrubber did most of the work for me, and I got done faster and didn't have to wear myself out.
I have one that I got for Christmas. I am not impressed with it. It takes more effort to hold it and try to clean with it than it does to use elbow grease and use a good sponge.
Mine died after about 2 uses. Did my initial 24 hour battery charge. Used it the first time and it lasted maybe 45 minutes. Charged again for 12 hours. The second charge lasted 30 minutes again. After this, I left it on the charger for 12 hours, still didn't last for more 15 minutes. Charger stopped charging and I never used it again.
I used this for the 1st time yesterday when I got home. It works fine on the bathtub but not so good on the tile wall. Lacks power in that area. However I’m glad I no longer have to fuck up my back & knees drubbing the tub.
They call it turbo scrub here. I use mine a lot as we live in a hard water area. Ived used in my son's shower and I've used it down the toilet bowl and on the kitchen floor. The battery lasts for ages. I dont think it's that fast. I prefer the short flat brush
Distilled vinegar and long handle non power scrubber. Powder cleanser with bleach if you need to sanitize faster than vinegar can. Both if sanitation and mineral deposits need to be removed quickly. Just don't mix them unless you already verified it's safe and that they don't weaken each other. Either way, you don't need heavy grease in the elbow.
This is the best video I am looking for. It is very, very helpful from begin as how to assemble the parts to finish as which head can be used for. Thanks a lot.
I think you would have absolute 100% better grout cleaning results if you spray bleach on your grout! It'll turn white, even without the scrubbing. The limeaway doesn't work as good as bleach. Worth a try. Love your videos too! Thanks for reviewing! Going to buy it because of you!
I find with the extension you need to use two hands one hand to steady it and the other to move it it along the cleaning path, it will spare your back and knees the literal pain of cleaning in the tub.
Nice to see someone testing with real types of build up that typically are seen rather than a clean surface that has something smeard on. Not to put down professional vids from sellers becouse is important to consider when purchase how oftan one might even wanna make use of these.
I bought it for the sake of washing my windows. The last owners what these jalousie windows get bad. Instead of going through effortless scrubbing. I let a battery powered scrubber do it for me. And it did an awesome job. Worth the money.
Great idea in theroy however it is very weak in power. Any pressure to get into cracks and crevices shuts it right down. Battery life is very short. I bought two thinking I would have back up for long jobs. I was so disappointed, I didnt open the 2nd unit. Today the 2 scrubbers are in a garrage sale hoping to get $15.00. Lessons learned not to believe all of what the commercials imply.
I don't know why, but I find your reviews both interesting and entertaining. It's nice to see what some of this garbage does in real life and not by a guy with a bow tie.
Thanks so much for the review. I've been trying to decide between the Hurricane and the Clorox for about a month. Can yo recommend something that is more reliable and sturdy than these two?
I would like to have seen a comparison of traditional elbow grease versus the hurricane on the sink. The hurricane looks like it did a good job but if you just wiped it the old-fashioned way would you have gotten the same results? And what is the difference in effort between the two?
Hi Maher. It has been about a month of regular use and I've seen no significant degradation of the brushes or battery life. The corner brush frayed rather quickly, but I primarily use the dome brush and it has held up quite well.
I bought this and the battery only lasts 5 to 10 minutes. When placed on the charger it never turns green to indicate it is fully charged. Not sure if the rechargable battery can be changed. Wound up costing a lot more than then advertised price after shipping and handling. I did use it once on my cement slab stairs and it did remove some old stubborn mildew stains. But again it would only run for 10 minutes before needing a charge. Mosting it was a big waste of money.
Just squirt dish soap in a few inches of water in the tub. Use sturdy stiff broom to sweep/scrub tub and surround. No bending and stretching. Fast and easy
Best way to use it is not to move the scrubber and circles as you would one that doesn't spin on its own. Just move guide up and down side to side and let the scrubber do the spinning and that way it works better.
What kind of cleaning fluid did you use......I have multiple chemical sensitivity as well as being severely asthmatic, so can I just use my dish washing detergent that doesn't have an nasty chemicals that I could react to?
he used lime away. I have multiple chemical sensitivites too but when I clean I try to use the ones that are either scented with lemon and I swear mask when I clean
What I wanted to see was you use the scrubber around the toilet floor because I hate scrubbing there and I would love a brush that would work for that. Also, do you have to buy rechargeable batteries? Thank you for the review👍🏻😀
I use Scrubbing Bubbles spray. Works like magic on chrome and scum. You barely need to scrub. Water calcification needs CLR or LimeAway. The only advantage to this machine is not having to bend over to clean in a tub or shower floor or lower walls. If you just spray your tub and/or shower with a shower spray after you shower and then rinse it down after some time to soak in you should have a clean tub/shower all the time. This is a waste of money especially because of the length of time to charge it and/or the short battery time to use the device.
Just used mine for the first time. Have had 10 plus back surgeries in the past three years. Last one in November completely fused my entire spine. I love this product. A man that cleans the bathroom, you make an old grannies heart go pitter-patter!!!🤗
Why am i watching this i need to go to sleep
Papa A because you like to watching people cleaning makes you feel so satisfying
That Spin Scrubber is hypnotizing you. You are getting very sleepy 😴
First buy the spin scrubber then go to sleep
Yep
Thats ok my data is used up in half the month cause utube stays on while i sleep
If you buy this don't order it from the TV ad. They have it at BB&B and Rite-Aid. No massive shipping charges and it's the upgraded model.

Same with vacuuming: slooooooooow movement enables the vacuum enough time to actually suck up the dirt. People who use quick back-and-forth strokes never get their rugs/carpet clean.

$40?!?! I had just bought this at Wal-Mart for $19 today! You can still get this product AND save yourself some money people.
very convenient
I can't find it for $19. Walmart online is $39.88, Did you purchase it online or in the store?
Debbie Mounts I had purchased that in the store
Jealous. I just bought it for $40 too....
Nicole Nicholas is it the hurricane scrubber or the Clorox one at Walmart?
I use it for my teeth works great my teeth have never been whiter!!!!
Is that before or after you cleaned the toilets with it?
Before works best then you should try it

Use baking soda and vinegar and when you clean let it sit for like 5 minutes and then start scrubbing All that elbow grease that you needed before will no longer be needed
The Bailey spinner! Lol. We really appreciate your doing this. Saves us time and money.
Bailey was being a hurricane in the background 😂
I thought it was so funny when you were talking about the spin scrubber and your dog was spinning in the background. It was so cute!!
lol, best part about this video is watching your dog chase its own tail. priceless... oh and thanks for the brush review. 🤣😅😂
"I found a bathroom"
I can only imagine what occurred before this video for this to happen XD
Your dog and his background is hilarious. :)
I have used it for the last 2 years, and it does good job!
I have one that I got for Christmas. I am not impressed with it. It takes more effort to hold it and try to clean with it than it does to use elbow grease and use a good sponge.
Waste of money!
I love it. Works wonder
Thankyou! Another slam dunk! Another one I wanted to know about and maybe buy.😍✌
Excellent tip, and I'll definitely try that! Thank you for the nice comment.
:)
When you get ready to test the Miracle Spin Scrubber 2.0, I'm happy to offer my bathroom for that test. Very helpful review. Thanks!
What did he use for a cleaning agent, it didn't clean with just water, I own one and you need a good cleaning agent for this to even begin to work
That thing looks dangerous! Very nice scrubber. Cool video James.
I have the hurricane spin. I like this product a lot I have no problem with work just for me no complaints here
Don’t move the brush around so much. The motor provides the movement. Just slowly move it across the area that you are cleaning.
I bought it for the sake of washing my windows. The last owners what these jalousie windows get bad. Instead of going through effortless scrubbing. I let a battery powered scrubber do it for me. And it did an awesome job. Worth the money.
You can use a drill, long threaded rod and replacement scrubber heads for a lot less and the rpms are crazy.
You'd be amazed at how clean that thing would get your grout if you use a mixture of baking soda, vinegar and dawn. Great review!
Oh! Thank you for the tip!
Great vid...im definitely going to purchase it....lol dog in the back ground chasing its tail.😂👍 i had to watch it again.
8:03 the dog turns into a fidget spinner
Great video. I am charging mine now and figured I'd watch some reviews. That dog is a hoot!
Thanks I was considering buying it but you can never believe commericals. Now I know for sure. Thanks again.
How shit, your videos have come a LONG way
I wonder if this will be a good back washer in the shower. Looks like it would feel amazing 😭😂
I never thought about that 😂
If you want to scrub off your skin..😳😂😂😂
I don't know why, but I find your reviews both interesting and entertaining. It's nice to see what some of this garbage does in real life and not by a guy with a bow tie.
Bought one today at Ross for $19.99. Happy to see how good it works!
Thanks so much for the review. I've been trying to decide between the Hurricane and the Clorox for about a month. Can yo recommend something that is more reliable and sturdy than these two?
I think they're all pretty reliable, but I haven't found a scrubber like this that is sturdy when using the extension handle.
I would like to have seen a comparison of traditional elbow grease versus the hurricane on the sink. The hurricane looks like it did a good job but if you just wiped it the old-fashioned way would you have gotten the same results? And what is the difference in effort between the two?
Hello sir! Thank you for this. Any issues thus far on longevity? Do the brushes wear out quickly? Battery losing juice? Losing torque?
Hi Maher. It has been about a month of regular use and I've seen no significant degradation of the brushes or battery life. The corner brush frayed rather quickly, but I primarily use the dome brush and it has held up quite well.
Maher Bitar Yes yes yes and yes.
@@glennso47 Yes yes yes and yes
Not that you would always want to but can you use it while plugged in?
I bought this and the battery only lasts 5 to 10 minutes. When placed on the charger it never turns green to indicate it is fully charged. Not sure if the rechargable battery can be changed. Wound up costing a lot more than then advertised price after shipping and handling. I did use it once on my cement slab stairs and it did remove some old stubborn mildew stains. But again it would only run for 10 minutes before needing a charge. Mosting it was a big waste of money.
Great review!
I’ve been wanting to try this Thank you!
Just squirt dish soap in a few inches of water in the tub. Use sturdy stiff broom to sweep/scrub tub and surround. No bending and stretching. Fast and easy
Thanks very much for this review. So great to see how this works!
What cleaner did you use on the shower stall?? My parent's shower stall is impossible, thanks!
I used Lime Away.
Thank you for advice!!
What did you use to clean with?
Why does it take 20 hours to charge and only last 20min?. I just got it. Im looking for to using it, because of your excellent video.
Best way to use it is not to move the scrubber and circles as you would one that doesn't spin on its own. Just move guide up and down side to side and let the scrubber do the spinning and that way it works better.
did you use any cleaning spry or solution during the sink and tub test? or was it the scrubber and water only??
Hi, I used Lime-A-Way for the shower, and Lysol Tub & Tile for the tub, sink, and tile.
thank you for the demonstration with tact we can also clean the wheels of the car even the carpets,
Are the brushes soft so they don't scratch?
Phew...just orderet one and then saw this video , looks like it works allright, great video :-)
Thank you for this detailed review. I am going to get one!
Will it still spin if the head is fully immersed in water?
I'm thinking this would be a great tool for big fish tanks to remove algae.
yes i want to know if can put in a bucket of water and cleaner?
What kind of cleaning fluid did you use......I have multiple chemical sensitivity as well as being severely asthmatic, so can I just use my dish washing detergent that doesn't have an nasty chemicals that I could react to?
he used lime away. I have multiple chemical sensitivites too but when I clean I try to use the ones that are either scented with lemon and I swear mask when I clean
What I wanted to see was you use the scrubber around the toilet floor because I hate scrubbing there and I would love a brush that would work for that. Also, do you have to buy rechargeable batteries? Thank you for the review👍🏻😀
please make a video about how to change the battery of this product.
your yard sales have got to be EPIC
I use Scrubbing Bubbles spray. Works like magic on chrome and scum. You barely need to scrub. Water calcification needs CLR or LimeAway.
The only advantage to this machine is not having to bend over to clean in a tub or shower floor or lower walls. If you just spray your tub and/or shower with a shower spray after you shower and then rinse it down after some time to soak in you should have a clean tub/shower all the time. This is a waste of money especially because of the length of time to charge it and/or the short battery time to use the device.
The best on of this type is an attachment that you use with a drill. It is 10 times more powerful and only around 5 or 6 bucks USD
